Embrace the Beauty and Tranquility of the Mesick Area
Chris’s RV Campground is located near Mesick, Michigan, an area known for its natural beauty. While specific details about the immediate environment aren't extensively described, the mention of a "beautiful area" suggests that campers can expect to be surrounded by the scenic landscapes typical of northern Michigan. This could include wooded areas, proximity to lakes or rivers (implied by "water access"), and a generally peaceful natural setting. The Northwoods region of Michigan is renowned for its forests, lakes, and opportunities for outdoor recreation, and Mesick serves as a gateway to these natural attractions.
The effort by the owner to keep the campground "quiet and cozy" indicates a focus on creating a serene and intimate atmosphere for guests. This suggests that the campground might be smaller in size and emphasize a more relaxed and peaceful camping experience, potentially appealing to those looking to escape the noise and crowds of larger campgrounds.
Services and Amenities: Full Hook-Up and Water Access Highlighted

These features are particularly attractive to RV travelers who prefer the convenience and comfort of having all essential utilities readily available at their campsite.
While other specific amenities are not detailed in the provided reviews, it is reasonable to assume that a campground catering to RVs would also offer basic facilities such as a dump station for waste disposal. The focus on a quiet and cozy environment might imply a more laid-back approach with fewer extensive recreational facilities compared to larger, more activity-oriented campgrounds.

This could be particularly appealing to retired couples or individuals seeking a peaceful and well-serviced RV camping experience.
However, it is crucial to carefully consider the feedback regarding the owner's management style and the potential impact of the campground's preference for a very quiet environment. Larger families or groups who anticipate a higher level of activity during their stay might find that this campground is not the best fit. Chris’s RV Campground Reviews
We spend a week here every year and loved it. The area is beautiful and the camp spots are full hook-up and water access. Chris is a great owner and trys to keep the campground quiet and cozy. The cons, she's not very understanding to many situations and is rather rash when she feels a rule has been broken. And there are a couple new rules for the camp that are rather off putting. It's a great campground for a retired couple wanting silence. Not so much for larger families getting together (we had 3 sites). I feel like we were just to much activity for her liking with how small and private the campground is.
