Wildflower RV Park

121 C R 7712, Devine, TX 78016, USA

4.0
Prices for the site is way too much for what is offered. Stickers are all over and will come in the rig with sand as there is nothing but sand and stickers. There is no breaker on the power. If I had seen the place prior to coming, I'd find another place to stay. If it rains it is going to be nasty going and coming. I don't begrudge anyone who wants to be in business as I was for 40 years but this place needs to be graveled and a place to sit without being in stickers and sand. I've stayed on Campgrounds that were $40 per note but they were blacktoped 100%. We won't be back. - Thomas Rawlings

Wildflower RV Park Introduce

For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Devine, Texas area, Wildflower RV Park, located at 121 C R 7712, Devine, TX 78016, USA, presents a location with mixed feedback from online reviews. Interested individuals can contact them at (830) 429-1604 or +1 830-429-1604 to gather further details and make their own informed decisions.

Based on the available customer reviews, Wildflower RV Park elicits contrasting experiences. One reviewer expresses significant dissatisfaction, particularly concerning the pricing relative to the amenities and the environment. This reviewer states that the prices are "way too much for what is offered." A primary concern highlighted is the ground surface, described as "nothing but sand and stickers," leading to stickers being tracked into the RV. The lack of a breaker on the power supply is also mentioned as a negative aspect. This reviewer further notes that the condition of the grounds would likely become "nasty going and coming" in rainy weather and suggests the park needs graveling and a designated area to sit without being in sand and stickers. Comparing it unfavorably to campgrounds with blacktop that cost the same, this reviewer explicitly states, "We won't be back."

In stark contrast, another reviewer recounts a positive experience during the February 2021 blizzard. This reviewer commends the "wonderful" family that owns the park, emphasizing their care for the guests' well-being during the severe weather. The owners are specifically mentioned for "making sure everyone was OK" and even bringing "warm food and coffee" to the reviewer when they had power issues. This positive experience led the reviewer to state, "I will definitely be back!!"

Considering these two reviews, the environment of Wildflower RV Park appears to be a key point of contention. The presence of sand and stickers as the primary ground cover is a significant drawback for one visitor, impacting cleanliness and potentially accessibility, especially in wet conditions. The lack of gravel or paved surfaces seems to be a major concern. However, the positive review does not contradict this environmental description, focusing instead on the exceptional care provided by the owners during an emergency situation. It's possible that the park's natural setting, while problematic for one guest, might be acceptable or even appealing to others who prioritize a more natural or less developed environment, provided the pricing aligns with the offered amenities.

Regarding services, the first review mentions the absence of a breaker on the power supply, which could be a safety or convenience concern for RV users. The second review alludes to "power issues" but focuses on the owners' response rather than the initial problem. Neither review provides comprehensive details about other standard RV park services such as water and sewer hookups, Wi-Fi availability, restrooms, showers, or laundry facilities. Local users will need to inquire directly about these essential services to determine if Wildflower RV Park meets their requirements.

Features of Wildflower RV Park are not extensively detailed in the provided reviews. The negative review highlights the lack of desirable features like paved surfaces or designated seating areas free from sand and stickers. Conversely, the positive review emphasizes the personal care and attentiveness of the owners, particularly during a crisis. This suggests that the owners' hospitality might be a key feature of the park. However, the fundamental infrastructure and amenities seem to be lacking according to one visitor. Potential features could include the size of the RV sites, the ease of access, and any unique aspects of the natural surroundings, although these are not elaborated upon in the given information.

Promotional information is absent from the reviews. Local users interested in learning about pricing, discounts for extended stays, or any special offers should contact Wildflower RV Park directly. It would be prudent to inquire about the daily, weekly, and monthly rates, as well as any additional charges for services or amenities. Given the significant concern raised about the pricing in one review, it is particularly important for potential visitors to get a clear understanding of the costs involved and what is included for that price.

In conclusion, Wildflower RV Park in Devine, Texas, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While one visitor expresses strong dissatisfaction with the environment, pricing, and lack of certain features, another highlights the exceptional kindness and support provided by the owners during a challenging weather event. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Wildflower RV Park warrants careful consideration and direct inquiry. It is crucial to contact the owners at (830) 429-1604 or +1 830-429-1604 to ask specific questions about the condition of the grounds, the availability and functionality of essential RV services (including power breakers), the features of the sites, and the current pricing structure. Understanding these aspects will enable potential visitors to weigh the reported drawbacks against the praised hospitality and determine if Wildflower RV Park is a suitable option for their stay in the Devine area.
