Badgerland Campground Reviews
Was a great place for our weekend dance competition stay, mellow atmosphere and bathrooms/showers were very clean. We don't have younger kids anymore, but it looked like they were having a blast at the playground/gaga ball pit that was across from us. The pull through site was very convenient. I will warn if u have a bigger rig, plan for the driveway... if your directions make u turn right it's a bit of a turn in. We have an older 38' and it was a mission. I'll be sure to set my rv maps to come the other way haha. But one of the campground staff came out and helped get us in! Really, from the moment we got there, everyone was so friendly and helpful!! Wish I had more time to relax while I was there. We did get to use the nice firepit for our site one night ;) Maybe a visit outside of comp weekend is necessary. Thanks to the campground, we will see you next year!
Apr 14, 2025 · Ashley CouillardWow, what’s neat campground. The best campground so far we experienced. The showers and the bathrooms were so clean, really clean. The host Hank, amazing person and he wants to make sure everything is well. The Bar was so fun. Very friendly environment and they even put the soccer game for me and the locals and regulars were cheering with me. It was nice to experience with them this couple of hours. We wish we could stay there longer. Definitely will stay there next time we visit the area. Top notch facilities, friendliness, and environment.
Jun 21, 2024 · Mauricio TormenI enjoyed the campground and the bathrooms were extremely clean. Very quiet serene area. Gravel drives for RV spots which held up great during a bad thunderstorm and heavy rain. Customer service was outstanding. Easy location to find and close to Madison. My only concern was the shower facility was extremely clean but not handicap accessible. Must walk stairs and no handicap showers with rails. The shower was small and dark until I figured out how to turn on the lights. I am a disable veteran and always watch for accessibility. I was very happy to be parked by the bathroom. No free showers nor WiFi. Must pay for both extra cost. I would recommend this campground as there is a big swim hole for the kids and play area. I would come back even with the extra costs. This was a last minute I want to go camping and they had openings. Happy camping! Thank you staff for a great weekend.
Jun 24, 2024 · LGTERIWe visited this campground on job assignment. The manager, Chris, was extremely nice to my family. He went the extra mile to accommodate us. We were there to work, but it felt more like a vacation. We were warmly invited to participate in their Halloween activities, which they held on the weekends leading up to Halloween. It was a blast! Their haunted hayride was incredible. My toddler got a ton of candy trick or treating and had the most amazing time with everyone. I bet they do holidays events for other seasons that are just as fun, but I can personally recommend October! All of the seasonal campers were friendly and had good things to say about the campground. They have great amenities, and these folks know how to have a good time. If I was a seasonal camper, I'd park it here. As a traveler, I'd venture off my route to stay here again.
Jan 19, 2024 · Lauren OakleySmall, crowded but nice park however owners lack customer service skills, are rude, and are poor at communicating. Only seem to appreciate seasonal guests and not so much the weekenders. Office is usually empty and no one answers the phone in a timely manner if you need something. Save your money and choose one of the many other campgrounds that are friendlier and have so many more amenities for the $$. Many of the campsites here are right next to a busy highway which takes away from the “camping” experience.
