If you're searching for "camping near me" in the Epsom, New Hampshire area, Circle 9 Ranch Campground, located at 39 Windymere Dr, Epsom, NH 03234, is one option you might come across. To help local users make informed decisions, we've compiled an objective summary based on recent customer reviews available online. You can contact the campground directly at (603) 736-3111 or their mobile number, +1 603-736-3111, for any specific inquiries.
It's important to note that the recent feedback regarding Circle 9 Ranch Campground raises significant concerns that potential visitors should be aware of. Multiple reviews paint a picture of a less-than-ideal experience, particularly concerning management, infrastructure, and the overall atmosphere.
One reviewer, who performed vehicle detailing services for the owners, described them as "extremely disrespectful" and "completely unreliable." This individual reported issues with scheduled appointments being canceled without communication and generally rude behavior. While this experience is from someone providing a service rather than a camper, it does raise questions about the management's professionalism and communication.
More directly relevant to those seeking "camping near me," another reviewer who stayed at the RV park for ten months described it as "absolutely the worst RV park I've ever stayed at." This lengthy and detailed review outlines several serious issues. The reviewer specifically called out the manager, Roxy, as "the most disrespectful manager I've ever encountered," alleging that long-term renters were treated poorly and made to feel unwelcome.
The same reviewer also reported significant problems with the campground's infrastructure and safety. They mentioned receiving two boil advisories due to e-coli contamination in the water supply during their ten-month stay. When questioned, the campground allegedly disputed the state's testing results, while the state supposedly indicated that such occurrences were regular. This is a serious health and safety concern that potential campers should consider.
Further infrastructure issues were highlighted, including frequent errors in auto-billing for electric usage and inadequate power supply, with low voltage being common. These issues could lead to unexpected costs and inconvenience for campers, particularly those relying on consistent and sufficient power for their RVs or other devices.
The review also raised concerns about safety, mentioning that police serving warrants occurred a few times during the initial months of the reviewer's stay, despite supposed required background checks. This could be unsettling for campers seeking a secure and peaceful environment.
Regarding the camping sites themselves, the reviewer noted that even the sites advertised as "your own private oasis" were still "packed in like sardines," suggesting a lack of privacy despite the description. This contradicts the idea of a spacious and secluded camping experience that some might be looking for when searching for "camping near me."
Finally, the reviewer described a negative interaction with the manager regarding their departure date, feeling that their long-term stay was not respected and that their site was prematurely booked for someone else. This suggests potential issues with communication and the management's approach to long-term residents.
The concluding sentiment of this detailed review was a strong recommendation to avoid Circle 9 Ranch Campground "at all costs," suggesting that the perceived lack of nearby alternatives with winter water access might be the only reason the campground can operate despite these issues.
Given these overwhelmingly negative recent reviews, it is difficult to objectively highlight positive aspects of Circle 9 Ranch Campground based solely on this information. The feedback focuses primarily on significant problems related to management conduct, potential health and safety issues with the water supply, inadequate infrastructure (electricity), and a lack of privacy at the campsites.
For local users in the "camping near me" category, this information serves as a cautionary overview. While the campground exists at the provided address and phone number, the experiences reported by recent customers suggest a need for significant improvements in several areas. If you are considering this campground, it would be prudent to contact them directly with specific questions based on the concerns raised in these reviews and to potentially seek out more recent feedback from other campers.
As no positive reviews or promotional information were provided in the given data, this introduction focuses on presenting an objective picture based on the negative feedback available. It is crucial for potential campers to be aware of these reported issues when making their decisions about where to camp in the local area.
When searching for "camping near me," it's always wise to look at a variety of sources and consider the most recent feedback to get a comprehensive understanding of what to expect. In the case of Circle 9 Ranch Campground, the provided reviews strongly suggest proceeding with caution and perhaps exploring other options in the vicinity if your priorities include respectful management, reliable infrastructure, and a peaceful camping environment.

Circle 9 Ranch Campground Reviews
I did some vehicle detailing for the owners of this campground and they are extremely disrespectful! Completely unreliable book appointments to have vehicles detailed then don't message you back. One of the owners Ernie schedule detailing on a Sunday to have three details done downgraded it to two then a couple days before blocked me even though I had done work for them before. So if any vehicle detail is out there see this do not do work for them you cannot rely on them and they are very rude well!
Apr 30, 2025 · Brian OneilAbsolutely the worst RV park I've ever stayed at. Roxy is the most disrespectful manager I've ever encountered, she treats every long term renter as if they are criminal low life, I've never felt more unwelcomed. In my 10 months there, I received 2 boil advisories because of e-coli. When I asked the campground about it, they said it's false lab results and the state was wrong in their testing, when I asked the state, they said it's a regular occurrence there. Multiple times the office messed up auto billing my electric usage and called asking if I planned to pay my electric. The power there is inadequate, even by campground standards, low voltage (under 100 volts per leg) being very common. During the first several months there, cops serving warrants happened a few times, despite supposed required background checks. The sites that claimed to be "your own private oasis" are just longer sites that are still packed in like sardines, the sites couldn't be any closer if they tried. Despite me telling the manager that I had no departure date and did not intend to leave any time soon, she called to "confirm" my departure date the next month and then told me she already had my site booked for someone else and made a big stink when I reminded her I didn't give her a departure date. She told me she wouldn't have put it in there if I hadn't said something, then asked me what my new departure date was. When I told her I didn't have one, she said "ok, I'll just put it [6 months out] and to remind her when it got closer."This campground knows they are the only place in the area with water all winter (when the pump isn't broken, and despite e-coli contamination) and they can treat people terribly because there is little to no other choices nearby. This campground should be avoided at all costs.
Nov 03, 2024 · Alex HoppleThe photos on the website are not recent. Our site 30 sat next to a lovely mosquito filled swamp. There was no cover on the sewer pipe there or many other places so every where you go there is a hint of sewer gas. Want to take the kids to the playground? Don’t mind the stench from the two large trash dumpsters at 90 degrees. No matter the set was so dirty the kids didn’t dare. Let’s go to the pool. Just over look the black fungus growing on the bottom. Perhaps sit a spell on one of the many rotten picnic tables. All in all not very inviting and don’t back up when you leave. The gate at the entry closes without warning. It is strong enough to brake windshields. No safety sensor. Oh and the only good reviews you may see are from the many full time residents of the park. They must enjoy the cheap rates.
Aug 04, 2024 · Jeremy TatroThis place is horrible! Sites are very close together. If you have slides, be prepared to be within inches of your neighbor. Water pressure is terrible. And they blame your filter. Our’s was brand new! Lots of drug deals going down in park. The dumpsters are usually overflowing. They charge 50 dollars a month for a dog and there is no dog park or waste stations? The restrooms are disgusting as are the shower and laundry facilities. Thankful we did not need them. Roxy at front desk is very rude and actually called us when we checked out, and after she sent invoice, to ask if we moved our site?!!! Runaway!! No customer service, sketchy people. The pond and tenting area are pretty but everything else is not nice.
Jul 15, 2024 · ValerieDump. Restrooms were disgusting. Laundry room filthy. Woman at front desk extremely rude. We had no water pressure when we hooked up. Tried to blame our filter. It was brand new. Then she asked if I knew that it was the little filter inside! Water pressure was always fluctuating and sometimes no water at all. Duh!Sites are small and shared grass area. If you have slides, they will be within inches of neighbor. Sketchy people, skunky pot smells all the time. Witnessed many drug deals going on. It could a nice place as the pond and tent area is pretty and location is central to many things.Roxy, at front desk actually called us a few hours after we checked out to asked if we moved sites! She had emailed our invoice! 50 bucks a month for dog and there aren’t even waste stations for poop! Don’t stay here. Luckily we didn’t need restrooms/showers or laundry.
