5 big glittering, golden stars. This really was THE best camping spot I have ever been to (with ease of access). This privately-owned slice of Heaven is definitely going on my repeat list. With that being said, I need to admit that my first experience here was a singular one: NO ONE ELSE WAS ON THE GROUNDS! We took the middle fire pit and that left two, but I’m not sure how many total tent sites are considered to be here. We had the entire place to ourselves. And the weather was perfection. I don’t know how we got so lucky. The owner was fantastic, with quick, thorough responses. It is immediately evident that the grounds are not just cared-for, but loved. Also, and maybe not least important, the port-a-Jon is very well-maintained.Next time I come I’m bringing a fishing pole and my SLR with low-light lens. - Julie Crews
