Weekend Paradise Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Lake Elsinore, California area and are looking for a lakeside camping experience, Weekend Paradise, located at 16006 Grand Ave, Lake Elsinore, CA 92530, USA, offers a unique setting right by the water. You can reach them at (951) 678-3715 or +1 951-678-3715 to inquire about availability and specific details for RV camping.
Weekend Paradise boasts a prime location directly adjacent to Lake Elsinore, providing campers with immediate access to the lake for swimming and other water-related activities. This lakeside environment is a significant draw for those seeking a recreational camping experience. The proximity to the water offers scenic views and the convenience of enjoying the lake at your doorstep. However, some reviewers have noted that being by the lake can also mean potential noise from boats during the day, which is something to consider for those seeking a quieter environment.
Publicly available reviews of Weekend Paradise highlight a few key aspects of the park. One recurring theme is the exceptional hospitality of the manager, Wade. Reviewers consistently describe him as "very nice," "hospitable," and "accommodating." This positive feedback regarding the management suggests a welcoming and helpful point of contact for campers, which can significantly enhance the overall experience, especially for first-time visitors to the area.
Beyond the management, the community atmosphere at Weekend Paradise also receives positive mentions. One reviewer noted that "the people staying there were equally friendly and helpful as well." This suggests a welcoming and supportive environment among the campers themselves, fostering a sense of community. Adding to this, a long-term camper named Mike is even mentioned for making coffee for everyone in the mornings, further emphasizing the friendly and communal vibe of the park.
In terms of affordability, one reviewer mentioned a rate of "$25 for a beach camp spot," indicating that Weekend Paradise can be a budget-friendly option for those looking for "RV parks near me" without breaking the bank. The price point, coupled with the lakeside location, could make it an attractive choice for families and individuals seeking an affordable getaway.
However, the reviews also point out some significant limitations and potential drawbacks regarding the park's facilities. One reviewer described the bathroom situation as potentially problematic when the park is full, noting only "2 stall/1 shower bathroom." This limited number of facilities could lead to congestion and wait times during peak occupancy. Furthermore, the same reviewer described the shower stall as a "disaster," stating it was so unappealing that they wouldn't use it even if paid. This is a serious concern for those who value clean and functional shower facilities.
Another facility issue mentioned was the water pressure in the sink, which was described as barely running. While seemingly minor, such inconveniences can detract from the overall comfort of the camping experience. On a more positive note, the presence of a "power hand dryer rather than paper towels" in the bathroom was appreciated by one reviewer.
The environment around the park also has some nuances to consider. One reviewer mentioned that the place is "a bit dusty with lots of cars driving in and out," so being prepared for dust is advisable. Additionally, as mentioned earlier, boat noise from the lake can be significant during the day. It was also noted that Weekend Paradise is "indeed a Hot Rod place," implying that there might be related noise or activity that could bother some individuals. Therefore, those sensitive to noise from traffic, boats, or hot rod enthusiasts should take this into account.
One reviewer recounted an experience of arriving after dark and finding no one at the "Stop & Pay" sign, with no clear instructions on payment or campsite locations. This lack of clear signage and immediate staff availability could be inconvenient for late arrivals. The reviewer relied on the kindness of another camper for guidance and bathroom access, and even left in the morning without anyone coming to collect payment, highlighting potential issues with the payment system or staffing during certain hours.
Considering the "RV parks near me" category, Weekend Paradise offers an affordable lakeside camping experience with a notably friendly manager and a welcoming community atmosphere. The direct access to Lake Elsinore is a significant advantage for water enthusiasts. However, potential RV campers should be aware of the limited bathroom and shower facilities, potential dust and noise from traffic and boats (and possibly hot rod activities), and the possibility of unclear procedures for late arrivals or payments. While the hospitality of Wade and the friendly community are strong positives, the limitations in facilities are crucial factors to weigh.
If you are considering Weekend Paradise for your RV camping needs, it is advisable to contact them directly at (951) 678-3715 or +1 951-678-3715 to inquire about the current condition of the facilities, the number and type of RV sites available, the rates, and any specific policies or recommendations for RV campers. Asking about typical noise levels and any specific events or activities that might generate additional noise could also be helpful in making an informed decision. While the reviews provide valuable insights, current conditions and availability can change.
In conclusion, Weekend Paradise in Lake Elsinore offers an affordable, lakeside RV camping option with a reputation for a hospitable manager and a friendly community. The direct lake access is a major draw. However, potential campers should be prepared for potentially limited and less-than-ideal bathroom and shower facilities, possible dust and noise from various sources, and the need to confirm payment procedures and site availability directly with the park management. Weighing these pros and cons will help you determine if Weekend Paradise is the right fit for your "RV parks near me" search in the Lake Elsinore area.

Weekend Paradise Reviews
Was $25 for a beach camp spot last night. I had called this place at least three times over the last month & never received a call back; very disappointing! I arrived after dark & the sign said "Stop & Pay" but there was no one around & no instructions as to cost or how to pay, & I wasn't even sure where the campsites were. I knocked on the door of a nearby RV & a lovely woman named Sparkle told me to go ahead & camp on the beach & the manager would be around for the money at first light. She also gave me the code for the bathroom. I was the only one there; can't imagine how the 2 stall/1 shower bathroom works out when all spots are filled! The toilets were clean but the shower stall is a disaster - you couldn't pay me to shower in there! Also the water in the sink barely ran. I like that it had a power hand dryer rather than paper towels. At 9 this AM, I was all packed up & ready to go & no one had come to get the money. I was going to go knock on the door of the place Sparkle said was the managers, then I saw a guy walking around with a cup of coffee & asked if he was the one I should pay. He introduced himself as Wade - very nice guy, as other reviews have said. If I wasn't an honest person, I could have driven right out without paying! All in all, it was passable (except for that shower!), but certainly not great.
Oct 30, 2024 · Open Arms DomesWe chanced upon this place when looking for a convenient lakeside camping site. Being it our first time ever going to this town, we were so glad we did! The reviews are true about Wade being very hospitable and accommodating. The people staying there were equally friendly and helpful as well. One of his long-term campers, Mike, even makes coffee for everyone in the mornings! Just amazing.About the location. The price is very affordable with working bathroom and showers. It is literally by the lake so if you have kids, they'll love swimming there. The place is a bit dusty with lots of cars driving in and out so best be prepared for this. The boats can also be very loud during the day. We were told that it is indeed a Hot Rod place. So, if these would bother you, well, better stay elsewhere. If not, and you like a family-like, safe atmosphere, you should stay here.
Apr 05, 2021 · KSHWe went there for a weekend. Wade was so welcoming and helpful! He really cares about his guests and that you are comfortable and happy. The facilities were perfect. Love the clubhouse! I can’t wait to go back.
Jun 17, 2019 · Brittney ContrerasMy family and I really enjoyed this place . My kids had a blast . We are definitely going back .
Aug 17, 2023 · Lori CervantesWade I will NEVER forget you and the hospitality me and my little one were shown when we were there. We will definitely be back. An earlier review warned that they may not be friendly to all people and I wish they responded to that review, maybe they didn't feel as though they had to. I came across a huge mix of people and everyone seemed to love Wade and Penny! I know everyone may have a different experienced wherever they may go though, me and my little one had an adventure here I won't soon forget. This place has all the basics you need to make a night camping by the lake and just a day chilling by the water enjoyable 💖
