Based on the available customer reviews, Tommasi Mobile Village presents itself as a decent and comfortable place to live, particularly for those seeking a quieter residential environment. One long-term resident, having lived in the park for over 13 years, describes it as "comfortable" and "quiet," highlighting these as key positive aspects of the community. This long tenure suggests a level of stability and resident satisfaction over an extended period.
The park appears to have undergone positive changes, particularly in the aftermath of hurricanes that have impacted the region. One reviewer notes that the park is now "cleaner and strait" since these events, indicating that efforts have been made to restore and improve the property. This suggests a responsiveness to the needs of the community and a commitment to maintaining a better living environment for its residents.
In terms of cost, one reviewer mentions that the rent at Tommasi Mobile Village is comparable to other similar communities in the area. This suggests that it offers a competitive pricing structure within the local mobile home market, making it a financially viable option for those considering this type of housing.
The sense of community among residents also appears to be a positive feature. The long-term resident mentions having friendly neighbors who maintain a "respectable distance," suggesting a harmonious balance between neighborliness and privacy. This type of environment can contribute to a comfortable and peaceful living experience.
Management is a crucial aspect of any residential community, and the review provides some insight into the management history at Tommasi Mobile Village. While acknowledging that management has been "rocky" over the years, the reviewer specifically praises a former manager named Rita, describing her as both "compassionate and tough." This suggests that effective and well-liked management has been present at times, which can significantly impact the overall resident experience.
A significant improvement highlighted by the long-term resident is the transition from well water to city water a few years ago. Previously, the water quality was described as "gross," causing staining issues in tubs and toilets. The switch to city water is noted as a positive change, resolving a significant inconvenience and improving the overall quality of life for residents. This upgrade indicates an investment in infrastructure and a response to the needs and concerns of the community.
Considering these points, Tommasi Mobile Village appears to be a long-established mobile home community in Lake Charles that offers a quiet and comfortable living environment. The park has seemingly undergone improvements in cleanliness and infrastructure, particularly with the switch to city water. The sense of community among residents is positive, and while management experiences may have varied over time, past examples of effective management suggest a potential for positive leadership within the village.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who might be open to the idea of mobile home living as a longer-term solution, Tommasi Mobile Village presents a viable option to consider. While it is categorized as a mobile home park rather than a traditional RV park offering short-term stays, the platform's category might attract individuals seeking residential opportunities. Tommasi Mobile Village offers the stability of a long-term community with the potential for a quiet and comfortable lifestyle.
Prospective residents interested in Tommasi Mobile Village should consider visiting the property to assess the current environment and speak with current residents if possible (while respecting their privacy). Inquiring with the management about current policies, community guidelines, and any ongoing improvements would also be beneficial. The positive feedback regarding the quiet atmosphere, recent upgrades, and neighborly environment suggests that Tommasi Mobile Village could be a "decent place to live" for those considering their options for long-term residency in the Lake Charles area.
It is important to note that the provided information is based on a limited number of reviews. A more comprehensive understanding of the community would require further investigation by interested individuals. However, the available feedback paints a picture of a community with a history, a focus on quiet living, and a positive trajectory of improvement, making it a potential option for those seeking mobile home living within a reasonable cost structure in Lake Charles.

Good place and same rent as all others. Cleaner and strait since the hurricanes.
Feb 24, 2021 · Ryan ArendtI LOVE THIS PLACE it comfortable. And quiet. Ive been a resident of this Park for over 13 years and in all that time. I haven't had any issues that I can recaall... My neighbors are friendly and also keep a respectable distance. The management have been rocky here throughout the years. Few Years Back a Lady named, Rita, shes both compassionate and tough i like that. ALSO i love the fact that we went from well water to city water few years back. The water use to be gross where it would stand ur tubs and toliets.. glad its better. This def is a decent place to live if ur considering your options. .

Feb 11, 2024 · William LandryLocation is good. It's quiet. My only issue is management will tell 1 person they have to fix something but 10 other people have the same exact thing and arent told anything. They pick and choose.
