Halliday Village Mobile Home Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tampa, Florida area, Halliday Village Mobile Home, located at 102 Halliday Park Dr, Tampa, FL 33612, USA, is an option you might encounter. You can contact them at (813) 935-9476 or +1 813-935-9476. However, it is imperative to carefully consider the extremely negative feedback from recent customer reviews before making any decisions about residing at this location. These reviews raise significant concerns about the management and living conditions.
One review accuses the management of acting as "slum lords" who "collect rents and never manage the trees in the park." This negligence allegedly had severe consequences for a person whose house, even though not located within Halliday Village Mobile Home park itself, was damaged by a falling tree from the park, resulting in the loss of "everything" belonging to their son. The reviewer expresses strong condemnation, stating, "Shame on this parks management" for their lack of responsibility in maintaining the trees and the resulting damage to external property.
The second review is even more alarming, beginning with a stark warning: "So.DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!" The reviewer echoes the "slum lord" accusation and goes on to detail a series of alleged illegal and unethical practices by the management. These include the claim of a "faked an eviction notice" and falsely telling the court that the resident was not paying rent, despite the resident having evidence of attempting to pay and being denied. This suggests potentially fraudulent and unlawful eviction attempts, which should be a major concern for anyone considering living in this community as part of their search for "RV parks near me."
Furthermore, the reviewer alleges that their service animal was denied, which is a serious violation of tenant rights and fair housing laws designed to protect individuals with disabilities who rely on service animals. This indicates a potential disregard for legal obligations on the part of the management.
The review also claims that the management imposes "illegal charges" for items that should be included in the rent, suggesting potential financial exploitation of residents. Additionally, a highly unusual and concerning rule is mentioned: residents were allegedly told they "couldn’t use the bolt lock that came with the freakin trailer bc they need access to our house at all times and they don’t have the key for that." The reviewer's understandable refusal to allow unrestricted access to their property without their permission highlights a severe lack of respect for tenant privacy and rights.
Finally, the reviewer states that the management will "shut your water off with no notice if they so please," indicating a disregard for basic utility services and potentially creating significant hardship for residents. The reviewer concludes with a scathing rating of "0 out of 5 stars" and the emphatic statement "this place sucks."
Considering these two extremely negative and detailed reviews, there are no positive aspects of Halliday Village Mobile Home highlighted by the available feedback. The allegations of negligence leading to property damage outside the park, fraudulent eviction attempts, denial of service animals, illegal charges, violation of privacy, and arbitrary utility shut-offs paint a picture of a poorly managed and potentially hostile living environment.
Regarding the environment of Halliday Village Mobile Home, the first review specifically mentions the lack of tree management, which led to significant property damage. This suggests a potentially unsafe environment where natural elements within the park are not adequately maintained. The second review does not directly comment on the physical environment of the park beyond the issues with management practices and utility services.
Similarly, the provided reviews offer no information about the standard services and features one might expect from an "RV park near me" or a mobile home park. There is no mention of the availability or quality of hookups for RVs (water, electricity, sewer), laundry facilities, restrooms, showers, recreational areas, pet policies (beyond the alleged denial of a service animal), or the overall upkeep of the grounds and communal areas. Given the serious allegations about the management, it is reasonable to infer that the provision and maintenance of these services may also be subpar or unreliable.
Unsurprisingly, there is no mention of any promotional information or positive incentives to attract residents. The overwhelmingly negative nature of the feedback would likely deter anyone from considering Halliday Village Mobile Home without significant assurances of change in management practices and living conditions.
In conclusion, for local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Tampa, Florida, the available customer reviews for Halliday Village Mobile Home are exceptionally negative and raise very serious concerns about the integrity and practices of the management, as well as the potential living conditions within the park. The allegations of "slum lord" behavior, fake eviction notices, denial of service animals, illegal charges, privacy violations, and arbitrary utility disruptions should be taken extremely seriously by anyone considering this location. Prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and seek alternative options for "RV parks near me" unless they can obtain verifiable assurances of significant improvements in management and living conditions at Halliday Village Mobile Home.

Slum lords collect rents and never manage the trees in the park as my son lost everything from a tree in this park falling on his house that is not even in this park. Shame on this parks management
Oct 16, 2024 · Rachael BlankenshipSo.DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!. They are slum lords. Faked an eviction notice and told the court I wasn’t paying rent even tho we have evidence of us trying to pay and them denying. They also denied my service animal. And they will illegally charge you for things that should be included in rent. They told us we couldn’t use the bolt lock that came with the freakin trailer bc they need access to our house at all times and they don’t have the key for that. Umm that sucks make a key but you won’t be going into my property without permission they also will shut your water off with no notice if they so please. 0 out of 5 stars this place sucks.
Feb 01, 2025 · melodie CarrascoDenied me because of my registered emotional support animals even though BY LAW in the state of Florida, they can’t. I suffer from depression and anxiety and had my pets registered bc they help regulate my emotions but because i have no physical disability, it doesn’t count. They have been reported.
Jan 06, 2025 · Kassandra CarterI live in the trailer park beside Holiday Village and the three trailers behind my house are disgusting trash leaves pine needles Lems telephone poles laying on the ground you have to see it it is the three worst yards I've ever seen
Aug 30, 2021 · DerrickI Was denied because I didn't have rental history. So much for finding somewhere to start. It's definitely not somewhere I would want to be permanently. But to have a park full of immigrants and creeps and then deny young people trying to get out on their own because of rental history is ridiculous and unfair. And I have a child. I just wanted a place to start because everywhere else is expensive. I was denied because of rental history. At a trailer park. That's the most ridiculous excuse I've ever heard of.
