Hoeft's Resort & Campground Reviews
We spent the day on a Tuesday which wasn't a very busy day. The cost is $10 a carload. Also had our service dog on a leash which we kept to the far end of the swimming area. It was a great day for us all.
Jun 20, 2024 · Bonnie FavreMy favorite place. It's grown so much since I was a kid spending my summers here. Our family has had a place here since my grandparents were young. My mom, aunts, and uncles grew up out here also. And the Snack Shack gives the Hamburger Haus a run for their money!! And had shorter lines. Delicious!!!
Sep 04, 2023 · Amanda aka GiggleBug7We love coming to Crooked Lake. The campground has a ton of fun stuff to offer. They have an arcade, snack shack, bar, park and a very nice swimming beach. My father came from out of state and they decided to rent a cabin at the campground instead of a hotel for the week. It was a really great time and we were all able to visit and have a great time fishing and swimming. There aren’t a whole lot of tent sites but they are available. It seems to be mostly permanent sites but everyone is very friendly and we all really enjoyed ourselves all week while my father was here.
Sep 04, 2023 · Collin GerkBeautiful women and awesome crowdWe went on one of the hottest days of summer; it was not over crowded.CONS!!Although, there's a beach bar on the BEACH. I went in to grab a drink with my friend. I had swim trunks and my shirt off... after using the restroom I was asked " Can you wait outside for your friend because you are dripping wet?" That comment made me feel really, really insulted, unwanted and not welcomed. I thought the comment was maybe just... me. It wasn't, a nearby patron apologized for the comment that was made by the bartender. I was not dripping wet. And if I was I recommend a visible sign that states those precise rules. You are located on A BEACH.
Sep 12, 2023 · Quis Will (Quis)Had a great time camping. The old school slides are some of the best. The kids had a great time with the kiddie bike parade too. Great place to hear frogs and see turtles too, teach the city kids something about nature.
