Sunshine Village Introduce
When you're looking for "rv parks near me" in the Montgomery, Alabama area, Sunshine Village, located at By-Pass, 449 N Eastern Blvd, Montgomery, AL 36117, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. You can reach them at (334) 272-8776 or +1 334-272-8776 for inquiries about availability and other details. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Sunshine Village based on the information available in recent customer reviews.
The available reviews for Sunshine Village present a stark contrast between the experiences with management and the perception of the community's residents. One reviewer expressed significant negative feelings towards the management, describing them as "greedy monsters" who would allegedly tow residents' cars from in front of their homes. This is a serious accusation that suggests potential issues with parking policies and enforcement within the community. The same reviewer also claimed that the management would "up the rent every 3 months with no additional benefits," indicating concerns about frequent and potentially unjustified rent increases, which can create financial instability for residents. Furthermore, this review highlighted serious security concerns, stating that "security is so bad" and even alleging that "Security causes more distress in the community." As an example, the reviewer mentioned an incident where "over 50 cars got broken into and smashed windows" and claimed that security did nothing in response. These are alarming allegations that raise significant questions about the safety and security measures in place at Sunshine Village.
In contrast, another reviewer, who did not live in Sunshine Village but delivered mail there for approximately eight years, offered a different perspective, particularly regarding the residents. While acknowledging that they did not have firsthand experience living in the park, they stated, "...I will say there are very good people living there." This suggests a positive community atmosphere among the residents themselves, which can be an important factor for those seeking a sense of belonging and neighborliness. The reviewer also commented on the negative portrayal of mobile home residents in American media, implying that their experience at Sunshine Village contradicted these stereotypes and that they "thoroughly enjoyed getting to know some of the people who live in Sunshine Village." This highlights a potential disconnect between the management's practices, as perceived by one reviewer, and the quality of the community formed by the residents.
Considering the platform category "rv parks near me," these contrasting reviews offer important points for potential RVers to consider. The serious allegations about the management's greed, frequent rent increases, and poor security are significant red flags that could impact the experience of both short-term and long-term RV guests. Issues with towing policies could affect RV parking, and concerns about overall security could make guests feel unsafe. On the other hand, the positive note about friendly residents might suggest a welcoming community for visitors, although the management's role in fostering a positive environment is crucial.
The lack of specific information about the environment, services, and features of Sunshine Village makes a comprehensive evaluation challenging. Typically, RV parks offer amenities such as hookups for water, electricity, and sewer, as well as communal facilities like restrooms, showers, laundry, and possibly recreational areas. Mobile home parks might also offer these amenities, along with designated lot sizes and community spaces. The available reviews do not provide details on these aspects for Sunshine Village. Therefore, potential RVers would need to inquire directly about the availability and quality of these facilities.
The negative review's mention of rent increases every three months suggests a potentially unstable and costly situation for long-term residents, whether in mobile homes or extended-stay RVs. This policy, if accurate, could deter those seeking a predictable and affordable living situation. The serious allegations about the lack of security and the management's inaction in the face of criminal activity are also major concerns that could outweigh any potential benefits of the location or community atmosphere.
The positive comment about the residents being "very good people" is a valuable piece of information, as a friendly and supportive community can significantly enhance the living experience. However, the negative experiences reported with the management and security could overshadow this positive aspect for many potential residents or visitors.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available for Sunshine Village based on the provided data. Therefore, we cannot comment on any special offers, discounts, or rates for RV stays or mobile home rentals. Individuals interested in pricing and reservations would need to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers.
In summary, Sunshine Village in Montgomery, Alabama, presents a concerning picture based on one of the available reviews, which alleges greedy management practices, frequent rent increases, and poor security. While another reviewer, who was a mail carrier for the community, noted the friendliness of the residents, the serious allegations regarding management and security cannot be ignored by those searching for "rv parks near me" or considering long-term residency.
For local users in the Montgomery area considering Sunshine Village, it is crucial to weigh the potential for a friendly community against the significant negative feedback regarding the management and security. Potential RVers and mobile home residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including contacting the park management directly to address the concerns raised in the reviews and to inquire about current policies, security measures, amenities, and rental rates. It would also be beneficial to seek out additional reviews or testimonials from other sources to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of the living experience at Sunshine Village.
Given the serious nature of the allegations in one of the reviews, including claims of unfair towing practices, frequent rent hikes, and inadequate security, potential users should proceed with extreme caution. Ensuring a safe and stable living environment is paramount, and the reported issues at Sunshine Village raise significant doubts in these areas.
In conclusion, while Sunshine Village in Montgomery, AL, may have a positive aspect in terms of its residents, the serious allegations concerning the management's practices and the lack of security are critical factors that potential RVers and mobile home residents must carefully consider. Further investigation and direct communication with the park management are strongly recommended to clarify these concerns before making any decisions about staying at or moving into Sunshine Village when searching for "rv parks near me."

Dec 30, 2023 · Elidiana OrtizLong, deep sigh... how can I review a trailer park when I do not live there!? I did deliver their mail for about 8 years and I will say there are very good people living there. It is horrific how American movies and television portray people who live in mobile homes. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know some of the people who live in Sunshine Village.
Apr 21, 2019 · GerardThis used to be a decent park bit since has come down a notch or two. I looked out there for a place to rent only to find that you can onky own your mobile home and rent the lots but no lots available ever. I have friends that live out there and there home has been broken into with no help from the park management. This is a little upsetting because the park manager has always seemed to be a very decent lady. The park is clean but has some older homes which shows you that they must be doing something right. Overall its just an ok place. Your lucky if you get in so if you do you may want to count on staying.
Jun 16, 2019 · Nikki JSecure and absolutely Clean area. With Speed Bumps for Safely issues. The guy with the negative adituide about the Manager, ...................well she has to be strick with everyone, because if she didn't, the place would be a dump. Most people don't want to live in a dump.Remember that this is a Mobile home Park.......not a Resort.Families have kids,,...and you know that kids will be kids. This place is truly cleaner that most.As far as Security goes,I've noticed security cameras, and local Police patrolling the area.....Speed Bumps are in place for Safety. ...(grown-ups, will be kids at times). .......The location of the Park gives you a fairly short drive for basically any type of Shopping, or Dinning Out..
Nov 29, 2019 · Frank Rivers (NIGHTMOVES)Ownership changed a few years ago and the once great lot prices have increased 3 times. Management has stayed the same from previous ownership and the manager cares deeply about the park and its residents. Five stars under previous ownership, increased prices cost a star
