When evaluating potential long-term living situations, especially in mobile home parks or RV parks that accommodate extended stays, it's crucial to gather as much information as possible. This includes understanding the physical environment of the park, the services and amenities offered to residents, any specific features, and carefully considering feedback from current residents to gain a balanced perspective.
Based on its address in Troy, New York, Terrace Haven Community is situated in a city with a rich history and urbanized environment within the Capital District region. Troy is located along the Hudson River and offers a mix of residential, commercial, and industrial areas. The specific environment within Terrace Haven Community itself, such as landscaping, lot sizes, and the overall layout, would require direct inquiry or a visit to ascertain. However, the positive reviews highlight aspects of the park's environment, noting that the community is "well-maintained," with "common area lawns mowed regularly" and "beautiful flowers." This suggests an effort to create an aesthetically pleasing living environment.
The positive reviews also provide insights into the services offered at Terrace Haven Community. Residents appreciate the regular maintenance, including winter services such as "roads are plowed during the winter, and the snow is kept clear." Additionally, the "roads are repaired every summer, taking care of any potholes," indicating a commitment to maintaining the infrastructure of the park. These services contribute to a more comfortable and convenient living experience for residents.
Beyond the essential maintenance, the positive feedback also emphasizes the quiet nature of the community, with one reviewer stating it's a "great, quiet place to reside." This suggests that Terrace Haven Community might appeal to individuals seeking a peaceful living environment.
However, the reviews also present a contrasting perspective, particularly concerning the landlord, Cheryl. One reviewer describes the landlord as "naggy" and unpleasant to rent from, citing "extremely high expectations, limited privacy, and slight harassment" due to frequent rule enforcement checks. Another reviewer echoes concerns about the landlord, stating that the polite neighbors were the only reason for a two-star rating, implying a negative experience primarily due to management.
Regarding features, one positive review mentions "community rules" but notes that they are "very reasonable." This suggests that while there are guidelines for residents to follow, at least some residents find them acceptable. However, another review points out significant limitations, stating, "I can not recommend renting/owning into this property for people who have kids for as there is no playground, no pool, and no lawn activities allowed." This indicates a lack of child-friendly amenities and potential restrictions on outdoor activities on individual lots.
For individuals looking for "RV parks near me" with specific amenities for recreational vehicles, such as level pads, pull-through sites, or dump stations, it's crucial to verify if Terrace Haven Community offers these, even if their primary focus is on mobile homes. The information available does not specifically address RV amenities.
The reviews provide some insight into the community's features: well-maintained common areas, snow removal, road repairs, and a quiet atmosphere are positives. However, the lack of amenities for children (playground, pool, lawn activities) and concerns about the landlord's management style are significant drawbacks to consider.
Promotional information for Terrace Haven Community is not available in the provided data. For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category who are considering long-term residency here, it is strongly recommended to proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. Terrace Haven Community Reviews
This is a very nice place to live; the community is well-maintained. Common area lawns are mowed regularly, flowers are beautiful. The roads are plowed during the winter, and the snow is kept clear. The roads are repaired every summer, taking care of any potholes.Update: nothing has changed. It's still a great, quiet place to reside. If you're looking for a great place to live, check out Terrace Haven. Yes, there are community rules, but they are very reasonable.
Oct 18, 2024 · Peter GiftosIf you’re looking for a place with a naggy up your a** landlord about the smallest things then this is the place for you! The landlord, Cheryl, is not a very pleasant person to rent from. I cannot foresee renting at this place much longer due to extremely high expectations, limited privacy, and slight harassment from said landlord (who drives around twice a week to make sure you are following her exact rules).Polite neighbors is what caused the two star rating, if it wasn’t for them then it would be a one star, simply because of landlord. I can not recommend renting/owning into this property for people who have kids for as there is no playground, no pool, and no lawn activities allowed.
May 13, 2020 · Jake DurocherNice place. Managers Picky, and don't like kids. Company also tried to cohearse a bunch of money on move out. Made more for older or single people. Not how it used to be.
Mar 18, 2022 · J VLovely well kept mobile home park in a country setting. Well maintained, beautifully landscaped lots among pine trees.
Dec 10, 2017 · Leslie SheldonI had fun driving to there in my truck sliding all over the place to deliver to a really nice person who talks to me how to get to him because there's two of them back to back and the GPS only picks up the first one
