Nice weekend at this beautiful park. The modern cabins was awesome. My daughter and I were there for the Women in the Wilds event. It was cold and raining but still had a blast. And the cabin was so warm and cozy when we got back to it. We have done the bog trail in former visits as well as the pontoon tour. We have also stayed in the campground and it is very nice as well. Love this park. - Susan Siford

While the specific amenities of the modern cabins aren't detailed in the reviews, they likely offer a comfortable and well-equipped base for exploring the park.

Another reviewer highlighted the appeal of the "old CCC cabins," referring to cabins constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps, a public work relief program from the 1930s. These historic cabins are described as "very cozy" and come equipped with desirable features such as a fireplace, a kitchen, and bunk beds.
