Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community Introduce
Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community, located at 929 Monarch Ln, Rochester, IN 46975, USA, presents a possible option for individuals searching for "RV parks near me" in the Rochester, Indiana area. They can be contacted at (574) 224-4663 or +1 574-224-4663. As a manufactured home community, its primary focus is on long-term residential living. However, it might offer possibilities for RVers seeking extended stays. To determine its suitability, we need to analyze the environment, potential services, and features, while also considering the insights from the available customer reviews, which present a mixed perspective.
The environment of Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community appears to have both positive and negative aspects, according to the customer reviews. One reviewer who toured the community found it to be "clean" and had a positive interaction with the staff member, Chris, who was described as "awesome" and candid. This suggests that the management maintains a certain level of cleanliness within the community, which is a positive indicator for potential visitors, including RVers. However, another resident's review paints a different picture of the immediate neighborhood environment within the community. This resident reports issues with a neighbor's children and dogs frequently entering their yard, leaving toys, parking in their driveway, using their trash can, and even writing with chalk on their property. Additionally, they mention that the neighbor's pit bulls are not kept on leashes. These are significant concerns regarding the respect for personal space and adherence to community rules within at least one part of the community.
Regarding services that Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community might offer to RVs, we can infer some possibilities based on its nature as a manufactured home community:
- Utility hookups: Individual lots designed for manufactured homes are typically equipped with essential utility connections, including water, sewer, and electricity. If RVs are accommodated, these same hookups would likely be available. The specifics of these utilities, such as the amperage of the electrical service, would need to be verified with the management.
- Road access: The community would have internal roads to provide access to the manufactured home lots. These roads would likely be navigable for RVs, although the width and turning radius might be factors for larger vehicles.
- Basic grounds maintenance: As a managed community, some level of groundskeeping and maintenance of common areas is expected. The positive comment about the community being "clean" supports this.
However, it's crucial to note that amenities commonly found in dedicated RV parks, such as restrooms and showers, laundry facilities, recreational areas (playgrounds, swimming pools, clubhouses), or organized activities, are not guaranteed in a manufactured home community unless specifically stated. One of the reviewers explicitly mentioned that they would have given the place 5 stars but for the fact that "they don’t offer short term leases to rent." This strongly suggests that Country Meadows primarily caters to long-term residents and may not be set up for the typical short-term stays associated with many RV parks. This could also imply a lack of short-term oriented amenities.
Features of Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community that might be relevant to those seeking "RV parks near me" could include:
- Potential for long-term stays: As a manufactured home community, the infrastructure is geared towards longer-term residency. This could be an option for RVers seeking an extended stay in the Rochester area, provided that such arrangements are permitted. The negative comment about the lack of short-term leases indicates that longer-term commitments might be necessary.
- Individual lots: The community has established lots designed for manufactured homes, which might also be suitable for accommodating RVs, particularly larger ones. The size and layout of these lots would need to be confirmed.
- Cleanliness of the community: The positive review mentioning the cleanliness suggests a general level of care for the overall appearance of the community.
- Potentially helpful staff: The positive interaction with Chris during the tour indicates that at least some members of the staff are helpful and informative.
The customer reviews provide a mixed picture. The positive review highlights the cleanliness and the helpfulness of the staff during a tour, which are encouraging aspects. However, the significant complaint from a resident regarding disruptive neighbors and a lack of respect for property boundaries is a serious concern that potential visitors should consider. This suggests that while the overall community might be clean and well-managed by the staff, there could be issues with neighborly conduct that affect the living experience.
The explicit statement that Country Meadows "don’t offer short term leases to rent" is particularly important for those searching for typical "RV parks near me" for shorter durations. This strongly implies that if RVs are accommodated at all, it would likely be for extended periods, potentially requiring a longer-term lease agreement. This lack of short-term options might make it unsuitable for transient RV travelers.
Given this information, individuals considering Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community as an option for their RV should take the following steps:
- Directly contact the management at (574) 224-4663 or +1 574-224-4663 to inquire specifically about their policies on accommodating RVs. Ask if they allow RVs for short-term or long-term stays, and what the minimum lease period might be.
- Inquire about the availability and type of utility hookups suitable for RVs at their lots.
- Ask about the size and layout of any lots that might be available for RVs to ensure they can accommodate your specific RV.
- Inquire about any amenities that might be available for RV guests.
- Specifically ask about community rules and regulations regarding noise, pets (especially leash rules), parking, and the conduct of residents, particularly in light of the negative neighborly experience reported in one of the reviews.
- If considering a longer-term stay, inquire about the lease terms, security deposits, and any other associated fees.
- If possible, request to visit the community to assess the available lots and the overall environment firsthand.
There is no promotional information provided for Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community. Any special rates or offers for RV stays, especially for longer terms, would need to be discussed directly with the management.
In conclusion, Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community in Rochester, Indiana, appears to be a clean and potentially well-managed community, with at least one positive interaction with the staff reported. However, the lack of short-term rental options and the concerning report of disruptive neighborly behavior are significant factors to consider. For those seeking "RV parks near me," it is crucial to directly contact the management to determine if they accommodate RVs, especially for the desired duration of stay, and to inquire about the community rules and environment. The information suggests a community geared towards long-term residency, and potential RVers should carefully weigh this against their needs and the reported negative experiences of at least one resident.

Country Meadows Manufactured Home Community Reviews
The neighbors kid and dogs are constantly in my yard. Leaving toys everywhere in my yard and on my steps. They park in my driveway and use my trash can. I have ask them several times to stop..But they don't. Kids write with chalk on my steps and driveway. Their pitbulls aren't on a leash.
Mar 22, 2025 · PamCommunity was clean, walked in to tour and worked with Chris. He was awesome, answered all our questions, showed us few homes available, great candor. Would give this place 5 stars but they don’t offer short term leases to rent.
Feb 11, 2025 · Dy LanExcellent trailer park, very well maintained, great for families, clean excellent managers, great for all people, big family or small, Rent to own also all at affordable prices,10 + rating the best in Indiana,in my opinion
Jun 20, 2020 · Harry SturgeonCozy and lovely neighborhood, lots of families, and plenty room for more. Some good people in the office. Newest management is very creative in getting tenants to interact with them. Although I wish they would help more on our side of the court, not just where they're putting the new trailers.
Jan 16, 2025 · Nancy DobbinsFirst of all you’ll pay more in lot rent than you do for your mortgage by like double. When we originally started looking in February of this year it was $499 and then when our application got accepted at the end of March it was $529. It’s also disclosed that it will go up every year. That includes nothing there is no perk other than you just get to have the trailer hooked up there. They don’t do the yards, they don’t provide any utilities. We very much regret moving here. My boyfriend, 7 month old daughter, and I just moved here at the end of March, and it hasn’t been anything but a nightmare. We have the most disrespectful neighbors ever. We have contacted the office multiple times and the regional manager about the problems. We get no response and nothing has been done to resolve the issue. If you want to be kept up until ungodly hours every weekend, have dogs run up to you off leash, and have little kids running around calling you a b**** because you asked them to turn music down outside because it’s 9pm on a Tuesday while nothing is done about it this is the place for you!!!!!
