Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local individuals seeking long-term residential options in the Alvin, Texas area, Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park, located at 510 N Shirley St TRLR 2, presents a mobile home community that may also accommodate RVs for extended stays. While listed under the category of "RV parks near me," Pleasant Acres appears to function primarily as a residential area for mobile homes, potentially offering long-term RV site rentals as well. This introduction aims to provide local users with an objective overview of the park based on the limited information available online, specifically focusing on the significant concerns raised in resident reviews.
Situated in Alvin, Texas, Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park is located within a town that offers a range of local amenities, including shopping, schools, and medical facilities. Alvin provides a suburban setting with connectivity to the wider Houston-Galveston metropolitan area, offering a balance between a quieter community atmosphere and access to urban resources. For those considering a move to Alvin, Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park represents one of the available housing options.
However, the available customer reviews for Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park paint a concerning picture for potential residents. One review strongly advises against living in the park, particularly for those who own their trailers. A primary complaint revolves around the water billing system, with the reviewer alleging a lack of water meters and a seemingly arbitrary charging method by the management. This lack of transparency and potential for inconsistent billing could be a significant financial concern for residents.
The same review expresses strong dissatisfaction with the new owners and management, describing them as "beyond hard to get ahold of," "very unprofessional," "lazy," and "unpleasant." The reviewer also claims a lack of maintenance services, specifically mentioning the absence of personnel to address water or sewage leaks. These allegations suggest potential issues with the responsiveness and effectiveness of the park's management in addressing essential resident needs and maintaining the property's infrastructure.
Another review echoes these negative sentiments, stating that the park "does not live up to its name." This reviewer also cautions potential renters to be aware that not all trailers within the park are owned by the park itself, implying a mix of park-owned and privately-owned units, which could lead to varying management responsibilities and standards. Furthermore, this review describes the neighbors as "loud and unruly" and claims that "nothing is done about it," suggesting a potential lack of enforcement of community rules regarding noise and resident behavior. The concluding remark, "Good luck of you move in here," underscores the negative experience of this reviewer.
Given the overwhelmingly negative feedback concerning water billing practices, management professionalism and responsiveness, maintenance issues, and neighbor behavior, it is extremely challenging to identify any positive services, features, or promotional aspects of Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park based on the currently available information. Typically, mobile home parks might offer on-site management, basic utility hookups, and potentially some communal areas. However, the provided reviews do not offer any indication of well-functioning services or desirable features at Pleasant Acres. The lack of mention of any amenities, combined with the serious complaints, suggests that potential residents should approach this community with significant caution.
As a mobile home park, Pleasant Acres likely offers individual lots for residents to place their mobile homes. It is unknown whether RVs are permitted for long-term stays and, if so, what specific amenities or services are provided for RV residents. Information regarding lot sizes, utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer), and associated fees is not available in the provided reviews. Given the issues raised about water billing, it would be particularly important for potential residents to clarify how all utilities are managed and billed at Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park.
In light of the strongly negative reviews highlighting problems with management, billing, maintenance, and neighbor disturbances, it is impossible to offer any positive promotional information for Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park at this time. The available feedback serves as a significant warning to potential residents. Local users actively searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home communities in Alvin, Texas, should carefully consider the serious concerns raised in these reviews before considering Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park. It is strongly recommended that prospective residents seek alternative options and, if they still choose to investigate further, conduct thorough due diligence by contacting the park management directly to address the numerous concerns raised and by visiting the property in person to assess the conditions and potentially speak with current residents (if possible) to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the living environment. The current information strongly suggests that Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park may not provide a pleasant living experience.

Pleasant Acres Mobile Home Park Reviews
The absolute worst place to live if you own your own trailer. No water meters so they just guess what ever they feel like charging you.. The new owners were beyond hard to get ahold of. They are very unprofessional, lazy, and unpleasant pun intended. Noone here to fix water or sewage leaks.
Jun 24, 2022 · Erica PennThis place does not live up to its name. And be careful who you rent from here the park doesn't own all the trailers. The neighbors are loud and unruly and nothing is done about it. Good luck of you move in here.
