Mar 22, 2025 · Jean RiceAwesome KOA! This family run rv park, checks all the boxes. Professional, very clean, impeccably maintained, solid fast free wifi, the best laundry facilities, and a beautiful property to boot! I spent 6 weeks here on an extended business trip. If I’m near here again, I will be staying at this KOA.
Nov 09, 2024 · david bryantWe stayed at the Buffalo KOA for five days. Pure enjoyment our campsite was by a beautiful creek. Our campsite was level everything was clean and neat. The family who ran the KOA were extremely helpful and nice. If we’re out that way again, we will definitely stay there.
Oct 11, 2024 · Danita HenrySadly disappointed. We checked in after a long day of driving and the process was easy enough but that's where the good ends. When we get to our site there was a 40 foot construction trailer sitting in the campsite next to us with equipment having sharp edges laying all over it. A few hours later the truck returned and was noisily hooked up to the trailer. Very unsafe for kids and pets. I called and left a message for owner/manager to call me without any response. I called back 5 hours later and spoke with the powers that be and asked had she gotten the message for someone to call me. The lady confirmed she had but didn't see a need to give the simple courtesy to return my call. I asked her was she aware of the huge construction trailer beside our campsite and once again she confirmed she knew. When I asked for a price concession she just blew me off. She said anyone who pays can stay to which I asked "So farm equipment, construction equipment, run down, beat up campers can stay"? Her response "If they pay, they can stay. We don't discriminate". So it's all about the money and not your guest? She also said they were really nice people to which I asked do they stay often and she said they had never stayed before... so how do you know they are really nice people??? This was not a KOA attitude, response or desire to accommodate their campers. All anyone at this campground had to do was return a phone call, apologize for the situation (not defend) and offer a concession because of the campsite situation. BTW: She said the people were staying in the hotel next door and only needed a place to park the truck and trailer. How crazy is that!!! How would she know if they were in the hotel or sleeping in the truck. Anyway we felt VERY unsafe. Beware of this campground.
Aug 23, 2024 · clay mclawhonWhat a great park. Their water was not on at the sites yet but we filled our fresh water tank. The Dog park was great. The river was very pretty. Our site was a nice size as we didn't unhook for the night. They also sell propane. The young lady who met us was amazing. What a great location and attention to detail. My only complaint was the showers were too small. I certainly can overlook that.
