Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park, located at 810 S 65 W Ave, Tulsa, OK 74127, USA, offers a secure and well-equipped environment for both short-term travelers and those seeking a longer-term RV living experience. Situated in Tulsa, this park provides easy access to city amenities while maintaining a comfortable and safe atmosphere.
Safety and security are clearly a priority at Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park. The park features "gate code access," ensuring that only authorized individuals can enter the premises. Additionally, the presence of "security cameras that actually get monitored" provides an added layer of security and peace of mind for residents and visitors alike. These features contribute to the feeling of a "comfortable safe space" as noted by a satisfied customer.
For everyday convenience, the park offers a code entry laundry room. This facility requires a credit or debit card for the use of the washers and dryers, and residents need to bring their own detergent. The laundry room is equipped with a table for sorting and folding clothes, as well as a trash can, making the task more manageable. Importantly, the laundry room also houses the restroom and shower area, indicating a central location for these essential amenities.
A significant recent upgrade at Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park is the renovation of its restroom and shower facilities. The park now boasts "four private bathrooms with showers" specifically for its tenants' use. This is a notable feature, offering a higher level of privacy and convenience compared to communal shower facilities found in some RV parks. While residents are responsible for providing their own hygiene supplies such as towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, the reviewer enthusiastically mentions the "great" water pressure and consistently hot water, ensuring a "long relaxing shower." This attention to the quality of basic amenities contributes significantly to the overall comfort of the stay.
Looking towards the future, Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park has exciting expansion plans in the works. They intend to add more "full hookup (water, sewer, electric) RV/camper spots" which will be located on "concrete pads" to ensure even parking. This expansion will cater to RVers who prefer or require full utility connections at their site. Furthermore, the park has plans to develop a dog park, which will be a valuable addition for pet owners, providing a dedicated space for their furry companions to exercise and socialize safely. Additional expansions are also in the pipeline, including the development of a game room and other amenities, suggesting a commitment to enhancing the overall resident experience and fostering a sense of community.
The location of Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park offers excellent accessibility. It is described as "easy to get to" and within walking distance of several conveniences. A corner convenience store is nearby for quick necessities, and a bar/grill restaurant offers a local dining option within easy reach. Additionally, a shopping strip with a few other stores is also within walking distance, providing further convenience for everyday needs. The convenience store is also a designated Uber/Lyft pickup/drop-off spot, making it incredibly easy to access transportation to explore other parts of Tulsa without the need to drive yourself.
The park's proximity to Downtown Tulsa is another significant advantage. A short drive allows residents and visitors to easily enjoy the diverse entertainment and dining experiences that downtown Tulsa has to offer, including cultural attractions, live music venues, restaurants, and nightlife. Furthermore, the park offers convenient access to the highway, making it easy to navigate the greater Tulsa area and beyond. For those interested in exploring the nearby city of Sand Springs, the reviewer notes that it is easily accessible via the highway or through scenic side roads, offering a variety of shopping and dining options, including a Supercenter Walmart, Cash Saver, Aldi, Dollar Tree, and numerous restaurants.
Nature and recreation are also within easy reach of Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park. A "beautiful park with walking trails and a pond with ducks" is located close by. This nearby park offers opportunities for leisurely walks, enjoying the scenery, and even fishing in the pond. Additional amenities at this nearby park include a gazebo with an outdoor grill, perfect for picnics and gatherings, as well as a "little red library box" for book exchange and reading enjoyment, fostering a sense of community and access to leisure activities.
Based on the positive feedback, Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park is recommended for both long-term stays and quick pass-through trips. Its numerous conveniences, including the monitored security, clean facilities, private showers, and proximity to essential amenities and transportation options, make it a practical and comfortable choice. The ongoing expansion plans, such as the addition of more full hookup sites, a dog park, and a game room, indicate a commitment to continuous improvement and enhancing the resident experience. Tulsa's Big Tree RV Park Reviews
It's a comfortable safe space with gate code access, security cameras that actually get monitored and a code entry laundry room (need a credit or debit card to use washer/dryer and bring your own detergent) does have a table in there for sorting/folding and trash can. This is also where the restroom shower area is located. Recently renovated this park has four private bathrooms with showers for it's tenants to use. You provide your own hygiene supplies like; towels,shampoo/conditioner, and body wash but the water pressure is great and water stays hot for a long relaxing shower! They have plans to add more full hookup (water, sewer, electric)RV/camper spots (on concrete pads) That allows for a even parking. More expansion is in the works for a dog park and more like a game room and other things. Easy to get to/within walking distance to a corner convenience store and a bar/grill restaurant as well as a few other stores along the shopping strip. The convenience store is a designated Uber/Lyft pickup/drop off spot which makes getting around to further locations a breeze. Not far from Downtown Tulsa makes enjoying entertainment and dining experience there a good choice. Convenient access to the highway or if you know/willing to explore Sand Springs taking any of the side roads gets you to all of the wonderful shopping and dining experiences that they have. There are quite a few choices in shopping from a Supercenter Walmart, Cash Saver, Aldi, Dollar Tree and more. Plus several restaurants. A beautiful park with walking trails and a pond with ducks is also close by. It has fishing, a gazebo with an outdoor grill as well as a little red library box for book exchange and reading fun! Whether you are looking for a long term stay or just a quick pass through trip I'd recommend this RV park for all its conveniences and charm.
