The Californian Estates - Paramount Introduce
If you are currently seeking "RV parks near me" in the Paramount, California area, The Californian Estates - Paramount, located at 7101 Rosecrans Ave, Paramount, CA 90723, USA, is a mobile home park that may appear in your search results. You can contact them at (562) 662-2844 or their mobile number, +1 562-662-2844. When considering a location for your RV, whether for a short visit or long-term living, factors such as management practices, available amenities, utility reliability, and community rules are crucial. The available customer reviews for The Californian Estates - Paramount provide significant feedback on these aspects, although they primarily reflect the experiences of mobile home residents.
Multiple reviews paint a concerning picture of the management and living conditions at The Californian Estates - Paramount. One reviewer uses the strong term "HORRIBLE" to describe their experience. They allege that the manager exhibits "frequent favoritism towards other households" and arbitrarily raises rent by significant amounts, ranging from $50 to $100. This suggests a lack of transparency and consistency in rental policies, which can create financial instability and frustration for residents. The same reviewer also claims that the management often tries to find minor infractions to issue fines, indicating a potentially adversarial relationship between management and residents.
Furthermore, this long-term resident (over 9 years) expresses a feeling of limited autonomy over their own property and warns about the severe parking restrictions during weekdays. They state that parking outside one's house during the week can lead to towing and a recovery fee exceeding $300. This extremely restrictive parking policy would undoubtedly be a major inconvenience for RV owners and their visitors, potentially making even short stays problematic. Based on their extensive experience, this reviewer explicitly states they "would never recommend this to anyone."
Another review echoes and expands on these negative sentiments, advising others, "Don’t come live here. It’s not a good place to live." This reviewer raises several critical issues. Firstly, they highlight the extremely limited internet service, stating that the only option provided is AT&T standard 3G. They attribute this to the owner being "very cheap" and unwilling to invest in upgrading the infrastructure to allow for better internet options like Spectrum. In today's digital age, reliable and high-speed internet is often a necessity, especially for those working remotely or relying on online services. The lack of adequate internet would be a significant drawback for many RVers.
Secondly, this reviewer describes recurring and severe electricity outages during the summer months. They note that on a 109-degree day, the park had no electricity for hours. This is not only a major inconvenience but also a potential safety hazard, especially for vulnerable individuals like the reviewer's 4-month-old baby, who could be at risk of overheating. The comparison to hotter regions where such outages were not experienced underscores the severity of this issue at The Californian Estates - Paramount. The reviewer's rhetorical question about reimbursement for a hotel stay during such outages highlights the lack of expected support or concern from the management.
Thirdly, this review brings up a controversial practice regarding the community pool. The reviewer alleges that the manager or owner rents out the pool to Paramount High School students for swimming lessons for minors. Additionally, residents are reportedly required to make reservations to use the pool on weekends. This suggests that a key amenity, often a significant draw for RV parks, is not readily accessible to residents, being either rented out to external groups or subject to restrictive usage rules. This would undoubtedly diminish the value and enjoyment of the pool for those living in the park.
Finally, this second reviewer also mentions frequent rent increases, corroborating the first reviewer's concern about unstable housing costs. They conclude by reiterating that this is a "very shitty place to live."
Considering these two highly negative and detailed reviews, The Californian Estates - Paramount appears to have significant issues related to its management, infrastructure, and resident experience. The allegations of favoritism, arbitrary rent increases, excessive fines, and severely restrictive parking are major red flags. The extremely poor internet service and the recurring, prolonged electricity outages, especially during extreme heat, raise serious concerns about the basic living conditions and safety within the park.
The information regarding the pool being rented out and residents needing reservations further detracts from the park's appeal as a place offering convenient and enjoyable amenities. These issues collectively paint a picture of a poorly managed environment that prioritizes cost-cutting and potentially external revenue generation over the comfort and well-being of its residents.
For individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in Paramount, The Californian Estates - Paramount, despite its name, does not seem to offer the kind of welcoming and well-serviced environment typically sought by RV travelers or long-term residents. The lack of mention of typical RV amenities (hookups, laundry, etc.) in these reviews, coupled with the serious concerns raised about management and basic utilities, suggests that this location may not be suitable for RV living, even on a temporary basis. The restrictive parking policies alone would likely pose significant challenges for RVs and any accompanying vehicles.
Therefore, local users seeking "RV parks near me" in Paramount are strongly advised to consider other options. The consistent and severe negative feedback regarding The Californian Estates - Paramount indicates a potentially stressful and uncomfortable living situation. It would be prudent to look for RV parks with more positive reviews that highlight reliable utilities, fair management practices, reasonable rules, and the availability of essential amenities for RV living. Investing time in researching alternative locations will likely lead to a much more satisfactory and hassle-free experience.

HORRIBLE. The manager show frequent favoritism towards other households and will raise your rent whenever they choose, ranging anywhere from 50 to 100 dollars. Often try to find the smallest things to fine you for. Barely have any say over your own house, and good luck trying to park your car outside your house during the week days unless you want it towed and need to pay over 300 to get it back. As a resident of this place for over 9 years, we would never recommend this to anyone.
Apr 24, 2025 · Adrien MarieDon’t come live here. It’s not a good place to live. Where should I start? The only internet that is provided here is AT&T standard 3G. The owner is very cheap and doesn’t want to pay for Spectrum to dig underneath the land so we can get better internet. Second, every summer electricity goes out for hours on end and today is 109 degrees outside and we have no electricity. Third, the manager or owner of this place rents out the pool to Paramount High School students and swimming lessons for minors/ they also require the residents to make a reservation to use the pool on the weekends. This is a very shitty place to live and on top of that they raise the rent very frequently. I have a 4 month old baby and I’m worried my baby can overheat due to no electricity. I used to live in Northridge and Reseda in the valley where he it’s hotter than here and this never happened to me until I lived here. If I get a hotel will the manger or owner reimburse me? Haha doubt it.
Sep 07, 2024 · Michelle VenusWas visiting my cousin for the summer but once I got here I couldn't stand the loud music and party's coming from Spc 100. Its annoying having to listen to them when I was just trying to sleep.
Jul 13, 2024 · Bruh MomentWe lived there for a few years, my in-laws lived there for many years. It was a great park, everyone was very nice. My son calls it our “yellow home” because it’s the home he lived in from birth (1997) until we moved in 2002. We loved it!
