Westwind Estates Introduce
Westwind Estates is a mobile home park located at 1399 Sacramento Ave in Broderick, California. While this platform primarily focuses on "RV parks near me," it is important to provide local users with a comprehensive and objective understanding of various residential options in their vicinity, including mobile home parks. The following introduction aims to analyze Westwind Estates based on the available customer reviews, addressing its environment, services, features, and any indications of its overall living conditions as perceived by past and present individuals connected to the community.
The limited information regarding the physical environment of Westwind Estates makes it difficult to form a detailed picture. One reviewer mentions their grandmother has lived there for a long time, suggesting the park has been established for a significant period. However, there are no descriptions of the landscaping, common areas, or the general aesthetic appeal of the community in the provided reviews. The focus of the feedback is primarily on management and the overall living experience rather than the physical attributes of the park itself.
In terms of services and management, the reviews paint a largely negative picture. One reviewer, whose grandmother resides in the park, states that "the office staff has always been lacking." This is a long-standing concern, according to their recollection. Furthermore, this reviewer highlights issues with financial management, noting "out of control" rent increases and the recent implementation of a "service fee" that they attribute to a "lack of competence" within the management. This suggests potential dissatisfaction with the cost of living at Westwind Estates and a perception of mismanagement that is impacting residents financially.
Another, more detailed review from a former resident who lived in Westwind Estates between 2010 and 2015 provides a starkly critical perspective on the park's management and the overall community environment. This reviewer claims that the manager at the time "doesn't manage the park but blames people who complain about her," indicating a potentially defensive and ineffective management style. They also assert that the park, which was once a "nice respectable place to live," has significantly deteriorated since they moved out, alleging it has become a "cesspool of Mexican gangs and drug dealers." The reviewer attributes this decline to events that began to unfold during their residency, suggesting a gradual but significant negative transformation of the community.
The former resident further elaborates on the perceived negligence of the management, stating that they "don't do It's job" and "ignore contracts" while failing to enforce them. This paints a picture of a community where rules and regulations are not upheld, potentially leading to a breakdown of order and a negative impact on the quality of life for residents. The most serious allegations include claims that the management "picks on residents they don't like (harassment)" and even "brings law suits to have them evicted," describing the park as a "crooked place." The strong advice given is, "Don't live there if you don't have to," which underscores the severity of the negative experiences reported.
Regarding features and amenities, the provided reviews are silent. There is no mention of any facilities or services offered within Westwind Estates, such as recreational areas, laundry rooms, pet policies, or community events. The lack of information in this area, coupled with the significant criticisms of management and safety, suggests that any potential amenities are either minimal or overshadowed by the more pressing concerns raised by the reviewers.
There is no promotional information whatsoever to be gleaned from these reviews. The feedback is overwhelmingly negative and serves as a cautionary message rather than an endorsement of the community. The issues raised, including alleged mismanagement, uncontrolled rent increases, safety concerns related to gangs and drug dealers, harassment of residents, and questionable eviction practices, would likely deter potential residents rather than attract them.
The strong and consistent negative themes present in both reviews, despite one being from a current connection to a long-term resident and the other from a former resident reflecting on a period of decline, paint a concerning picture of Westwind Estates. The allegations of managerial incompetence and negligence, coupled with serious safety concerns and financial grievances, suggest a community facing significant challenges. The racial undertones in one review, attributing the park's decline to a specific demographic, are also troubling and indicate potential social issues within the community. It is crucial to note that such statements are subjective and represent one individual's perspective, but they contribute to the overall negative portrayal of the park.
In conclusion, based on the limited but strongly negative customer reviews available, Westwind Estates Mobile Home Park in Broderick, CA, appears to be a community facing substantial issues related to management, financial practices, and safety. Residents and their families report concerns about the competence and conduct of the office staff, uncontrolled rent increases and questionable fees, alleged managerial negligence and harassment, and a perceived decline in the safety and overall environment of the park, with claims of gang and drug activity. The absence of any positive feedback or information about amenities further underscores the negative sentiment expressed. For local users seeking residential options, including those who might consider mobile home parks in their search for "RV parks near me" for longer-term stays, the information available strongly advises extreme caution and thorough investigation before considering Westwind Estates as a place to live. The experiences shared by these reviewers suggest a potentially unstable and unpleasant living environment.

Westwind Estates Reviews
My grandma has lived here for as long as I can remember. The office staff has always been lacking. The rent increases are out of control and now they are starting a "service fee" for lack of competence.

The manager doesn't manage the park but blames people who complain about.her. it was a nice respectable place to live but as someone else mentioned, it has become a cesspool of Mexican gangs and drug dealers since I moved out. It was just beginning to morph into what it is today. Management doesn't do It's job. Very negligent. Problems became rampant after Mexicans moved it. They ignore contracts and management won't enforce them.Management picks on residents they don't like( harrassement) brings law suits to have them evicted. Crooked place. Don't live there if you don't have to.
Oct 24, 2016 · vicki morinIt's great living here, it is really quiet here and very clean. There are a lot of strict rules, but that is why everything looks so clean and beautiful.

Jan 31, 2016 · Jeremy SzaboMy husband Willie Gray got hired in June of 2015.He was given in accurate information about his job descriptions stated he would be in charge of the maintenance also was told his housing was included later started being charged 540 per month. His racist supervisor Charlotte begin to harass him on a constant daily basis when he went to the emergency room for a spider bit he was written up.His other non black Co workers would call off on normal bases with no issues. Also when he took are 4 month daughter that was sick to the doctor and urgent care he was written up as well . There was also a pattern of his check being late.A resident has a Web site about west wind he posted that the prior maintenance guy left do to mold are family had been exposed to black mold and they knew about it prior to us moving in it all came to a head this year when on January 8th 2016 she was rushed to the Er for chocking and not able to breath she was diagnosed her with a respiratory infection could have been caused by mold. That was also posted on the Web sight and exactly one week later my husband was wrongfully terminated and was told there was a change in relationship he also was embarrassed and fired in front of co worker. He also was not given proper notice to leave the property so I don't recommend this area for your families we had a decent wonderful place to live before he got fired and we have returned to the same wonderful place to live this no way to treat people I'm extremely disappointed in lack of respect my husband was treated we have learned a valuable lesson that he can never get a job and live on the property.
