Mustang Bayou RV Park Introduce
When searching for 'RV parks near me' in the Alvin, Texas area, Mustang Bayou RV Park, located at 1558 County Rd 99, Alvin, TX 77511, presents itself as an option for RV travelers. To provide a detailed introduction for local users, it is essential to consider the available feedback from real customers to offer an objective view of the park's environment, services, and features.
The online reviews for Mustang Bayou RV Park present a mixed perspective, highlighting both positive and negative aspects of the community. One former customer expressed significant dissatisfaction, citing "HORRIBLE!!!!" customer service and alleging dishonesty regarding the return of a deposit upon checkout. This reviewer also mentioned restrictions on having a dog fence, despite it supposedly not bothering anyone, and described the park's upkeep as poor, with a "jungle"-like appearance of unkempt grass and bad potholes. They strongly recommended against staying at Mustang Bayou RV Park, stating that the park "looks bad does not look like In The pictures !!! Need to do better !!!!" This negative review does, however, note two positive aspects: the park's proximity to stores and the availability of free laundry facilities.
In contrast, a current long-term resident offers a much more positive assessment, particularly regarding the management. This reviewer states, "I'm very pleased with the management," specifically praising Rebecca, the manager. They mention an occasional issue with Wi-Fi connectivity due to too many users, but commend Rebecca's prompt and effective response, stating that she "fixes it" within minutes of being contacted. This resident also highlights Rebecca's attentiveness to any problems within the park, her pleasant and caring demeanor, and her proactive communication regarding new changes and policies. This positive feedback from a long-term tenant suggests that the management, at least in their experience, is responsive and helpful.
Considering these contrasting reviews, the environment of Mustang Bayou RV Park appears to be a point of contention. The negative review describes poorly maintained grounds with overgrown grass and potholes, suggesting a lack of aesthetic appeal and potential infrastructure issues. The positive review from the long-term resident does not directly address the physical environment but focuses on the positive aspects of management. Therefore, prospective residents should be aware that the visual presentation and upkeep of the park may not meet everyone's expectations, as indicated by the negative feedback.
In terms of services, the information provided mentions free laundry facilities, which is a significant amenity for RV travelers, especially those on longer stays. The availability of Wi-Fi is also noted, although its reliability may vary depending on the number of users at any given time. The positive review suggests that the management is responsive to issues, particularly regarding Wi-Fi connectivity, indicating a level of service that aims to address residents' concerns promptly.
Features of Mustang Bayou RV Park that can be gleaned from the reviews include its proximity to stores, which offers convenience for residents needing to access supplies and other retail options. The park offers laundry facilities at no additional cost. However, the negative review mentions the inability to have a dog fence, which might be a significant drawback for pet owners seeking a secure outdoor space for their animals. The presence and quality of other typical RV park features, such as hookups (electrical, water, sewer), the layout and size of the RV sites, restrooms, showers, or recreational areas, are not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Mustang Bayou RV Park, potential residents should consider the following points based on the available feedback:

Jan 14, 2025 · AngieeI'm a current resident at mustang bayou. I'm very pleased with the management. The wifi sometimes has to many people on it. Resulting in the connection dropping sometimes. However in a matter of minutes after I call Rebecca the manager she fixes it. If there is anything wrong at the parks She immediately gives it her attention. Rebecca is pleasent, caring and attentive. She keeps everyone up to date on any new changes and policy's. -Long term tenent Chris

Mar 02, 2025 · april beelerStayed at this RV park over 2 years, great management, quiet, with options for laundry and showers. (3+ years ago)Close to 3 towns so it’s in a great location.(currently) However, if you’re young, and have no kids and pets, the owners don’t ask questions, they assume. There is no pet deposit online but try creating rules on the spot. If you socialize with people you automatically are a drug person or something of that nature. If there is an issue with a specific tenet they use to reach out to you, not no more. They gaslight and openly leave notes in the open (which doesn’t make it a safe space) Mail will sit in the mailbox for days on end (allowing items to be stolen) and the laundry room and bathrooms never get cleaned and when they do an ill excuse about not having help is the plosable answer. As well as if you have to clean the nasty bathrooms you won’t get reimbursed for the chemicals or material you use. Last resort more like it.
May 24, 2024 · Payton MartinezOkay Park. Was looking a little rough when we pulled in. After a few days, they mowed and cleaned. Bathrooms are rough. Biggest problem, no one stays on site. A few nights some of the long termers played music, reved cars till 2am.
