Sun Meadows Introduce
Sun Meadows is a mobile home park situated at 27250 Murrieta Rd, Sun City, CA 92586, USA. Located in the Sun City area of California, this park offers a residential setting for mobile home owners and may potentially accommodate recreational vehicles for longer-term stays. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Sun City vicinity, Sun Meadows presents a community environment, although specific amenities and policies regarding RVs should be verified directly with the park management at (951) 672-3549 or +1 951-672-3549.
Based on the available customer reviews, it's important for prospective residents and RV guests to consider several aspects of Sun Meadows. One review expresses significant dissatisfaction with the office management, stating, "Melinda who runs the office should be fired! Every encounter with her is unpleasant and I think she enjoys bossing around the elderly." This feedback raises concerns about the professionalism and interpersonal skills of the office staff, which could impact the overall experience of living or staying at Sun Meadows.
The same review also highlights issues related to parking, particularly for elderly residents with mobility challenges. It mentions the lack of accessible handicapped parking and criticizes the practice of leaving notes threatening to tow vehicles parked on the street during the day. The reviewer suggests that resources might be better allocated to more "helpful" purposes. This indicates potential challenges with parking regulations and accessibility within the park.
Another resident who has been at Sun Meadows for four months provides a more balanced perspective. They note that the space rent is "a little steep at $923 per mo." However, they also point out that "utilities are very cheap so it kind of evens out a little." This suggests that while the base rent might be higher than desired, the lower utility costs could partially offset this expense, making the overall cost of living more reasonable for some.
This resident also praises the community atmosphere, stating, "everybody is very nice and I like living here." This positive feedback aligns with the sentiment in other mobile home park reviews that often highlight the neighborly aspect of such communities. A friendly and welcoming environment can significantly contribute to the quality of life for residents and potentially for longer-term RV guests as well.
However, the second reviewer expresses disappointment with the park's amenities, specifically the gym and the pool. Regarding the gym, they describe it as "pretty pitiful" and suggest that a better facility would be appreciated given the rent price. This indicates that the fitness amenities might be lacking or outdated.
The issue with the pool appears to be more significant for this resident. They mention that the pool is only heated for a limited period, "for more than 5 months." They moved in during October when the weather was still warm (90 degrees outside) but found the pool to be "freezing!" The reviewer argues that "rent should go down when amenities are not useable!" This suggests a potential dissatisfaction with the limited usability of the pool due to the lack of heating during colder months, which can be a significant drawback for residents who enjoy swimming.
Considering these reviews, prospective residents and individuals looking for "RV parks near me" for an extended stay at Sun Meadows should inquire specifically about the following:
- The current space rent for mobile homes and any potential for future increases.
- The availability and rental rates for RV spaces, including the length of stay permitted.
- The utility costs for both mobile home residents and RV guests.
- The condition and accessibility of parking, including any designated handicapped parking areas and street parking policies.
- The facilities and equipment available in the gym.
- The heating schedule for the pool and its usability throughout the year.
- The management's responsiveness to resident concerns and their overall communication style.
It would also be beneficial to inquire about any community activities or social events that might be organized within Sun Meadows, as this can contribute to the overall sense of community that one resident found appealing.
For those specifically searching for "RV parks near me," it is crucial to determine if Sun Meadows accommodates RVs at all. Some mobile home parks do not permit RVs, or they may only allow them under very specific conditions or for short periods. If RVs are allowed for longer stays, it is essential to understand the size limitations, hookup availability (water, electricity, sewer), and any specific rules or regulations that apply to RV guests.
Given the mixed feedback regarding the management and amenities, a personal visit to Sun Meadows could be highly informative for prospective residents or long-term RV guests. Observing the park's environment, the condition of the facilities, and potentially speaking with current residents (if appropriate and with their consent) could provide a more comprehensive understanding of what it is like to live or stay there.
In conclusion, Sun Meadows in Sun City, CA, is a mobile home park that may offer long-term living options for mobile home owners and potentially extended stays for RVs. While one resident praises the friendly community, reviews also raise concerns about the office management, parking, and the limited usability of certain amenities like the gym and the pool's heating schedule. For local users seeking "RV parks near me" or considering moving their mobile home to Sun Meadows, thorough investigation and direct communication with the park management are essential to make an informed decision. Understanding the full costs, the available amenities for both mobile homes and RVs, and the community's regulations will be crucial in determining if Sun Meadows meets individual needs and expectations.

Sun Meadows Reviews
Melinda who runs the office should be fired! Every encounter with her is unpleasant and I think she enjoys bossing around the elderly. You should be able to park on the street during the day considering there isn’t any accessible handicapped parking for elderly people! Leaving notes threatening to “tow” your vehicle away is unacceptable. They could use the money for other “helpful” purposes.
Apr 28, 2025 · Charlene CI have been here for 4 months. my space rent is what I think is a little steep at $923 per mo. utilities are very cheap so it kind of evens out a little. everybody is very nice and I like living here. if I could have more for the rent price it would be a better gym, it's pretty pitiful, and mainly, a pool that is heated for more than 5 months. moved here in Oct 24 and it was 90 outside and the pool was freezing! it looked good but rent should go down when amenities are not useable!

Jun 12, 2024 · Mr. Charles J. NassThis is a 55 yrs. and over Senior Mobile Home Park its maintained very nicely, seems to be a very nice and quiet comfortable area. Family have lived here for some years now, are so happy, pleased with the Management and fellow neighbors, or should I say Friends! They offer dance classes, have many other events, fun outings throughout the year. They also have an Annual Yard Sale in the beginning of May and many of the residents participate including my family, it seeems to be very eventful, yet the people that come to shop mostly aren't residents and enjoy seeing all the goodies, some handmade crafts, keepsakes as it just depends on what you are looking for, so come and checkout Sun Meadows and enjoy all they have to offer if you choose to be a resident, if not come out to the Annual Yard Sale this May and see what treasures are waiting for you!
