Woodland Mobile Homes Park Introduce
Welcome to Woodland Mobile Homes Park, located at 85 Boston Post Rd, Waterford, CT 06385, USA. Situated in Waterford, Connecticut, Woodland Mobile Homes Park offers a residential community for individuals seeking manufactured home living. For local users exploring options within the 'RV parks near me' category, particularly those considering a longer-term or more permanent living situation beyond typical recreational vehicle stays, Woodland Mobile Homes Park is a community of homes that may come up in their search. However, it is crucial for prospective residents to be aware of significant concerns raised regarding the infrastructure within the park, specifically the condition of its roads.
Based on the limited online reviews available, a primary and recurring issue highlighted by residents of Woodland Mobile Homes Park is the severely deteriorated state of the roads within the community. One resident described the road as "Horrible horrible road!" and noted that the potholes "just keep getting bigger every year." This suggests a long-standing and worsening problem with the park's infrastructure that is significantly impacting the daily lives of its residents.
The reviewer further elaborated on the attempted maintenance of these potholes, stating that they "get filled with dirt and rock that get washed away and eat at the hole making it worse than before." This indicates that the current methods of addressing the road damage are ineffective and may even be exacerbating the problem over time. The resident expressed the opinion that the town (Waterford) needs to take better care of these roads, implying that the responsibility for road maintenance might be a point of contention or confusion between the park management and the local authorities. The reviewer also raised the possibility of future legal action if the road conditions are not improved, underscoring the severity of the issue from the residents' perspective.
Another resident echoed these concerns, stating, "Omg, what does he do with the money he collects from all his tenents? The road is awful, thought my car was going to be swallowed by the Craters, no longer potholes, your forced to drive thru." This comment not only corroborates the description of the roads as being in extremely poor condition but also raises questions about the park management's use of funds collected from residents, implying a perceived lack of investment in essential infrastructure maintenance. The use of the term "Craters" further emphasizes the extreme size and hazardous nature of the road damage.
Both reviews specifically mention that Woodland Mobile Homes Park is a community where people reside permanently, with one reviewer noting that the population is "mostly elderly people." Poor road conditions can pose significant challenges and safety risks for all residents, but they can be particularly detrimental to the elderly, potentially affecting their mobility, access to transportation, and overall well-being. Navigating severely damaged roads can be difficult and potentially damaging to vehicles, adding to the frustrations of the residents.
Considering these reviews, prospective residents who encounter Woodland Mobile Homes Park while searching within the 'RV parks near me' category for a longer-term residential option should be acutely aware of the serious concerns regarding the park's road infrastructure. The descriptions provided by current residents paint a picture of a community where a fundamental aspect of daily life – safe and navigable roads – is significantly compromised. This issue has been ongoing and does not appear to be adequately addressed by the management or the local authorities, according to the residents' feedback.
To gain a clearer understanding of the current situation at Woodland Mobile Homes Park, it is crucial for prospective residents to contact the management directly at (860) 442-3334 or +1 860-442-3334. Inquiries should specifically address the condition of the roads within the park, any plans for repair or improvement, and the management's perspective on the responsibility for road maintenance. Asking about the frequency of road maintenance and any communication with the town regarding this issue would also be pertinent.
Visiting Woodland Mobile Homes Park in person is highly recommended for anyone considering residency. A site visit would allow prospective residents to directly observe the condition of the roads and assess the extent of the damage described in the reviews. Driving through the park would provide a firsthand experience of the road conditions and any potential hazards they may present. This visual and experiential evidence would be invaluable in making an informed decision about whether to reside in the community.
At this time, there is no information available regarding the environment, services, features, or promotional offers for Woodland Mobile Homes Park beyond the critical issue of the road conditions. Therefore, prospective residents should focus their inquiries on these aspects, as well as the management's response to the infrastructure problems. Asking about other services and amenities offered by the park, the general upkeep of the community beyond the roads, and the overall atmosphere would also be important considerations.
In conclusion, Woodland Mobile Homes Park in Waterford, CT, is facing significant challenges related to the poor condition of its internal roads, according to the available online reviews from residents. This issue appears to be a major concern for the community, particularly its elderly residents. For individuals considering Woodland Mobile Homes Park as a long-term housing option within the broader 'RV parks near me' category, a thorough investigation into the current state of the infrastructure and the management's plans to address these issues is essential. A personal visit to assess the road conditions firsthand is strongly advised before making any decisions about residing in this community.

Woodland Mobile Homes Park Reviews
Horrible horrible road! Pot holes just keep getting bigger every year. They get filled with dirt and rock that get washed away and eat at the hole making it worse that before. The town needs to take better care of these roads or they may have a lawsuit on their hands one day soon. These are permanent mobile homes where people reside, mostly elderly people.
