Cherry Estates Mobile Home Park Introduce
Cherry Estates Mobile Home Park, situated at 2139 Cherry Blvd, Sturgeon Bay, WI 54235, USA, is a residential community dedicated to manufactured homes. While this introduction is presented under the "RV Parks Near Me" category, it is vital to clarify that Cherry Estates is a long-term mobile home park for permanent residents, not a transient RV campground. However, for those exploring a range of housing options, including manufactured homes, in areas where RV parks might also be sought, Cherry Estates offers a distinct residential alternative. The available information strongly indicates a community undergoing significant positive changes. This introduction will provide an objective overview of the park's environment, services, features, and its position within the local housing market, based on current resident and management feedback.
Cherry Estates Mobile Home Park is located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, a city celebrated for its scenic waterfront, maritime heritage, and as a gateway to the popular Door County peninsula. The community's current environment is characterized by a strong commitment to improvement and cleanliness. Recent reviews from residents highlight a marked positive transformation. One long-term resident explicitly states, "There is no garbage or drug activity. We have cleaned this place up and even paved the roads. Putting in light posts and newer trailers." This indicates a proactive effort to enhance the physical appearance and safety of the park, moving away from previous challenges. The paving of roads and installation of new light posts significantly contribute to a more well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing environment.
The manager's comments reinforce this, emphasizing that "alot of changes have been made and more updates coming." This continuous improvement suggests a dynamic and evolving community focused on providing a better living experience. The goal is to cultivate a "family community" where "everyone gets along," which points to a neighborhood aiming for harmony and positive social interactions among residents. The presence of newer trailers also indicates an ongoing modernization of the housing stock within the park.
As a manufactured home park, Cherry Estates provides the fundamental services required for permanent residency. This includes individual home sites with necessary utility connections for water, sewer, and electricity. Residents typically own their manufactured homes and lease the land (lot rent) from the park management. The transformation efforts suggest that the management is actively investing in and providing enhanced services for the community.
Key service improvements include the paving of roads, which dramatically improves accessibility and the overall appearance of the park. The installation of light posts enhances safety and visibility, particularly during nighttime hours. These infrastructure upgrades are direct benefits to the residents, contributing to a more comfortable and secure living environment. While specific amenities like a clubhouse, playground, or pool are not detailed in the provided information, the focus is clearly on foundational improvements that elevate the quality of life within the community.
The role of the manager is highlighted as central to these positive changes. The manager’s assertion, "I do my job. Some ppl just don't listen," indicates active oversight and a commitment to enforcing community rules, which is crucial for maintaining the improved environment and fostering a family-friendly atmosphere. This strong, hands-on management approach is a key feature, demonstrating dedication to the park's well-being and resident satisfaction.
The most compelling feature of Cherry Estates Mobile Home Park is its ongoing transformation under new ownership. This transition has evidently led to a significant "clean up" of the area, addressing previous issues like "garbage or drug activity." This proactive approach signals a clear commitment to fostering a safe and desirable living space. The emphasis on creating a "family community" where "everyone gets along" suggests a deliberate effort to cultivate positive neighborly relationships and a harmonious social environment.
The presence of both long-term residents and newer elements (like "newer trailers") indicates a community that is evolving while retaining its established core. The collective pride in the improvements is evident in the resident's statement, "Please don't be commenting negative things when you don't even live here," which reflects a strong sense of ownership and defense of their community's progress. This resident perspective underlines the positive impact of the changes on the existing community and the strong sense of advocacy among those who live there.
The proactive management in dealing with "trouble" or non-compliance is also a notable feature, ensuring that the community remains focused on its goals of cleanliness, safety, and harmony. This focus on maintaining high standards is essential for a family-oriented community.
For local users in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, and the surrounding Door County area, Cherry Estates Mobile Home Park would be promoted as a significantly improved and desirable option for long-term manufactured home residency. The key selling points would be the new ownership and the tangible updates already completed, such as paved roads and new lighting, as well as the promise of "more updates coming." This communicates a vision of continuous improvement and a commitment to the residents.
The park's positioning as a "family community" where "everyone gets along" is a powerful draw for individuals and families seeking a stable and friendly neighborhood. The active management, which ensures a clean and well-ordered environment free from undesirable activities, would also be a major promotional advantage.
Its location on Cherry Blvd in Sturgeon Bay provides residents with convenient access to the city's myriad amenities. I have lived here for many years and we have new owners now. There is no garbage or drug activity. We have cleaned this place up and even paved the roads. Putting in light post and newer trailers. Please don't be commenting negative things when you don't even live here.
Apr 20, 2021 · Ashley TiplerI have lived here for many years. Since we have new owners alot of changes have been made and more updates coming. As the manager I am upset about the comments. I do my job. Some ppl just don't listen. If you want to live in a family community this is the place. Everyone gets along here.
