Green Park RV Resort Introduce
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Pauls Valley, Oklahoma area, Green Park RV Resort, situated at 32866 Airline Rd, Pauls Valley, OK 73075, USA, presents itself as a potential option. This introduction aims to provide a detailed overview of the RV park, incorporating available customer reviews to offer an objective perspective. You can reach them by phone at (405) 309-9294 or via mobile at +1 405-309-9294 for direct inquiries.
When choosing an RV park, local users typically consider factors such as the tranquility of the environment, the cleanliness and availability of essential services, the friendliness of the staff, the proximity to local attractions and amenities, and, importantly, the overall comfort and potential issues reported by other campers. The two available customer reviews for Green Park RV Resort offer contrasting experiences that warrant careful consideration.
One reviewer describes Green Park RV Resort as a "very quite campground," which can be a significant advantage for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay. This reviewer also specifically praises the cleanliness of the bathrooms and laundry room, noting that they are "always clean." Furthermore, they commend "Ms. Kristy the host" for being "very nice," highlighting positive interactions with the park staff. This positive experience was during a several-month stay related to the reviewer's husband's job, indicating the park's suitability for longer-term stays. The reviewer also mentions the park's convenient location, being approximately one mile off the interstate and two miles from the town of Paul's Valley, suggesting a balance of quiet seclusion with easy access to transportation and local amenities.
However, the second review presents a starkly different and concerning experience. This reviewer stated that while the park "wasn’t a bad park," they would have stayed longer had it not been for a severe cockroach infestation. They reported killing "probably 30 cockroaches" during their month-long stay, identifying them as German cockroaches and suggesting they were breeding under the shower house. The reviewer expressed concern that many RVs in the park were likely infested as well. Alarmingly, they brought this issue to the attention of the management, who allegedly did not take it seriously and responded with a dismissive "leave if you want." The reviewer concluded that the entire park and every RV would need professional fumigation to eradicate the infestation, describing it as the "thickest I’ve seen in a long time." This review raises significant concerns about the hygiene and pest control measures at Green Park RV Resort.
Considering these two contrasting reviews, local users searching for "RV parks near me" need to weigh the positive aspects of a quiet environment, clean facilities, and a friendly host against the serious allegations of a cockroach infestation and a perceived lack of concern from management regarding this issue.
Based on the information provided, we can infer some potential services and features of Green Park RV Resort. Typically, RV parks offer:
- **Utility Hookups:** It is highly likely that Green Park RV Resort provides hookups for electricity, water, and sewer at its RV sites, essential for the functioning of most recreational vehicles.
- **Restroom and Shower Facilities:** The positive review specifically mentions that these facilities are "always clean," suggesting their availability and regular maintenance. However, the negative review's mention of cockroaches breeding under the shower house introduces a significant caveat to this positive aspect.
- **Laundry Room:** The presence of a laundry room that is reportedly "always clean" is a valuable amenity for both short-term and long-term stays. Again, the potential for pest infestation in this area is a concern based on the negative review.
- **Location:** Its proximity to the interstate (one mile) offers convenient access for travelers, while being two miles from Paul's Valley provides access to local shops, restaurants, and services. The "quite campground" description suggests that the slight distance from the town and interstate may contribute to a more peaceful atmosphere.
- **Long-Term Stays:** The positive reviewer's multi-month stay indicates that the park accommodates longer-term residents, potentially offering different rates or amenities for extended stays.
- **Host/Management:** The positive mention of "Ms. Kristy the host" being "very nice" suggests that there is on-site management or staff who are friendly and helpful, at least in some interactions. However, the negative review paints a different picture of the management's responsiveness to serious pest control issues.
Features of Green Park RV Resort likely include individual RV sites of varying sizes to accommodate different types of recreational vehicles. The surface of these sites (e.g., gravel, concrete), the availability of shade, and the layout of the park are not specified in the provided information. It is also unknown whether the park offers additional recreational amenities such as a playground, picnic area, or Wi-Fi access.
Regarding promotional information, there is no specific mention of any special offers or discounts in the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about daily, weekly, or monthly rates, as well as any current promotions for Green Park RV Resort, should contact the park directly using the phone numbers provided.
In conclusion, Green Park RV Resort in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, presents a mixed picture for local users searching for "RV parks near me." While one reviewer highlights a quiet environment, clean facilities, a friendly host, and convenient location, the other reviewer raises a serious concern about a significant cockroach infestation and a dismissive response from management. This discrepancy underscores the importance of careful consideration and further investigation before making a decision.
Prospective visitors should consider the following:
- **The positive aspects:** A quiet campground with reportedly clean bathrooms and laundry facilities, a nice host, and a convenient location near the interstate and town.
- **The negative aspects:** A concerning report of a significant German cockroach infestation throughout the park, including breeding under the shower house, and an alleged lack of concern from management.
Given the severity of the pest control issue raised in one of the reviews, local users are strongly advised to take the following steps before booking a stay at Green Park RV Resort:
- **Contact the management directly:** Inquire specifically about their current pest control measures and how they are addressing the reported cockroach infestation. Gauge their responsiveness and commitment to resolving the issue.
- **Ask for recent updates on the park's condition:** Request information about any recent improvements or changes in management practices.
- **Seek additional recent reviews:** Look for more recent reviews on other online platforms to see if other campers have reported similar issues or if the situation has improved.
- **Consider alternative RV parks in the Pauls Valley area:** Explore other options to ensure a comfortable and hygienic stay, especially if pest control is a major concern.
While the positive review suggests a potentially pleasant experience, the serious allegations in the negative review cannot be ignored. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" deserve to be aware of these contrasting experiences to make an informed decision that prioritizes their comfort, health, and safety. Direct communication with the park management is crucial to ascertain the current state of Green Park RV Resort and whether the reported issues have been adequately addressed.

Very quite campground. Bathrooms and laundry room is always clean. Ms. Kristy the host is very nice. Stayed there for several months for my husband's job. Bout a mile off the interstate and 2 miles from Paul's Valley town.
Sep 19, 2020 · Kira StephensIt wasn’t a bad park I would have stayed there longer. I was there for a month and killed probably 30 cockroach’s the park is infested and they are German cockroaches they are breeding under the shower house and I’m sure a lot of rvs there are full of them. I Brought it to the attention of management they don’t care and say leave if you want.🪳 you can spray around your rv and they will still try to get in and if you aren’t thorough which most people aren’t you are going to lose the battle. Hence why we left. The whole place and every rv would need to be fumigated to get rid of them all thickest I’ve seen in a long time.
Oct 20, 2024 · TylerThis is and will be our go to park when we travel south on I-35 from northern Oklahoma to Texas & back. Full hookups, 30/50 amp electric, free Wi-Fi, bathrooms are private & the cleanest we have ever seen at any of the parks where we have camped. Great price, level gravel pull-through site long enough for our 40’ 5th wheel trailer and F350 dually long bed. Quiet country setting with beautiful sunsets & sunrises, (great photo op) yet close to stores/restaurants. Convenient location about a mile west of I-35. Well maintained park and easy in and out, even with our big rig. The highlight of our visit was dealing with & getting to know the dedicated professional & courteous park manager Gwen, she is a keeper.
May 17, 2019 · Bill JohnsonI've been here a month the owner is friendly everybody here is friendly it's a good little spot 10 out of 10 would recommend
Mar 14, 2025 · Jimmy StehrWe stayed only one night at Green Park RV Resort. It didn’t have a website but I called and the gal was nice enough to explain how to come in and get set up. Everything seemed to work and we didn’t have any issues other than being parked next to a giant puddle. That was our fault though because we should have picked a different spot. We have dogs and took them to a grassy area which was very clear was where everyone took their dogs there…but didn’t clean up after them. There are tornado shelters there by the grassy area. We didn’t check out any of the facilities and left fairly early the next day. It was a nicer campground than another one we had looked at a little farther north a few miles. It was good for a short overnight stay.
