Twin Cedars RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lynnwood, Washington area, Twin Cedars RV Park, located at 17826 Hwy 99, Lynnwood, WA 98037, USA, is a potential option to consider. They can be reached at (425) 742-5540 or +1 425-742-5540 for inquiries. Based on the available customer reviews, Twin Cedars RV Park presents a mixed picture, with positive feedback regarding the community and some amenities, but also significant concerns about recent management changes and rent increases, particularly affecting long-term residents. The park is also reportedly recovering from flood damage.
A Friendly Community Atmosphere
One of the consistently positive aspects highlighted in the reviews is the friendly nature of the residents at Twin Cedars RV Park. One reviewer explicitly stated, "Folks here are extremely nice." This suggests a welcoming and neighborly environment within the park, which can be a significant draw for RVers seeking a sense of community during their travels or long-term stays. A friendly atmosphere can enhance the overall living experience and foster positive interactions among residents.
Availability of Amenities, Including a Dog Park
In terms of amenities, one reviewer noted that Twin Cedars RV Park "had everything we needed including a dog park." The presence of a dog park is a significant advantage for RV travelers who bring their pets along, providing a dedicated and safe space for dogs to exercise and socialize off-leash. The mention of having "everything we needed" suggests that the park offers essential facilities and services to accommodate RV living, although the specifics of these needs are not detailed in the provided reviews.
Impact of Recent Management Changes
A significant concern raised by one reviewer revolves around recent changes in park management. According to this feedback, the "prior managers were great" but have since left "randomly." The new management is described negatively, with accusations of "terrible" practices, particularly concerning rent increases. This reviewer alleges that the new management is raising rent, especially for long-term residents, including disabled veterans and older individuals on fixed incomes. The lack of prior notice regarding these rent increases is also a major complaint.
This negative feedback regarding the new management and their handling of rent increases is a serious consideration for potential residents, especially those planning an extended stay or who are on a limited income. The alleged lack of communication about these changes further exacerbates the concern.
Financial Implications for Long-Term Residents
The accusation of disproportionate rent increases for long-term residents, including vulnerable populations like disabled veterans and older folks on fixed incomes, is particularly troubling. RV parks can serve as more permanent housing for some individuals, and unexpected or substantial rent hikes can create significant financial hardship. The lack of notice adds to the instability and can make it difficult for residents to plan their finances.
Potential local users considering a long-term stay at Twin Cedars RV Park should inquire very carefully about the current rent structure, any recent or planned rent increases, and the policies regarding rent adjustments for long-term residents. It would also be prudent to understand the terms of any lease or agreement regarding rent stability and notification of changes.
Recovery from Flood Damage
Another important factor to consider is the mention that Twin Cedars RV Park "had damage from flood but are working their back." This indicates that the park has experienced a significant natural event that has impacted its infrastructure or grounds. While the reviewer expresses optimism about the recovery efforts ("are working their back"), potential visitors should be aware that some areas or amenities might still be under repair or not fully operational. It would be wise to inquire about the extent of the flood damage and the progress of the recovery efforts when contacting the park.
Understanding the current condition of the park and its facilities will help potential residents assess whether it meets their needs and expectations. The recovery process might affect the availability or quality of certain amenities or the overall aesthetic of the park.
Lack of Detailed Information on Services and Features
Beyond the mention of a dog park and the general implication of having "everything we needed," the provided reviews do not offer specific details about the services and features available at Twin Cedars RV Park. Potential local users will need to inquire directly about essential amenities such as hookups (electricity, water, sewer), restroom and shower facilities, laundry services, Wi-Fi availability, and any recreational facilities (e.g., common areas, picnic tables). Information about the park's policies regarding pets, guests, and vehicle parking would also be important.
Promotional Information and Recommendations
Based on the limited information available, there is no explicit promotional information for Twin Cedars RV Park. The reviews highlight a friendly community and the presence of a dog park as positives, but also raise significant concerns about recent management changes, rent increases affecting long-term residents, and the park's recovery from flood damage.
Local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Lynnwood, WA, should approach Twin Cedars RV Park with caution and conduct thorough due diligence. It is strongly recommended to contact the management at (425) 742-5540 or +1 425-742-5540 to inquire about the current management policies, rent structure (especially for long-term stays), the status of the flood recovery efforts, and the specific services and features available. Potential residents may also want to ask about the reasons for the management change and the rationale behind the rent increases.
If possible, visiting Twin Cedars RV Park in person would be beneficial to assess the current condition of the park, the atmosphere under the new management, and the overall environment. Observing the interactions between residents and staff, if feasible, could provide additional insights. Given the conflicting feedback, a direct assessment is crucial for potential residents to determine if Twin Cedars RV Park meets their needs and expectations.
In conclusion, Twin Cedars RV Park in Lynnwood, WA, appears to offer a friendly community and some desirable amenities like a dog park. However, significant concerns regarding recent management changes, rent increases impacting long-term residents, and the ongoing recovery from flood damage warrant careful consideration. Potential local users are advised to contact the park directly for detailed information and to conduct a personal visit to make an informed decision.

Twin Cedars RV Park Reviews
Prior managers were great but just left randomly and the new ones are terrible raising rent especially on ppl who have been here for years and some are disabled veterans and older folks who only make so much. And there was no notice or anything sent about rent either!
Apr 01, 2025 · Evangeline VaurigaudFolks here are extremely nice. Had everything we needed including a dog park. They had damage from flood but are working their back.
Aug 18, 2024 · Vickie McClanahanMy family have been utilizing this park for over a year and the place is very well kept. Everyone is very friendly who lives/camps in the park. Management do an excellent job at keeping the park clean, safe for family and children. The park enforces a speed limit which is very necessary to protect our children's welfare while they play. Park rules are also on par for keeping rv sites neat and tidy. My family thoroughly appreciate the professionalism and kindness of all the office staff! Very glad to have found this place.
Aug 19, 2017 · AllDad3DaughtersLived here for over two years, current managers are the best. BEST. Caring, concerned, and willing to go the extra mile to make it a safe and welcome environment for my kids. The maintenance of the park alone is amazing and they have truly fostered a welcoming community vibe. Love it!
Sep 09, 2017 · Mariah FalinWe have lived here for right around 6 years and couldn't ask for a better place. Jamie and Bear are wonderful people and they continue to manage the park with the care and dedication that only great managers can do. They continue to treat the people who live here with the otmost respect. We have checked out other rv parks and personally non compares to ours. We wanted to also thank corporate for the gifts that they have given this year and in the past. They are truly appreciated.
