My family and I stayed at the Hudson Ranch Resort for a weekend in early October 2024. They were very welcoming (even to my dog!), and the area is beautiful! I was able to see and photograph many species of birds, insects, and reptiles while exploring the property and enjoyed some stunning landscapes. The surrounding Los Padres National Forest and Bitter Creek National Wildlife Refuge also offered amazing wildlife experiences such as California Condors and Desert Tarantulas! Definitely a cool spot to take in some nature! - A Birding Naturalist
