Buncombe Trailhead Parking

Whitmire, SC 29178, USA

4.0
Considering the damage that Hurricane Helene caused to the Brickhouse recreation area it is still a great place to take your horses for some trail riding or exercising like in our case. Our two girls are temporarily non-saddleable so the short walk was perfect to exercise them. The portion of the Buncombe trail behind the campground did have its bridge over the creek destroyed but its still long enough for a short ride or hike! - Mike Askew
