Coastal Country Riverside Resort Introduce
For local Missouri residents seeking "camping near me" with the allure of riverside scenery and proximity to natural attractions, Coastal Country Riverside Resort, located at 84 Cat Hollow Trail Unit B, Lebanon, MO 65536, USA, presents a destination with a range of reported experiences. Situated near the beautiful Bennett Springs, this resort offers cabin accommodations and RV sites, promising a getaway immersed in nature. However, recent customer reviews present a dichotomy of experiences, which local users should carefully consider when planning their visit.
When local users search for "camping near me," they often have various expectations, from serene natural environments and comfortable accommodations to friendly service and convenient amenities. Coastal Country Riverside Resort, with its location near Bennett Springs State Park, known for its stunning scenery and trout fishing, holds the potential to meet these expectations. The mention of "riverside" in the resort's name suggests a picturesque setting along a waterway, further enhancing its appeal for those seeking a tranquil outdoor escape.
The environment surrounding Coastal Country Riverside Resort is lauded in one review as "very beautiful" with "amazing scenery." The proximity to Bennett Springs, with its clear waters cutting through the landscape, is highlighted as a significant natural attraction. The opportunity to potentially spot wildlife, such as an eagle, adds to the environmental appeal for nature lovers. The resort's location along a river suggests possibilities for fishing, wading, or simply enjoying the sights and sounds of flowing water. However, another review paints a starkly different picture regarding the cleanliness of the accommodations, which, if accurate, would significantly detract from the overall environmental enjoyment of the stay.
The services offered at Coastal Country Riverside Resort appear to include both cabin rentals and RV sites. One positive review mentions "full hookups" for RVs, indicating the availability of water, electricity, and sewer connections. This same review also praises the "fantastic shower house" with "showers of unlimited hot water" and "free laundry," suggesting well-maintained and convenient facilities for RV and potentially cabin guests. Furthermore, this reviewer appreciated the availability of Wi-Fi and good phone service, which can be important for staying connected. The mention of staff cooking meals for guests is a notable service that could enhance the experience. However, the negative review details serious cleanliness issues within a rented cabin, including blood stains, white powder in the bathtub, unclean linens and towels, and general dirtiness. This discrepancy in reported cleanliness is a critical point for local users to consider. The update from the negative reviewer also mentions a messy laundry room, contradicting the positive account of laundry facilities.
The features of Coastal Country Riverside Resort seem to be centered around its location and the potential for a comfortable stay. The proximity to Bennett Springs State Park is a major feature, offering access to excellent trout fishing, hiking trails, and beautiful natural scenery. The riverside location provides opportunities for relaxation by the water and potential wildlife viewing. The availability of full hookups for RVs and the reported Wi-Fi and phone service are convenient features. The positive review highlights the comfortable beds and the friendly and helpful staff, who seem to foster a family-like atmosphere. However, the serious cleanliness issues reported in another review, coupled with accusations of poor customer service from the resort management in response to the complaint, are significant negative features that cannot be ignored. The discrepancy between the positive and negative accounts suggests a potential inconsistency in the maintenance and service standards at the resort.
Currently, there is no explicitly stated promotional information for Coastal Country Riverside Resort in the provided text. However, based on the nature of such establishments, potential promotions for local users might include:
- Weekend specials or discounts for Missouri residents.
- Packages that combine accommodation with local activities, such as fishing at Bennett Springs.
- Off-season rates for cabin or RV site rentals.
- Group discounts for families or friends traveling together.
- Loyalty programs for repeat visitors from the local area.
Given the conflicting recent reviews, local users are strongly advised to inquire directly with the resort about their current cleaning protocols, customer service standards, and any available promotions before making a booking. Checking recent online reviews on multiple platforms might also provide a more comprehensive and up-to-date picture of the guest experience.
The customer reviews for Coastal Country Riverside Resort present a stark contrast. One reviewer describes a "very beautiful place" with amazing scenery, comfortable beds, friendly staff, great Wi-Fi and phone service, and even home-cooked meals, expressing a strong desire to return. This paints a picture of an idyllic and welcoming retreat. However, the detailed negative review outlines serious concerns about the cleanliness of a rented cabin, including potential health hazards and poor customer service response from the management. The update from this reviewer confirms that a refund was received through a third-party booking platform due to the uncleanliness, and it details further negative experiences such as a messy laundry room and the resort's public response to the complaint. This significant discrepancy in feedback suggests that the quality of accommodation and service at Coastal Country Riverside Resort may be inconsistent or that there have been recent issues that local users should be aware of.
In conclusion, Coastal Country Riverside Resort near Lebanon, MO, offers a potentially beautiful setting with riverside access and proximity to Bennett Springs State Park, making it an appealing "camping near me" option for local users. The resort features cabin rentals and RV sites with full hookups, and some guests have reported comfortable accommodations, friendly staff, and good amenities like Wi-Fi and laundry. However, recent serious allegations of uncleanliness and poor customer service from another guest cannot be overlooked. Local residents considering a stay at Coastal Country Riverside Resort should carefully weigh the positive and negative feedback, seek the most current reviews from various sources, and consider contacting the resort directly to inquire about their current standards and policies to ensure a satisfactory experience. The potential for a wonderful getaway is there, but it is crucial for local users to be well-informed before booking.

Coastal Country Riverside Resort Reviews
Very beautiful place! The scenery was amazing! The beds were very comfy! I could not begin to tell you how nice everyone on staff was! Wi-Fi and phone service was amazing! Got to see an eagle up closer than I have before. The Bennett springs cutting through was beautiful. They cooked a couple meals while we were there also! You really feel like family here! Can not wait to go back!
Nov 26, 2024 · Collen WillisPaid over 430 dollars for a dirty cabin. There was blood all over bedroom door, dried drops of it in bedroom and bathroom. I was told it was nail polish (yep, nail polish during hunting season). My brother noticed sheets were not clean. There was white power all in the bathtub. Towels did not smell clean and had animal hair on them. Dried bugs and dust were all over the place. Also old coffee drippings on the cabinets.Update 11/25/2024 -1.) I received a refund from Vrbo this morning2.) I requested a refund of the $100 cleaning fee from Vrbo because the rental was not clean3.) I stayed in the area to teach my brother how to flyfish in Bennet Springs State Park. We are local to this area and have property on the Lake of the Ozarks we also rent using Vrbo. I would never let a tenant stay at our property in this condition4.) Photos have metadata. My credit card company, Better Business Bureau and Stay Neighborly are all aware of the time these photos were taken5.) We did not use the dryers on site because the laundry room was a mess - However, I do appreciate the other staff on site showing me where it was6.) We met the staff who lives on site for about 15 minutes while my brother played with their children. Never took them up on the offer to see the stretch of the river on the property. We got out very early after packing and getting ready to fish again Sunday7.) Coastal Country Riverside should be embarrassed by their lack of customer service and accusatory remarks made on a public forum to a customer.8.) I will let the public judge for themselves on whether or not they'd like to stay here
Nov 25, 2024 · Cassandra JonesI always loved this property in its previous rundown state. It was by far the roomiest resort for campers without being crammed like cattle like every other similar river resort nearby. I was nervous what new owners would do overhauling it. I finally got a group to go with me and it was amazing. The previously scummy yet lovable cabins were now amazing and all cleaned up inside and out. I didnt initially want luxury or anything special but I definitely dont want to go back to the properties previous state after staying in this intimate setting. The way they have setup the pavilion and common areas is awesome too. They played a movie on a projector in the pavilion at night and the staff and owner were so welcoming. My friends all thanked me for convincing them to come along. This is definitely Lebanon’s best kept secret. Cant wait to go back!
Aug 12, 2024 · Ronald BrehmLast summer (2023) my family rented a 8 person cabin at Coastal Country Resort (no-it’s no where near the ocean) for a family get together. For the 8 of us for 2 days/2 nights we had; 2 roll paper towels, 1 mini coffee maker, 4 coffe cups, 4 drinking cups, 1 hand towel and 1 dish rag, No dish drainer, No towel racks in bathroom, No toilet paper holder, 4 rolls of 1 ply smallest rolls possible toilet paper, no plunger, no bathroom trash bags, no extra kitchen trash bags, dining room table with 4 chairs.when you call the phone number for the resort you do not get the on location office-you get a off site phone service which you have to leave a message most of the time. so when the stool clogged and the coffee maker broke and overflowed (no mop) the only option was to walk to the office to get needed supplies. There were No handles on doors/drawers in kitchen-hard which made them difficult to open.no Night light in bathroom or anywhere. The upstairs (which had 2 full size beds) was only accessible via a wooden ladder built on the wall (not stairs-ladder) without nightlights it was very dangerous to climb down to use the restroom in the middle of the night.the outside was not maintained-tall grass everywhere, the gravel bar “beach” was just a rocky spot along the river.thankful there’s a restaurant at the beginning of the road (about 2 miles away) that we could go to.the prices were just too high for the lack of accommodations. maybe if they had the pool done and the cabins were better stocked it would have been a better experience.
Mar 11, 2024 · MorganI have brought my fiancé here numerous times for a getaway, and the staff has been nothing short of amazing! We are so appreciative of the cleanliness of the bathroom/shower area, as we prefer primitive camping. The owner has consistently went above and beyond for us! She recommended great spot for our tent, and even called us during one of our stays to warn us that there was a potential for severe storms and offered us shelter. We absolutely will continue to visit this beautiful area! The renovations and focus on the environment are a breath of fresh air! My fiancé and I cannot wait to see how the resort continues to grow!
