Village at Alvin Introduce
For local individuals seeking long-term residential options in the Alvin, Texas area, Village at Alvin, situated at 700 Verhalen Rd, presents a mobile home park environment that may also accommodate RVs for extended stays. While categorized under "RV parks near me," Village at Alvin appears to function primarily as a residential community for mobile homes, potentially offering long-term RV site rentals as well. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of the park based on the limited information available online, including its location and insights from resident reviews.
Located in Alvin, Texas, Village at Alvin offers a setting within a suburban community. Alvin provides residents with access to local amenities such as shopping centers, schools, and healthcare facilities. The town is situated within the Houston-Galveston metropolitan area, offering a balance of small-town living with proximity to larger urban centers and employment opportunities. For those seeking a more established residential environment outside the immediate bustle of a major city, Alvin could be an appealing location.
The resident reviews for Village at Alvin present a mixed perspective, highlighting both potential positives and significant concerns. One resident describes the place as "nice and quiet, very peaceful," and appreciates that "neighbors mind there own business," emphasizing a non-disruptive and private living environment. This positive feedback suggests that for some, Village at Alvin offers a desirable sense of peace and neighborly respect.
However, another, more detailed review raises serious issues regarding noise disturbances, lack of management intervention, safety concerns, and infrastructure problems. This resident reports experiencing disruptive noise from a neighbor playing loud music throughout the night, impacting their sleep and the well-being of elderly neighbors. They also allege that despite reporting the issue, the management directed them to call the police, and that the neighbor's behavior worsened after police intervention, supposedly due to a perceived lack of action from the management. This suggests potential challenges in resolving neighbor disputes within the community.
Furthermore, the same review mentions concerns about safety within the park, citing instances of people driving fast through the parking lot at night. There are also allegations of property damage caused by children, including broken plants and damage to the skirting of the resident's mobile home. The resident recounts confronting the children and subsequently being confronted by a non-resident mother, indicating potential issues with enforcing community rules and managing visitor behavior.
Adding to these concerns, the review describes issues with the park's infrastructure, specifically mentioning a flooded walkway during heavy rain due to clogged ditches, impeding the resident's ability to leave their home. This suggests potential maintenance issues within the community that could impact residents' daily lives and safety.
Finally, a separate, strongly worded review advises against renting a trailer home within Village at Alvin, specifically naming "MT-TX2 Properties" as the rental company. This review alleges a lack of responsiveness to essential maintenance needs, including appliance emergencies and air conditioning issues during the summer, even for residents who pay their rent on time. This suggests potential problems with the management of rental properties within the park, which could be a significant concern for those considering renting a mobile home there.
Given the significant negative feedback concerning noise, management responsiveness, safety, and maintenance, it is challenging to identify specific services, features, or promotional aspects of Village at Alvin based solely on these reviews. Typically, mobile home parks might offer amenities such as on-site management, community spaces, laundry facilities, and potentially recreational areas. However, the provided reviews do not offer any positive insights into such amenities at Village at Alvin. Potential residents should directly contact the park management using the provided phone numbers, (832) 723-1828 or +1 832-723-1828, to inquire about the specific services and features offered, as well as the community rules and regulations.
For local users considering Village at Alvin for long-term residency, whether in a mobile home or an RV, it is crucial to weigh the positive feedback regarding a potentially quiet environment against the serious concerns raised by other residents. The allegations of inadequate management response to noise and safety issues, property damage, and maintenance problems should be carefully considered. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents contact the park management to address these concerns directly and to gain a clearer understanding of the community's policies and procedures for handling such issues. Visiting the property in person to assess the overall environment and, if possible, speaking with current residents could provide valuable insights before making any decisions about residing at Village at Alvin. While the park exists as a residential option in Alvin, potential residents should proceed with caution and conduct thorough due diligence to ensure it meets their living expectations and safety requirements.

Village at Alvin Reviews
Our neighbor has music all night till the morning. At times he blast it at full high . If he shakes our home the elderly couple that lives next door. Must never sleeps. But the manager will tell you when report it call the police. We call the police he starts acting worse because he knows the management will not do anything. People drive fast throw the parking lot all night. There has to be something done the same man's kids hit my home breaking plants the skirting to my mobile home. The kid's were outside my window banging my home I go out and tell them to stop. And the mother that doesn't live here comes and tells. At me. And my walkway floods I can't get out when it rains hard . The ditches are clogged

Would not recommend this place at all. Turns gas lines off for day without telling people. Same with the water. I wish someone would do something about it theres alot of people living there.
Jul 21, 2018 · J DManager here is a rude b! Not only does she not have the skills to be manager, she’s probably running some sort of scam. Makes charges and then is not able to explain what they are. She gives this place a bad name, and doesn’t know how to treat customers.Response: Nope, you’re rude even if tenants are nice. You know what you do. Then again there’s no point in putting a complaint in if you’re the one receiving them. There’s a reason many tenants have complaints about you. Cuando el rio suena...... por algo es.
Sep 28, 2020 · abbigail crespomy friend lives here and she loves it. but as a visitor the parking could be a little better but overhaul its a very nice quiet place.
