When evaluating a potential long-term living situation, particularly within the category of "RV parks near me," understanding the environment of the community is paramount. Mobile home parks often foster a sense of community among residents, offering a more stable and less transient atmosphere compared to typical short-term RV campgrounds. While specific details about the landscaping, common areas, and overall aesthetic of Sun Lake Mobile Home Community are not extensively detailed online, such communities generally feature individual lots for homes or RVs, internal roadways for easy access, and possibly some shared amenities.
The services offered at Sun Lake Mobile Home Community are crucial for prospective residents to consider. Typically, in such communities, residents are responsible for establishing and managing their own utility connections, including electricity, water, and sewer. These services are usually billed separately by the utility providers. Waste management, such as trash and recycling, is often a service provided by the park management. However, a customer review mentioned "trash left for months staying out and blowing in every one's yard," indicating a potential inconsistency in this service. It is strongly recommended to inquire directly with the management about the specifics of waste disposal, utility connections, and any associated fees.
Features of Sun Lake Mobile Home Community may include on-site management, which serves as a primary point of contact for residents and handles community-related concerns. One positive review praised the "ladies at the front desk" for being "super nice and helpful," suggesting a positive aspect of the management team's interaction with residents. However, another review expressed significant concerns regarding the enforcement of community rules, stating, "They don't follow there own rules." This review also highlighted issues with infrastructure, such as "no security lights on several blocks that doesn't work," and a lack of responsiveness to maintenance needs, citing a "broken down porch" that remained unattended for six months. For those considering Sun Lake as one of their "RV parks near me" options, it is essential to seek clarity on the community's rules, security measures, and maintenance protocols.
Currently, there is no readily available promotional information for Sun Lake Mobile Home Community online. To learn about any special offers, discounts, or incentives for new residents, whether for mobile homes or RVs, it is advisable to contact the management directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiries should also include details about lot rental fees, security deposits, lease terms, and any specific regulations governing residency within the community.
Given the limited information and the contrasting nature of the customer reviews, a balanced and cautious approach is recommended for anyone considering Sun Lake Mobile Home Community. The positive feedback regarding the front desk suggests a potentially helpful administrative aspect. Conversely, the negative feedback raises significant concerns about community management, infrastructure maintenance, and adherence to rules. These are critical factors that prospective residents, especially those seeking "RV parks near me" for long-term stays, should thoroughly investigate.
For individuals specifically searching for "RV parks near me" with the intention of establishing a long-term residence, it is vital to ascertain whether Sun Lake Mobile Home Community accommodates RVs. Some mobile home communities do allocate specific sections or lots for RVs, offering necessary utility hookups and a more permanent living arrangement than typical short-term RV parks. If you are an RV owner looking for a long-term spot in San Angelo, you should directly inquire about the availability of RV lots, any size restrictions or regulations for RVs, and the specific amenities and costs associated with RV residency at Sun Lake Mobile Home Community.
In conclusion, Sun Lake Mobile Home Community in San Angelo, TX, presents a potential option for individuals seeking mobile home or long-term RV living within the local "RV parks near me" category. While positive interactions with the front desk staff have been reported, potential residents should carefully consider the concerns raised in other reviews regarding rule enforcement, maintenance, and overall community upkeep. Direct and thorough communication with the management is crucial to obtain accurate and current information about availability, services, features, and any promotional offerings. Visiting the community in person, if feasible, would provide a valuable opportunity to assess the environment and living conditions firsthand before making a decision. When searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term residence, comprehensive research and direct engagement with the property management are essential steps towards finding a suitable living situation.

Sun Lake Mobile Home Community Reviews
They don't follow there own rules. If I could I would give a zero. No security lights on several blocks that doesn't work. Trash left for months staying out and blowing in every one's yard. They hound you for what they demand and you get nothing in return. This broken down porch is still here after 6 months.

Feb 07, 2025 · Michelle FarriasWe got our rent to own home in March moved in to find a busted window still broken that was supposed to be fixed before we moved in, its now January and it still isn’t properly fixed. Our roof was supposed to be fixed before move in, still yet to happen. Our house in the warm months is in the 90’s and in the cold months its unbearably cold. Our floors started coming up a month into living here. None of the windows lock, a few leak when it rains, back door leaks as well. Bottom of kitchen sink leaks. Toilets aren’t properly installed. We have never been a single day late on rent but got an EVICTION notice because apparently the application fee didn’t go through when we had proof it had. We absolutely cannot wait to get out of here. On top of everything else there are so many loose dogs and ppl that have their yards filled with garbage. I would not recommend this place to anyone, we have not been comfortable in this home a single day we have lived here.
Jan 14, 2024 · Haley ChitwoodVery safe, clean, and pretty. That almost seems ironic to say for a trailer park, but the owner of this place has done an excellent job in making this a good place to live. It's to bad it so far out. Yet playgrounds, pools, fishing, and feeding the ducks make it a place kids can stay busy inside the fenced community.
Dec 18, 2019 · William KnightThere are alot of strat dogs running around which makes it hard for me to walk my dogs on a leash. Other than that, it's a quiet place with friendly neighbors.
