You can reach them at (801) 999-2103 or +1 801-999-2103 for inquiries and reservations. Based on recent customer reviews, Loop C provides a well-maintained environment with a friendly host, although potential visitors should be aware of the pricing for RV sites without hookups and the condition of some facilities.
The environment surrounding Strawberry Bay Campground Loop C is consistently praised as "beautiful" and conveniently "close to the water," suggesting easy access to potential lake or river activities associated with the Strawberry Bay area. This proximity likely offers scenic views and opportunities for fishing, boating, or simply enjoying the waterside. The fresh air and outdoors are highlighted even during a rainy weekend, indicating that the natural setting remains appealing regardless of the weather. The presence of a dedicated camp host contributes to maintaining the area's cleanliness. However, one reviewer noted disappointment with the condition of the picnic table pavilions, stating they were "covered in bird and bat poop," suggesting a potential lack of upkeep in certain areas.
The services at Strawberry Bay Campground Loop C include a friendly and effective camp host who is commended for "doing a great job keeping the area and restrooms clean." This indicates a commitment to hygiene and visitor comfort. The campground offers RV sites, although it's important to note that there are "no hookups" available at these sites. This means RV campers will need to be self-sufficient in terms of water, electricity, and waste disposal. The campground enforces a "10 pm to 6 am quiet time" with a strict rule of "no generators running" during these hours, which promotes a peaceful and quiet atmosphere for all campers. Potable water and dump stations may be available elsewhere in the Strawberry Bay recreation area, but this would need to be confirmed with the campground management. The availability of restrooms is a significant convenience for all campers, and their cleanliness is a noted positive aspect.
Strawberry Bay Campground Loop C boasts several features that may appeal to those looking for 'camping near me'. Its beautiful location close to the water is a primary draw, offering scenic views and easy access to water-related activities. The presence of a helpful and dedicated camp host enhances the overall camping experience. The enforced quiet hours contribute to a restful night's sleep. While primarily catering to dry RV camping, the campground also accommodates tent campers who appreciate the natural setting and quiet environment. The clean restrooms are a significant convenience. However, potential downsides include the lack of hookups for RVs and the reported poor condition of the picnic table pavilions due to bird and bat droppings. Another feature to be aware of is the strict enforcement of the checkout time, particularly towards the end of the camping season.
Regarding promotional information, the only pricing detail provided is "$39 a night for RV site." It's crucial to remember that this price is for a site with no hookups. Tent site pricing, if available, is not mentioned. Potential campers should inquire about any additional fees, such as park entrance fees or fees for amenities like dump stations (if located outside Loop C). There is no mention of any specific promotions, discounts for longer stays, or seasonal offers in the provided reviews. It is recommended to contact the campground directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about current pricing for all types of sites and any available promotions.
One reviewer expressed the opinion that the campground was "a little expensive" for what it offered, particularly considering the lack of hookups. This suggests that while the location and cleanliness are appreciated, the value proposition might be a consideration for some campers. It would be wise for prospective visitors to compare the pricing with other 'camping near me' options in the area, taking into account the amenities provided.
The disappointment expressed regarding the condition of the picnic table pavilions is a notable drawback. Picnic tables are a fundamental amenity at most campgrounds, and their being unusable due to animal waste can significantly impact the camping experience, especially for meal preparation and enjoying the outdoors at the campsite. This suggests a need for improved maintenance of these facilities.
The comment about being "stickler’s about being on time with the check out" at the end of the year indicates that campers should be prepared to adhere strictly to the posted checkout time, particularly as the season winds down. While adhering to schedules is generally expected, the tone of the review suggests a lack of flexibility, which might be a consideration for some visitors.
In conclusion, Strawberry Bay Campground Loop C offers a beautiful waterside location in Utah with a friendly and helpful camp host who maintains clean restrooms. It caters to both RV campers (without hookups) and tent campers seeking a quiet environment with enforced quiet hours. However, potential visitors should be aware of the $39 per night price for RV sites (without hookups), the reported poor condition of the picnic table pavilions, and the strict enforcement of checkout times, especially later in the season. It is recommended to contact the campground directly for the most up-to-date pricing information for all site types and to inquire about the maintenance of all facilities to ensure it meets your expectations for your 'camping near me' experience.

Beautiful spot close to the water. The camp host was so nice, and she did a great job keeping the area and restrooms clean. It was a rainy weekend but we enjoyed the fresh air and outdoors. $39 a night for RV site. There are no hookups, and there is a 10pm to 6am quiet time, no generators running.

Sep 08, 2024 · Brandon KearleyThis is a mixed review. The lake and surrounding area are beautiful! The road in the campground is terrible and full of deep potholes, and has been that way for years! The fish cleaning stations have been non- functional for several years. The prices have been raised and the camp host is diligent about getting any and all extra fees. They need to use this money to make repairs! On the plus side, it is peaceful and beautiful. Sites are large and fresh water is plentiful, no hookups! Boat launch area needs new roads too. We love Strawberry but would like to see some upkeep!
Jun 03, 2024 · M and R KingeryBeautiful in every level. Fishing is great. The campsites are all awesome this time of year.
Oct 01, 2022 · dorothy brynerThis particular area has very young trees so shade was only found under the picnic pavilion. Mostly prairie grass, prairie dogs and chipmunks. The restrooms are clean with running water. The lake is amazing. Plenty of fish.
