Based on the customer reviews, the environment of Tall Firs Mobile Home & RV Park appears to be generally positive, with a notable emphasis on convenience and a sense of community. One reviewer mentions that their "very good friends" live there and find it "pretty nice" and "quiet most of the time." This suggests a peaceful atmosphere within the park, contributing to a comfortable living environment for residents. The reviewer also praises the manager as being "very nice," which aligns with the positive feedback regarding management found in another review, where the manager, while perceived as "a bit heartless" in a specific difficult situation, might generally be approachable and helpful in day-to-day interactions.
The location of Tall Firs Mobile Home & RV Park is highlighted as a significant advantage. One reviewer notes its close proximity to a "veriety of shopping centers," a cinema, and "plenty of places to eat." This accessibility to essential amenities and entertainment options enhances the quality of life for residents, providing convenience for daily needs and leisure activities. The park's location on SE Division Street also likely offers access to public transportation, further adding to its convenience for navigating the Portland metropolitan area.
The first review, while centered around a sad event, also offers glimpses into the community. The reviewer observed "a few sweetly decorated homes" and spoke with "two of his kind neighbors," suggesting a degree of neighborly interaction and a sense of pride in the appearance of individual homes within the park. This hints at a community where residents care about their living spaces and interact with each other.
Regarding services and features, the reviews provide some indirect information. The fact that it's a "Mobile Home & RV Park" suggests the provision of essential utilities for both types of dwellings. For RV residents, this would typically include electrical, water, and sewage hookups. However, the specifics of these services, such as amperage of electrical connections or the availability of a dump station, are not detailed in the reviews. Potential RV residents should inquire about these crucial aspects when contacting the park. Similarly, information about other common RV park amenities like laundry facilities, restrooms, or recreational areas (e.g., a clubhouse or green spaces) is not available in the provided text and would need to be obtained directly from the management.
The mention of "space rent is a good price as well" in one review is a significant piece of information regarding the financial aspect of living at Tall Firs Mobile Home & RV Park. This suggests that the cost of residing in the park is perceived as reasonable by at least one resident. However, specific pricing details for both mobile home lots and RV spaces would need to be confirmed with the management, as rates can vary based on lot size, location within the park, and the duration of stay.
Promotional information for Tall Firs Mobile Home & RV Park is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews. Tall Firs Mobile Home & RV Park Reviews
A friend of a friend lived there. He suffered a long illness and then died there. It was sad. But I saw a few sweetly decorated homes there and spoke with two of his kind neighbors. The management came off a bit heartless, they were impatient with having his belongings removed and my friend was packing while greiving. But, he may not have been a sympathetic tenant in life.
Mar 10, 2020 · Aurora EklundFirst is my very good friends live there, it's pretty nice. Quiet most of time, the manager is very nice as well. May 28, 2019 · Terri CarsonI'm trying to find a place to stay with my 1995 trailer (which is well kept looks nice) doesn't matter how well it's been taken care of . I really wanted to live there ,so quite I have anxiety disorder and panic easily. I would have been happy there. But my trailer was not new enough ! Its just not fair to those of us who have nice looking trailers to be turned away because of age. 30ft. komfort great condition! My boyfriend just passed , Nobody will except my trailer nobody has even asked to see a picture ! I'm lost,😞🙆
Feb 04, 2020 · Debbie A Miller AnnieI was staying here with a few friends of mine and had to cope with till the time we left living at their mobile home park many obnoxious and quite unnecessary pet peeves of not only the management but of course from some of the other residents or at least their disrespectful guests. Hard not to wanna get outta that place when usually where guests are allowed to park along the street is usually taken by whatever ghetto broke down looking cars that for the most part didn't run or were close to seeing their last legs on that note, while the rest must have been abandoned stolen cars that seemed to be frequently dropped there till they were finally green tagged than eventually taken away to only than get replaced by yet another nuisance vehicle. Inside the park you were given a very long and ridiculous list of rules and guidelines that almost no actual resident or their guest had ever seemed to follow. The spaces were small, the rent and utilities were unfairly high in expense and all in all I'm just happier than hell I nor will those I know will ever be living or even much visiting that garbage dump anytime soon. Lol.
Mar 19, 2018 · Jenna Witham*Updated on 6/28/2022*After a homeless camp established residence on 157th which runs parallel to Tall Firs I seriously considered lowering my rating, however, just recently after a feature story on the local news that included the manager and some of the residents explaining to the reporter that the police and city were doing little to nothing to address the situation. The camp continued to expand for a time. However, within days of the report airing, the city finally took action and the camp and residents within were relocated, to where I cannot say, but Central City Concern played a role in that and the cleanup afterwards. Now I can say that things are, for the most part, back to normal due to the team effort of the residents and the management. Kudos to all involved! 👍🏻👍🏻*Updated on 7/28/2021*Still making improvements, though I'd say it's heading in a positive direction. A change in management occurred not too long ago and seems to have had a positive effect this far. However, it is located in Southeast Portland neighborhood that I can only describe as being a little rough around the edges. Comparetively speaking though, I'd say it's a fairly mellow atmosphere once you're on the property and off of Division Street. The management lives on site year round should you ever have need, and the park's residents, at least from my experiences, seem to be a very diverse, respectful, kind and courteous group of citizens that look out for one another, which is the way it should be. I'm raising my score from 3 stars to 4 due to the improvements I've witnessed over the last couple of years, and if it remains an affordable place to live while continuing to contribute to the improvement of not only the park's liveability and beautification, but also to the neighborhood as a whole, then I see no reason why Tall Firs shouldn't get that fifth star in another year or two's time, keep up the good work! 👍🏻 👍🏻
