Several concerning reviews paint a picture of significant issues related to the condition of some rental units within Wythe Mobile Home Park- Holston Road. One reviewer explicitly states that "these tented trailers are not fit for a dog to live in," highlighting potentially severe habitability problems. This individual details a multitude of issues, including non-functioning utilities such as stoves and furnaces, the absence of working lights with exposed wires hanging from ceilings, and the use of plastic instead of proper windows. The reviewer also mentions a lack of updates or repairs despite promises from the landlord, suggesting a pattern of neglect.
Furthermore, this review raises serious safety and legal concerns, referencing the obligation of landlords to ensure rental properties are safe and livable before leasing them to tenants. The presence of exposed wires and non-functional essential utilities could pose significant safety hazards. The reviewer claims that while some owned units within the park might be in better condition, "over half are junk in and out," indicating a potentially widespread issue with the overall condition of the properties.
The reviewer strongly urges intervention from health and safety authorities to inspect the trailers and ensure that tenants are placed in decent, upgraded living spaces while necessary renovations are completed. The sentiment expressed is one of frustration with the high rent charged for units that are described as being in disrepair and hazardous, with "everything tore up" and "nothing done."
Another review echoes concerns about the landlord's property maintenance practices. This individual notes that when renters move out and leave belongings behind, the landlord "just sets it outside and does nothing about it." This suggests a lack of attention to the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the park grounds, potentially impacting the aesthetic appeal and potentially creating further issues over time.

Wythe Mobile Home Park- Holston Road Reviews
These tented trailers are not fit for a dog to live in. Nothing working ,No update . Person renting are letting people in that has not cleaned or. No lights but Wire hanging in ceilings. The stoves don't work. Windows are plastic. Furnaces don't work. The lady promises to get her husband to do this. And this is done bought . But yet not put in or finished. There is a law You don't rent to a tennet unless updated to safety and livable . the only ones that are owned may be. But over half are junk in and out. Health and Safety need to come and check these trailers. And make the renters put a tennet into a descent trailer till the other is upgraded to live in. You going to rent . keep up the place. And rent is to high to put you in something that has not been redone . Everything tore up. Nothing done. Hazzard.
