Country Acres Campground & Fun Park Reviews
I didn't know what to expect because of the mixed reviews, but we loved our stay! Nice, quiet, well kept. No sewer smell. Golf cart I reserved when booking worked great, kids loved the playground and jump pad. Trick or treat event was so fun. Alot of campers passed out candy and my kids had a blast. Office staff was kind and welcoming. I have nothing negative to say. We will definitely be back next year!
Oct 15, 2024 · Makenze LuskThis was our first time staying at the campground. The grounds were nice and kept up with. There was no noticeable smell of sewage. The only reason I’d give it 4 stars is we had an issue with our campsite which the general manager worked very hard to correct. It did take us a little while to fix but the accommodations were worth the wait. The kids had a lot of fun. We will be looking into another visit to the campgrounds.
Jul 28, 2024 · Steven CunninghamTent camped here for Labor Day weekend with our kids. Our kids enjoyed the pool, bounce houses/jumping pad, and fishing. Other than that, everything was broken/not available...splash pad for the kids was shut down for our whole stay along with the snack bar, the billiard room was "claimed" by a large group both nights, most machines in the game room were out of order, and we really wanted to rent a paddle boat...but the employee at the office where you rent them said they are all broken and can't be rented. In other words, don't base your stay off of what the website says they offer. Also, the campsite had an extremely bright street light shining on our campsite all night that made it very hard for us to sleep, enjoy the fire or see the stars 😞 Shower room only has two showers that I saw and it smelled SO bad in there, I didn't bother showering. Thankfully, this was our first time camping with our kids, so they didn't know what they were missing compared to other camps 😆 oh well. Wouldn't recommend, unfortunately
Sep 02, 2024 · Sarah MoatsWe had a short 2 night stay.Pros and cons noted below...CONS: we paid extra for a lakeside side. Beautiful views, however, they don't list or tell you the sanitary plant is next to the lot. It smelt awful! And the grinder within the plant was so loud. The water spout is a bifurcation on the neighboring lot, so the hoses wouldn't reach. We needed 3 hoses for the ability to have water hook ups. Not the best quality water- bring bottled. They offer golf cart rental. Both our neighbors and we had an issue. We were unable to rent when we got here due to lack of availability and we wete told to return in the morning. In the morning, they said they were unable to rent because people were still checking in. The office stated in order to rent, it must be attached to the initial reservation, so shouldn't they know how many are available based off the days reservation? Our friends were attempting to camp next to us but " the lady who does the reservations left for the day" so we weren't able to be helped. They ended up just booking whatever site was available online. The splash pad was closed down and the pool is small, merky, but serves it's purpose.PROSGrounds were clean and well kept. LOTS of dogs in this park, but all animal waste seems to be cleaned as well. All neighboring campers were kindQuiet, not a rowdy campground. The lake is clean and free of geese. Great fishing and the primitive campsites are lined with pines and a nice woodline- Beautiful.Overall, a nice campground but most likely wouldn't return simply because the cons outweigh the pros in this one.
Jul 13, 2024 · Cait OnyshkoGreat hip camp find. Easy access and quiet location when I was there late in the fall. I can imagine it is a ton of fun in the summer as well. Clean and well taken care of.
