Quail Ridge Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lake Charles, Louisiana area, Quail Ridge, located at 2187 E Gauthier Rd Lot #333A, Lake Charles, LA 70607, USA, presents a mixed picture based on the available resident reviews. While it functions primarily as a mobile home park, individuals seeking long-term stays in their recreational vehicles might also consider such communities. However, it's crucial to carefully weigh the positive aspects mentioned against the significant concerns raised by residents regarding management and safety before making a decision.
One reviewer described Quail Ridge as having a "decent community." This suggests that there may be a positive social environment and a sense of belonging among some residents. For those seeking a community atmosphere during their extended stay, this could be an appealing factor when considering "RV parks near me." The same reviewer also noted that the park is "Very strict on keeping up on maintenance which is a good thing." A strong emphasis on maintenance can contribute to a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing, and safer living environment for all residents, including those in RVs. This suggests that the park management prioritizes the upkeep of the grounds and possibly the individual lots.
However, this positive point is counterbalanced by the same reviewer's concern regarding safety within the community, specifically related to traffic. They stated, "They should make more strict rules in regards to speed limits. Alot of kids live in the park and people are always flying by." This raises a significant safety concern for families with children and any residents who value a pedestrian-friendly environment. When searching for "RV parks near me," the safety of the community, especially concerning vehicle traffic, is a critical consideration.
In stark contrast to the initial reviewer's somewhat balanced perspective, a more recent review paints a very negative picture of the park management and living conditions. This reviewer stated, "Terrible Park Management. Moved into a home with endangering electrical problems and weak floors, wasn't made aware of the problems because they were 'Partially fixed'." These are serious allegations that raise significant concerns about the safety and integrity of the dwellings within the park, potentially including any park-owned trailers or mobile homes that might be rented to RVers for long-term stays.
The same negative review further alleges "Profiling" and being told that the management "didn't like us Specifically as tenants because we had so many complaints." Such accusations of discriminatory behavior and retaliation against tenants who voice concerns are deeply troubling and suggest a potentially hostile living environment. For anyone considering residing at Quail Ridge, understanding the management's approach to tenant relations is paramount.
Furthermore, this reviewer highlighted restrictive and seemingly unreasonable rules, stating, "Apparently we're only allowed, ONE trash can to a home." Such limitations can significantly impact the convenience and hygiene of long-term living. The allegation that "They yelled at my wife for having a complaint" further underscores the unprofessional and potentially confrontational behavior attributed to the park management.
The concluding statement of the negative review is a strong warning: "I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!". This emphatic lack of recommendation, based on serious allegations of unsafe living conditions, unfair treatment, and poor management, should be given significant weight by anyone considering Quail Ridge as a potential "RV park near me" for an extended stay.
Regarding services and features, the limited information available in the reviews makes it challenging to provide a comprehensive overview. The mention of strict maintenance suggests that there are likely rules and expectations regarding the upkeep of individual lots, which could extend to RV sites if long-term RV living is permitted. However, the negative review's account of unresolved safety issues within a rented home casts doubt on the effectiveness or fairness of the overall maintenance management.
Amenities typically found in RV parks, such as laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, recreational areas, or Wi-Fi, are not mentioned in either review. Similarly, there is no information provided about the environment beyond the mention of a "decent community" and the concern about speeding children. The presence or absence of green spaces, landscaping, or other environmental features cannot be determined from the available reviews.
Given the strong negative feedback regarding park management and safety, potential long-term RV residents should exercise extreme caution. It would be essential to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the park in person (if possible), speaking with current residents (if feasible), and asking very detailed questions of the management regarding their policies, maintenance procedures, safety protocols, and tenant relations. Any promises or assurances should be carefully documented.
There is no promotional information available for Quail Ridge in the provided reviews. Individuals interested in learning about lot fees (which one reviewer noted as "Very high"), rental rates for any park-owned RVs or trailers, security deposits, or any special offers would need to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers: (337) 477-9715 or mobile +1 337-477-9715. However, given the serious allegations raised in the negative review, it would be prudent to approach any such inquiries with a high degree of scrutiny and to seek corroborating information from multiple sources if possible.
In conclusion, while one reviewer described Quail Ridge as having a "decent community" and strict maintenance standards, the other review presents very serious allegations of terrible park management, unsafe living conditions, profiling, and unprofessional behavior. The concern about speeding children also raises safety issues. For those searching for "RV parks near me" for a long-term stay, the significant negative feedback regarding management and safety should not be ignored. Thorough investigation and direct communication with the park management, coupled with caution and skepticism, are strongly advised before considering Quail Ridge as a potential residence.

Mar 22, 2023 · Ethan MidkiffLeslie and her staff have taken care of me in every aspect of the word. They are always willing to help if there is an issue. The property is nice and has great amenities such as a pool, and a full court basketball court. The lot rent is a bit high but they do not put upWith drama or any trouble in the neighborhood. I find that it's a great family oriented neighborhood and even a great place for college kids.
Jan 19, 2016 · scotty rosattoI have lived here for 4 yrs. The office management does a fantastic job dealing with all walks of life. It is a safe place to live. All of us watch out for our neighbors as well as the park. Wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
Dec 23, 2017 · Alcina DiedrichNice and quite after the storm. Its being cleaned up slowly but no slower then any other tp I've seen in the same area. Lots of traffic so keep an eye on the little kids that may be riding bikes. You may see me riding with my kid too.
