Apr 28, 2025 · Kenneth MatthewsCherryHill is EXCEPTIONAL.The staff is very friendly - accommodating, the campground & sites are all very tidy & well maintained. There are SO many conveniences. The pool area & pool very clean with plenty of seating. The bath rooms & laundry facility were wonderful & SPOTLESS. Cleanest showers , bathrooms, laundry I have seen anywhere!!! They have on insight tour person everyday to help with navigating DC..she was incredibly friendly & very knowledgeable. She helped us figure out the metro, suggested attractions, she had maps, info & brochures, & was also able to get our metro cards set up for us & loaded with funds. They also offer their own tours right from campground. We did the "night monument tour". That also was EXCELLENT!! Tour bus, driver guide & sites were all great...it was one of the best tours we have ever done overall!I cannot say enough good about this place...it felt pricey at the onset but turned out to be well worth it!!
May 02, 2025 · Deborah HeilemannThis is a very nice campground! There are many amenities that are a blast. Several bath houses/bathrooms that are very clean and nice. There is a laundry facility that works well. There is a game room, swimming pools, play grounds, on site cafe (that delivers to your parking spot for free), a store that services basic things like simple medicines (lip balm) and drinks/food (milk, Gatorade, bacon). The people are very friendly and nice. It is a gated place that you need a pass to enter. Overall it is a very luxurious feeling camp ground that is a lot of fun for kids and families. It feels very safe and nice overall! We will stay here again if we ever travel through. The only down side for us personally was, being in a pop up, we were subject to the highway noise which can at times be a tad loud but not very bad. We are heavy sleepers and got used to it fast but wanted to mention it for people to plan their location, check their site map and request to be put away from it if it bothers you. That said out location was wonderful otherwise, we were right across from the bath house and 4 sites away from the playground as we requested. They did go above and beyond in putting us at our requested area! We just didn't look at the highway location in relation to the park which was our fault, again not a big deal but might be for some.To simply it: Its a very safe and fun place to stay! We highly recommend!
Apr 22, 2025 · michael allenWe enjoy staying here. Convenient access to both Baltimore and DC. The amenities are well- maintained. The 18-hole mini golf course is superb. We also used the picckleball court, pool, hot tub, sauna, arcade, walking trail, tractor ride. The facilities are nice. One thing to know, and it's not a downfall for us as we mostly tune it out, is its proximity to the highway. You can hear the airbrakes on trucks all hours, depending on site location of course.
Apr 20, 2025 · Diana FlemingA Great Place to stay! Easy check in. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Campsites are very well laid out and plenty of space between sites. It’s great that they have a metro bus stop right on the campground to take you to the train station to get to DC. They also offer their own tours that leave directly from the campground. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you’re looking to see DC. Plenty of things for the family to do right on the grounds. Splash pads, pools, miniature golf, play grounds! Can’t say enough about this campground!
