Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals and families seeking long-term residential options, particularly those exploring "rv parks near me" as a broader category of housing solutions, Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park located in Tallassee, Alabama, presents a residential community offering mobile home rentals. Situated on Lakewater Dr, Tallassee, AL 36078, USA, and reachable by phone at (479) 644-8268 or +1 479-644-8268, this park has received mixed reviews regarding the quality of living and management responsiveness. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the environment, services (as implied by the reviews), features, and crucial considerations based on the available customer feedback for those considering Tallassee Place as a potential residence.
Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park is presented as a place where individuals can rent mobile homes for longer-term living. One positive review highlights a generally favorable experience, noting that the park management is "professional, informative, reasonable, and responds quickly to any concerns." This suggests that, at least for some residents, the management is proactive and attentive to tenant needs. The same reviewer also praised the park's cleanliness, stating it is "very clean and well taken care of." Furthermore, they found the 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom unit they rented to be "the perfect size" and in "good condition" with "no complaints" during their stay.
However, a contrasting negative review paints a different picture of the park under the current ownership. This reviewer, whose sister lived in the park for a short time, claims that the "current owner doesn't care for their tenants at all." The specific trailer rented by their sister is described as "so nasty!" with significant maintenance issues, including "No AC," a front door that "didn't even shut," and a hot water heater that went out and was allegedly not repaired. Additionally, the unit reportedly "smelled awful." This feedback raises serious concerns about the condition of some rental units and the responsiveness of the management to critical maintenance needs.
Environment and Location:
The address on Lakewater Dr suggests a location that might be near a body of water, potentially offering a pleasant environment. However, the reviews themselves do not provide specific details about the natural surroundings, landscaping within the park, or the immediate neighborhood. The cleanliness of the park, as mentioned in the positive review, indicates that at least some effort is made to maintain the grounds, contributing to a more agreeable living environment for residents.
Tallassee, Alabama, is a small city located in the east-central part of the state, situated on the Tallapoosa River. Living in Tallassee offers a small-town atmosphere with access to local amenities and services. The proximity to Lakewater Dr might suggest recreational opportunities related to the water, although this is speculative based solely on the street name.
The absence of comments regarding noise levels, security, or the overall community atmosphere makes it difficult to assess these aspects of living at Tallassee Place. Potential residents would need to inquire specifically about these factors.
Services and Amenities:
As a mobile home park, Tallassee Place likely provides basic infrastructure for residents, such as connections for utilities (water, sewer, electricity) to the individual mobile home lots. However, the reviews do not explicitly confirm these services or mention any additional community amenities that might be available within the park, such as laundry facilities, recreational areas, or community buildings.
The stark contrast in the reviews regarding management responsiveness is a critical point related to services. While one resident experienced professional and quick responses to concerns, another reported a complete lack of care for tenants and failure to address essential maintenance issues like a broken hot water heater and a malfunctioning front door. This inconsistency suggests that the quality of service might vary significantly depending on the specific situation or unit.
The positive review mentioning a well-maintained park implies that general upkeep of the common areas is a service provided by the management. However, the negative review's description of a "nasty" rental unit indicates that the condition of individual homes might not be consistently maintained or adequately addressed by the management.
Features and Highlights (Based on Positive Review):
- Professional and Responsive Management: For some residents, the management is communicative, reasonable, and acts promptly on concerns.
- Clean and Well-Kept Park: The overall cleanliness of the park grounds is a positive aspect.
- Suitable Rental Units: At least some rental units are of a good size and in good condition, meeting the needs of residents.
Features and Concerns (Based on Negative Review):
- Lack of Tenant Care (Current Owner): Allegations of the current owner being unresponsive and uncaring towards tenants.
- Poor Condition of Some Rental Units: Instances of "nasty" trailers with significant maintenance issues like no AC, malfunctioning doors, and broken hot water heaters that are not addressed.
- Potential for Unpleasant Living Conditions: Reports of foul odors in rental units.
Promotional Information (Objective Interpretation):
Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park in Tallassee, Alabama, offers mobile home rentals within a residential community setting. According to one resident, the park management is professional, informative, reasonable, and responsive to concerns, and the park itself is clean and well-maintained. Some rental units may offer comfortable living spaces in good condition.
However, potential residents should be aware that other feedback suggests significant issues with tenant care and the condition of some rental units under the current ownership. Reports of unaddressed maintenance problems, such as lack of air conditioning, malfunctioning doors, and broken hot water heaters, along with unpleasant living conditions in some trailers, indicate a potential for negative experiences.
Individuals considering Tallassee Place as a long-term residence should thoroughly investigate the current conditions of available rental units, inquire extensively about the management's policies and responsiveness to maintenance requests, and perhaps seek feedback from multiple current residents to gain a balanced understanding of the living experience at the park. The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of due diligence before committing to a lease.
Conclusion:
Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park in Tallassee, Alabama, presents a mixed picture for potential residents seeking long-term housing within a mobile home community. While one review praises the professional and responsive management and the clean environment, along with satisfactory rental unit conditions, another review raises serious concerns about a lack of tenant care and the poor state of at least one rental unit. This stark contrast in experiences underscores the need for prospective tenants to conduct thorough research and inspections before making a decision. It is crucial to assess the current condition of any potential rental home, understand the management's policies regarding maintenance and tenant relations, and, if possible, gather insights from multiple current residents to form a comprehensive and informed opinion about the quality of living at Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park.

Tallassee Place Mobile Home Park Reviews
Tallassee Place has been a great place to live during my stay. The park management is professional, informative, reasonable and responds quickly to any concerns. The park is very clean and well taken care of. The 2bed 2bath I rented was the perfect size for my daughter and I. Everything was in good condition I had no complaints.
Nov 28, 2021 · Diona HallSister lived here for a shot time... current owner doesn't care for their tenants at all. The trailer she rented was so nasty! No AC, the front door didn't even shut, her hot water heater went out and they wouldn't fix it plus it smelled awful!
