When considering a location for your RV or as a potential mobile home residence, it's essential to gather information from various sources, including online reviews from current or former residents. These reviews can offer contrasting perspectives on the living experience within the park. Sutter Street Mobile Home Park has received feedback that presents both challenges and positive aspects.
One reviewer expressed several significant concerns about Sutter Street Mobile Home Park. They described the "speed bumps" as "ridiculous" and alleged that the park's fire extinguisher was not "up to code," suggesting potential safety violations in other areas as well. This reviewer also reported a delayed response from management regarding a water pressure issue that took "months to acknowledge." They advised against using the laundry facilities and noted the deteriorating pavement with "potholes." Furthermore, they criticized the limited parking, mentioning only "One handicapped parking spot and only 4 visitor parking spots for the entire park!" This reviewer concluded that the park is "Very poorly managed" and suggested that "There are less costly priced parks in the area that are better kept," stating they would move their unit if it weren't so old.
In contrast, another reviewer who has lived in Sutter Street Mobile Home Park for over three years offered a much more positive assessment. They highlighted the park's "unbelievably quiet" atmosphere and praised the "new manager Cindy" for being "very attentive and responsive." This reviewer also noted a strong sense of community, stating, "The neighbors in this park look out for each other." They commended "Terry" for his excellent ground maintenance, even mentioning small acts of kindness like returning blown-away garden flags. This positive review paints a picture of a peaceful community with a caring and responsive management and well-maintained grounds.
These contrasting reviews suggest a potential shift in the park's management and overall environment. The negative review points to past issues with infrastructure, management responsiveness, and amenities, while the positive review indicates recent improvements, particularly with the new manager and the sense of community. When considering Sutter Street Mobile Home Park as one of your "RV parks near me," it is crucial to weigh these different perspectives and inquire about the current state of the park.
For those specifically seeking "RV parks near me," the information provided does not explicitly state whether Sutter Street Mobile Home Park accommodates RVs. Therefore, your first step should be to contact the management to inquire about the availability of RV spaces, the size and type of these spaces, and the utility hookups provided (e.g., water, electricity, sewer). Understanding the electrical amperage available is particularly important for RV users.
If RVs are permitted, it would be prudent to ask about the current condition of the infrastructure, including the roads and laundry facilities, in light of the negative review. You should also inquire about the water pressure issues and whether they have been resolved. Parking arrangements for RVs and visitors would also be an important consideration, especially given the reported limited visitor parking.
The positive review's emphasis on the quiet atmosphere and the attentive new manager could be significant advantages for RVers seeking a peaceful and well-managed place to stay. The sense of community and the care for the grounds also contribute to a positive living experience.
For those considering long-term residency in either a mobile home or an RV, it would be beneficial to speak with the new manager, Cindy, to understand her approach to park maintenance, rule enforcement, and addressing resident concerns. The positive reviewer's experience suggests a more responsive and caring management style.
When you are in the process of looking for "RV parks near me," it's always a good idea to have a list of questions based on your priorities. For Sutter Street Mobile Home Park, these questions might include the current status of infrastructure issues (roads, laundry, water pressure), parking availability for RVs and visitors, the amenities offered to RV guests, the rules and regulations of the park, and the management's responsiveness to resident concerns.
The Yuba City, CA, area offers various amenities and attractions. Its location provides access to shopping, dining, and essential services. The quiet atmosphere reported by one reviewer could be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful retreat while still being close to urban conveniences.
In conclusion, Sutter Street Mobile Home Park in Yuba City, CA, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. While past issues with infrastructure and management have been reported, a more recent review highlights a quiet environment, attentive new management, and a strong sense of community. Prospective residents, especially those seeking "RV parks near me," should contact the park directly to inquire about RV accommodations, the current condition of the park, and the management's policies to determine if it meets their needs for a comfortable and positive living experience.

Sutter Street Mobile Home Park Reviews
The speed bumps are ridiculous. They aren't up to code on their fire extinguisher... probably not the only area they are violating codes. It took management months to acknowledge there is a water pressure issue. Don't use the laundry here! Pavement is coming apart so there are potholes. One handicapped parking spot and only 4 visitor parking spots for the entire park! Very poorly managed. There are less costly priced parks in the area that are better kept. If my unit wasn't so old I'd move it out.
Mar 09, 2018 · A CassisiI have lived here for over 3 years. It is unbelievably quiet. We have a new manager Cindy who is very attentive and responsive. The neighbors in this park look out for each other. Terry is awesome at maintaining the grounds. Even something as small as a garden flag that blows away is returned to your doorstep.
May 14, 2019 · Cynthia PeshekI've lived here for more than 10 years, and pretty happy for as it's very quiet and friendly environment. Management is the best and maintenance man is really helpful to maintain the park clean. The access to the mall, major stores and to Sacramento are very good.
May 01, 2019 · Sachie GanekoI am a current resident. I love this place, its quiet, clean and well maintained. The current manager is professional, courteous and cares for people. I've had some medical issues that has interfered with work, the management team have been gracious in allowing me to get back on track. I highly recommend this park under the current management team.
May 13, 2019 · Tom MicThis community is well kept and secure and a great location.Nice and quiet while there's so much within walking distance and downtown is a short stroll away. There's a clean, well lit secure laundry and the area is watched over by the residents who challenge any unknown or unfamiliar persons and situations making this an ideal place for retirees and families.
