Washita RV Park Introduce
For local individuals and those relocating to the Wynnewood, Oklahoma, area, the search for dependable and comfortable "RV parks near me" often prioritizes factors like convenience, affordability, and a peaceful environment. Washita RV Park, situated at 23140 US-77 in Wynnewood, emerges as a highly recommended option based on the positive experiences shared by its residents and short-term visitors. This RV park offers a unique blend of a tranquil countryside setting with easy access to essential amenities and major employment centers, making it an ideal choice for a diverse range of needs.
One of the standout features of Washita RV Park, as highlighted by a satisfied guest, is its strategic location for those working at the nearby Wynnewood refinery. The reviewer specifically mentioned, "I recommend this rv park for all Refinery workers from out of town! My husband worked at wynnewood plant and it was less than 10 min drive..." This proximity offers a significant advantage for refinery workers seeking convenient and affordable lodging options close to their workplace, eliminating long commutes and providing more personal time. For individuals relocating for work at the Wynnewood refinery, Washita RV Park presents a compelling alternative to often more expensive and less flexible hotel stays.
Beyond its convenience for refinery workers, Washita RV Park also boasts easy access to the nearby town of Pauls Valley. The same reviewer noted it was a "...short distance from Pauls valley which has great places to eat at or shop!" This accessibility to Pauls Valley expands the options for residents and visitors, providing opportunities for dining, shopping, and enjoying local attractions without having to travel long distances. This balance between a peaceful, slightly rural setting and proximity to town amenities is a key draw for many seeking "RV parks near me" that offer the best of both worlds.
The management at Washita RV Park consistently receives high praise in the customer reviews. The reviewer specifically commended, "The manager steve were all kind and tried their best to answrr any questions." This positive feedback underscores the helpful and supportive nature of the on-site management. Knowing that there is a responsive and accommodating manager can significantly enhance the overall living experience in an RV park, providing residents and visitors with a reliable point of contact for any inquiries or assistance needed.
Interestingly, Washita RV Park goes beyond simply offering parking spaces for RVs. The reviewer also mentioned, "WE rented an rv from them and it was great stay! $250 a week was a great deal compared to hotels nearby. Parking space was spacious and had roku tv in trailer. Ask for rv rentals and cabins they have for rent there." This reveals a significant feature of the park: the availability of RV rentals directly on-site. This is a particularly attractive option for those who may be new to the area, are in between RVs, or are looking for a temporary lodging solution without having to tow their own unit. The mention of a weekly rate of $250, compared favorably to nearby hotel costs, highlights the affordability of Washita RV Park, especially for longer stays. The added bonus of spacious parking and amenities like Roku TV in the rental trailers further enhances the value proposition.
The availability of "cabins they have for rent there" adds another dimension to the lodging options at Washita RV Park. This provides flexibility for those who may prefer a more traditional structure or are traveling with non-RVers who require cabin accommodations. Offering both RV sites and cabin rentals allows Washita RV Park to cater to a broader range of travelers and long-term residents.
The environment of Washita RV Park is consistently described as peaceful. The reviewer noted, "Even though its in country side its so peaceful!" This tranquility is a major draw for those seeking a quiet retreat away from the noise and congestion of more urban areas. The ability to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while still having convenient access to necessities and attractions is a significant advantage for those looking for "RV parks near me" that prioritize relaxation and a slower pace of life.
Safety and convenience are also key considerations. The reviewer pointed out, "They have tornado shelter and trash bins nearby." The presence of a tornado shelter is a crucial safety feature in Oklahoma, providing residents and visitors with a designated safe space in the event of severe weather. The availability of nearby trash bins contributes to the cleanliness and convenience of the park, making it easier for guests to maintain their sites and the overall environment.
Another long-term resident shared their positive experience, stating, "We just recently moved here.. Let me tell you all this RV park is peaceful. The Manager is very helpful knows all about campers. He helped my Husband tremendously. He Has gone far and beyond helpful and very, very nice. I believe we picked a very good Rv Park to live in…… if your looking for a RV Park this is the one.." This heartfelt testimonial from someone who has chosen to make Washita RV Park their home speaks volumes about the quality of life and the supportive community fostered there. The continued praise for the manager's helpfulness and knowledge about campers further reinforces the idea of well-managed and guest-oriented park.
While the provided information does not specify the exact number and types of RV sites available (e.g., pull-through, back-in, size restrictions, hookup details such as water, sewer, and electric amperage), the mention of "spacious" parking suggests that the sites are adequately sized to accommodate various RV types. To obtain detailed information about site specifics, availability, and any potential long-term residency options, it is advisable to contact Washita RV Park directly at (405) 544-8557 or +1 405-544-8557.

Aug 25, 2024 · Brandi CoxNice, quiet and clean. No problem at all with the owners because they are very good and quick to get on things that are a problem. The Wi-Fi could be better but I’m actually enjoying a break from the Wi-Fi and social media. It is strong enough to get done what I want to get done though. I’m glad I chose this RV Park
