Sunbelt Mobile Homes

I honestly would not recommend renting here. If you don't mind raw sewage from other trailers dumped in your yard, your children being exposed to rats, rat feces raw sewage, roaches, and owners that have no respect for their tenants then by all means, move in. Turning electricity off on a tenant that has children when its in the 30's outside is against the law. Entering a persons trailer while they are paying rent on it without permission is against the law. Seriously folks, is this how you want your family to live?? This mobile home park needs to be shut down for serious code violations.. The tenants deserve better. - Norman Ravellette

Sunbelt Mobile Homes Introduce

For individuals exploring "RV parks near me" as a potential pathway to finding a more permanent residence in Longview, Texas, mobile home communities like Sunbelt Mobile Homes, located at 1203 TX-31, also warrant consideration. However, it is crucial to approach such options with careful consideration, especially given the information available from resident reviews, which in the case of Sunbelt Mobile Homes, present a starkly divided perspective on the living conditions and management.

One particularly concerning review paints a dire picture of the living environment at Sunbelt Mobile Homes. This reviewer strongly advises against renting in the community, citing extremely serious allegations. These include claims of raw sewage from other trailers being dumped in residents' yards, the presence of rats and rat feces, raw sewage exposure, and roach infestations, suggesting potentially severe sanitation issues. Furthermore, this reviewer accuses the owners of lacking respect for their tenants and mentions alleged illegal actions such as turning off a tenant's electricity while they had children and the temperature was in the 30s, and entering a tenant's trailer without permission while rent was being paid. The reviewer concludes by stating that the mobile home park needs to be shut down due to "serious code violations" and that the tenants deserve better living conditions.

In stark contrast, another reviewer offers a more positive, albeit observational, viewpoint. This individual mentions having heard negative reports about Sunbelt Mobile Homes but states that their personal experiences visiting the park suggest otherwise. They report consistently seeing cleaning and maintenance efforts underway, indicating an attempt to maintain the property and provide a decent living environment for residents. This reviewer specifically praises the "super sweet" maintenance man. Based on these observations, this reviewer advises against solely relying on hearsay and suggests that people should "go see for yourself" to form their own opinion.

The drastically different accounts presented in these two reviews highlight the complexity of assessing Sunbelt Mobile Homes as a potential long-term residence. The extremely serious allegations in the negative review regarding sanitation, pest infestations, and alleged illegal actions by the owners cannot be ignored. These claims, if accurate, would indicate significant issues impacting the health, safety, and legal rights of tenants. Potential residents must carefully consider the gravity of these accusations.

On the other hand, the positive, observational review suggests that efforts are being made to maintain the property, and the positive mention of the maintenance staff could indicate a responsive approach to some aspects of upkeep. This perspective serves as a reminder that individual experiences can vary, and perceptions based on secondhand information may not always reflect the current reality. The advice to visit the property personally is a prudent one for anyone considering living in any mobile home community.

For individuals navigating the "RV parks near me" category in search of a longer-term housing solution and encountering Sunbelt Mobile Homes, a thorough and cautious approach is essential. Given the severity of the allegations in one review, it would be highly advisable to conduct a personal visit to the property to assess the current conditions firsthand. During such a visit, potential residents should pay close attention to the overall cleanliness of the community, the state of the infrastructure, and any visible signs of the issues raised in the negative review, such as pest problems or sanitation concerns. If possible, speaking with current residents could provide valuable insights into their experiences with the management and the living environment.

It would also be prudent to inquire directly with the management about their policies regarding maintenance, pest control, and tenant rights. Understanding their response to the serious allegations raised in the negative review would be crucial in evaluating their commitment to providing a safe and habitable living environment. While the positive observation about ongoing maintenance efforts and a friendly maintenance worker is encouraging, it needs to be balanced against the very serious concerns raised by another resident. Ultimately, deciding whether Sunbelt Mobile Homes is a suitable long-term residence requires a comprehensive assessment based on all available information, including the strongly contrasting reviews and a personal evaluation of the property and management.
