Trees Mobile Home Park

1310 Monument Blvd, Concord, CA 94520, USA

3.0
Has bad park owners/management. They try to do the least amount of maintenance and repairs as possible and try to pass the maintenance costs off to residents. A manager who is never in the office never answers the phone and never returns my calls when i leave a voice-mail. It's like there is no manager. The water pressure went low a year ago and still hasn't been fixed. They've let all grass, plants, and shrubs die, and im not talking about the ones in our spaces. There's dead trees that need to be removed and overgrown ones that need major trimming. Park is not maintained well at all. There are potholes, mice, rats, subterranean termites, mosquitoes, and cockroaches everywhere. Pool is usually disgusting. Loud car exhaust pipes, loud music. Residents take up all the guest parking. People store junk all around their spaces and driveways. Thats probably were the mosquitoes and roach colonies breed. Park rules/lease agreements are not enforced. People's yards are overgrown and units in need of major repair and maintenance. Some units probably should be condemned. That lowers the property value of other units. People let their dogs poop in other people's yards and don't clean it up. Occasionally, a drifter will come in and steal stuff. But other than that, it's okay, I guess. - JT

Trees Mobile Home Park Introduce

Trees Mobile Home Park is situated at 1310 Monument Blvd, Concord, CA 94520, USA. For individuals seeking 'RV parks near me' or considering a mobile home community in the Concord area, it is crucial to examine recent feedback to form a comprehensive understanding of potential living conditions. This introduction aims to provide an objective summary of Trees Mobile Home Park based on the available customer reviews online.

One reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction with the park's owners and management, stating they "try to do the least amount of maintenance and repairs as possible" and attempt to shift these costs onto residents. This individual also reports difficulties in contacting the manager, alleging the manager is "never in the office," "never answers the phone," and "never returns my calls when I leave a voice-mail," effectively suggesting an absence of accessible management.

The same reviewer details several specific maintenance issues, including persistently low water pressure that has remained unresolved for a year. They also describe a general state of neglect regarding the park's landscaping, noting that "all grass, plants, and shrubs" have died, not just in individual spaces but in common areas as well. The presence of "dead trees that need to be removed and overgrown ones that need major trimming" further indicates a lack of adequate groundskeeping.

Overall park maintenance is described as "not well at all," with the reviewer pointing out "potholes" as a hazard. Additionally, they report pest infestations, including "mice, rats, subterranean termites, mosquitoes, and cockroaches everywhere," suggesting unsanitary conditions and potential health concerns. The community pool is described as "usually disgusting," indicating a lack of proper upkeep of recreational facilities.

Beyond maintenance issues, the reviewer also mentions concerns about noise levels, citing "loud car exhaust pipes" and "loud music" as disturbances. Parking also appears to be problematic, with "residents take up all the guest parking," potentially inconveniencing visitors and other residents.

The aesthetic appeal and general upkeep of individual lots also come under criticism, with the reviewer stating that "People store junk all around their spaces and driveways," which they suggest contributes to the breeding of mosquitoes and cockroaches. They also allege that "Park rules/lease agreements are not enforced," leading to issues such as "People's yards are overgrown and units in need of major repair and maintenance," with some units potentially being in such disrepair that they "probably should be condemned," which the reviewer believes lowers the property value of other units.

Furthermore, the reviewer mentions issues with pet owners not cleaning up after their dogs in common areas and occasional instances of theft by "a drifter" entering the park. The concluding remark of "But other than that, it's okay, I guess" appears to be heavily sarcastic, given the extensive list of negative experiences and observations.

In stark contrast to this highly critical review, another reviewer offers a much more positive, albeit brief, assessment, describing Trees Mobile Home Park as having a "Good location, affordable, friendly environment, quiet." This suggests that there may be aspects of the park that are appealing to some residents, such as its location within Concord, its cost of living, the social atmosphere, and the general noise level (though this contradicts the previous reviewer's experience with loud noises).

Considering the category of "RV parks near me," these reviews present a complex and conflicting picture for potential RV travelers. The "good location" and "affordable" aspects mentioned in the positive review might be attractive to those seeking a budget-friendly base in the Concord area. However, the extensive list of serious concerns raised by the other reviewer, including poor management, lack of maintenance, pest infestations, noise issues, and security concerns, would need to be carefully considered by anyone planning to stay at Trees Mobile Home Park, even for a short period.

To provide a more detailed picture of Trees Mobile Home Park, we can speculate on some common services and features typically found in mobile home and RV parks, while acknowledging that the provided reviews suggest significant shortcomings in their upkeep and management:

  • RV sites with utility hookups (water, sewer, electricity). The reliability and condition of these are uncertain given the reported lack of maintenance.
  • Potentially a dump station for RV waste.
  • Restroom and shower facilities, the cleanliness of which might be questionable based on the description of the pool.
  • Laundry facilities, the availability and condition of which are not mentioned.
  • Roads and pathways, with potholes reported as a maintenance issue.
  • Common areas and landscaping, described as dead or overgrown.
  • A pool, which is described as "usually disgusting."
  • Guest parking, which is reportedly often occupied by residents.
  • Park rules and lease agreements, which are alleged to be unenforced.
  • Management, which is described as unresponsive and neglectful by one reviewer.

Given the significant and concerning allegations of poor management and maintenance, potential residents, including RVers, are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence. Visiting Trees Mobile Home Park in person to assess the conditions firsthand and, if possible, speaking with multiple current residents to gain a broader range of perspectives would be crucial steps in making an informed decision. It would also be wise to inquire directly with the management about the issues raised in the negative review and to observe the park's environment and upkeep.

For those interested in learning more about Trees Mobile Home Park, including RV site availability, specific amenities, current rates, and the management's response to the concerns raised, contacting the park directly at (925) 686-1711 or +1 925-686-1711 is recommended. However, it is important to approach any information received with a critical eye, given the starkly contrasting reports from residents.

In conclusion, the available online reviews for Trees Mobile Home Park in Concord, CA, present a highly contradictory view. While one reviewer mentions a good location, affordability, a friendly environment, and quietness, another provides a detailed account of poor management, neglected maintenance, pest infestations, noise issues, and a general lack of rule enforcement. Prospective residents, particularly those seeking 'RV parks near me' or long-term mobile home living, must carefully weigh these conflicting reports and conduct thorough personal investigation before considering Trees Mobile Home Park as a viable option.
