While specific details about Summit Village require a thorough online search to ensure accuracy and completeness, this introduction will outline the typical environment, services, and features one might expect from a well-regarded RV park, especially when considering options within the "RV parks near me" category.
The environment of Summit Village is likely a significant part of its appeal. The name itself suggests a location with elevated views or proximity to scenic summits. This could mean the park is nestled in a mountainous region, offering breathtaking vistas, fresh mountain air, and opportunities for hiking and exploring natural landscapes. Alternatively, "summit" could refer to a high point overlooking a valley, lake, or other attractive geographical features. Regardless of the specific setting, an RV park named Summit Village likely prides itself on its picturesque surroundings, providing a tranquil and visually appealing backdrop for your RV stay. You might expect well-maintained grounds that complement the natural beauty of the area.
When it comes to services, a quality RV park like Summit Village typically offers a range of amenities to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay for RV travelers. Essential services usually include spacious and level RV sites with full hookups. Full hookups generally comprise connections for electricity (often 30 and 50 amp service), water, and sewer. The layout and size of the sites can vary, with some offering pull-through access for larger rigs and others being back-in sites. It's common for RV parks to provide well-maintained restroom and shower facilities, and laundry rooms for guests' convenience, especially for those on longer journeys. Potable water fill-up stations and dump stations are also standard necessities.
The features of Summit Village are designed to enhance the overall camping experience and provide opportunities for recreation and relaxation. Many RV parks offer a central gathering place such as a clubhouse or community room where guests can socialize, participate in planned activities, or simply unwind. Recreational amenities might include a swimming pool or hot tub, especially in warmer climates, providing a refreshing way to cool off. For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Summit Village could feature amenities like a playground for children, a dog park for furry companions, and perhaps sports courts such as basketball, volleyball, or pickleball. Picnic areas and barbecue grills are often available for outdoor dining.
Given the potential for scenic views implied by the name, Summit Village might also offer features that maximize the enjoyment of its location. This could include observation decks or common areas strategically placed to offer the best vistas. Hiking trails accessible from the park or nearby could be a significant draw for nature enthusiasts. The park's proximity to local attractions, such as state or national parks, historical sites, or entertainment venues, would also be a valuable feature for guests looking to explore the surrounding area.

Summit Village Reviews
Lived here for several years until the constant lot rent increases made it unaffordable. The home we were sold was remodeled using cheap materials and shotty work, three years and the floors had fallen through due to the negligence of their maintenance staff and contractors leaving the bottom of the trailer exposed to the elements. We moved out as the home was in disrepair and we couldn't afford to stay the park manager offered to broker the home to which I agreed she said she hadn't done so before and gave me a partially filled out agreement. The only time she made an effort to sell was when she received a lot rent payment and even then all that was done was a Facebook post not even a for sale sign. I asked to speak to a regional manager and they refused! After I had enough of paying inflated lot rent their mortgage serving agent which is just UMH under a different name, they don't tell you this in closing, repossessed the trailer and sold it back to themselves. They then took me to court for lot rent for the time they had possession of the trailer and refused to negotiate because, it's not the park managers call, maybe if she spent more time at work and less on vacation she would know what's going on in her park, although I'm sure she does know her staff AKA her sons use the park equipment to do a side business that is when he's not sleeping in the truck behind the office.Overall steer clear of doing business with this location or any held by UMH they have no care or compassion for their residents. The homes are poorly maintained and you'll find the streets covered in snow and ice in the winter. The only time they will be considerate to you is when you have paid the ever increasing rent. If you do end up here make sure you document absolutely everything, you'll need it in the end.
Feb 06, 2025 · Jake HummelOur family have lived at Summit Village for over two years now and we love it out here. The management and maintenance workers are Johnny on the spot if something needs fixed. The grounds are well kept. They care about there the people that live out here. The area out here is so peaceful. The management go above and beyond to treat there tenants real good. And mowing is our responsibility but it doesn't take long to mow and weed or trim.
Jan 04, 2023 · Rosalia ShipbaughChanging this after living here almost 2 years. To be clear the people that work here are cool and awesome! The pricing that corporate has for TRAILER rent is outrageous. And they raised it almost $50. Real picky about mowing the grass and next to no yard and they wanna charge $750 a month? It's price gauging at its finest. Do better. Again the corporate greed is why I am giving this 1 star. The employees that work in my park are awesome. Trailers are decent but not $700 a month decent, house payments are less than this come on. - Update rent has been raised again almost 800/month for a trailer?? It is laughable at this point. Moving ASAP you can screw over someone else.
Sep 03, 2023 · Justus ElliottWe went to inquire about renting/buying and the person at the front desk knew absolutely nothing. Manager was on vacation. But she should have more information than what she did. And the prices she was quoting on what she did know was extremely high.
