This RV park boasts a great location, cleanliness, organization, and a range of amenities, making it a noteworthy consideration for both short and long-term visitors exploring the Alamo City and its surrounding attractions.
Based on feedback from actual guests, the environment at Traveler's World is generally well-regarded. One reviewer noted the park was "clean, organized and well equipped," indicating a commitment to maintaining a pleasant and functional space for visitors. Another highlighted the presence of "lots of trees for shade," which is a significant benefit, especially during the hot Texas summers, providing a more comfortable and enjoyable outdoor experience. Furthermore, the positive interactions with fellow campers, described as "kind," contribute to a welcoming community feel within the park.
Traveler's World appears to offer a comprehensive set of services and features aimed at ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay for RV travelers. These include:
- Full Hookups: As mentioned by one reviewer ("Full hook up"), guests can expect essential connections for water, electricity (likely both 30 and 50 amp service), and sewer at their individual sites. This is a fundamental requirement for most RVers and provides self-sufficiency during their stay.
- Laundry Facilities: The availability of a "great washer dryer system that you can use Google or Apple Pay for" is a significant convenience, especially for longer stays. The modern payment options add to the ease of use.
- Pool Area: A "lovely" pool area is mentioned, suggesting a well-maintained space for relaxation and recreation, particularly welcome during warmer months.
- Pet-Friendly Policy: For those traveling with furry companions, Traveler's World is "pet friendly," making it a suitable choice for many RVers. It's always advisable to inquire about any specific rules or designated areas for pets.
- Wi-Fi Access: While free internet is provided, one reviewer noted it to be "rather week" and suitable for only the "most basic of uses," with streaming or work potentially requiring the purchase of additional data. This is an important consideration for guests who rely heavily on internet connectivity.
- Child-Friendly Elements: The park includes "tiny pet putt golf and small pool," indicating some amenities that may appeal to families with children, although the overall atmosphere is described as "mostly adult oriented with quiet community."
The location of Traveler's World is consistently praised as a significant advantage. One guest explicitly stated, "A great location for sure!" and another highlighted it as a "Great location for seeing Downtown and mission tours." This suggests that the park offers convenient access to some of San Antonio's most popular attractions, making it an ideal base for exploring the city's rich history and culture. Traveler's World Reviews
We stayed here a few nights in our RV and quite enjoyed it. A great location for sure! The park was clean, organized and well equipped. We were grateful to do laundry and the pool area looked lovely. It was quiet and the other campers were kind. My only complaint is the Wifi. It allowed for only the most basic of uses, we could not stream Netflix or work (which is why I stay at these types of parks). You can of course, pay for more data; which I find insulting at the rate for a night here. This would be 5 star if they provided better Wifi.
Mar 20, 2025 · carrie HiLove, safe place to stay. Staff is very accommodating. Lots of trees for shade and many of the sites. Some drainage issues with water pooling at the entry point of pull through sites. Full hook up. Great location for seeing Downtown and mission tours. highly recommend this location. pet friendly. Great washer dryer system that you can use Google or Apple Pay for. free but rather week Internet. Child friendly elements like tiny pet putt golf and small pool but mostly adult oriented with quiet community. 10/10
Apr 20, 2025 · Elizabeth CarrStaid here for a few days in our class a. It’s a really nice park, big spaces and easy to get in and out of. Each spot has a nice little grassy yard. They have a pickleball court and fitness center and swimming pools. It was about a 10 minute drive to the Alamo and river walk from here. Everyone was real friendly and they had a few park models as well. Would def stay here again if we’re in the San Antonio area.
Oct 18, 2024 · Mike LynnGot there on a Sunday. Not enough good information to get parked easily. Place was clean and very convenient to downtown San Antonio.
Jan 16, 2025 · Laurie MarbleOur first time to this area and resort and we had an enjoyable time. The park is nicely maintained, level lots, green grass nice space between each and some have shade which is a luxury in the heat and humidity. The pool was so refreshing and a place to meet new friends, sadly it closes at 10 (one more hour would be perfect!). Check in was a breeze especially after hours. Staff is super friendly. Laundry was squeaky clean and easy to use with a credit card or coins. Down the street was a bit sketchy but I never felt unsafe ever. I "heard" there were some homeless down by the river walk but you are in TX so I doubt any would mess w/ travelers, I did not see them nor did I go to the riverwalk area next door. The location is fabulous to the Alamo, the river walk in the city and other local attractions. We didn't vist the fitness center but heard from new friends it was nice, the pickle ball court looks brand new and my dog loved the dog park each day. If you go this week you must stop by the pool at night and say hello to Maggie and Louie a friendly couple from CA. Oh water pressure is amazing too! everything worked great, if we pass through again we will be back :)
