Leisure Lake Membership Association Introduce
For local residents in Ohio exploring "camping near me," Leisure Lake Membership Association, located at 5393 OH-225, Diamond, OH 44412, USA, presents itself as a membership-based campground. With contact numbers (330) 358-7418 and +1 330-358-7418, it's positioned as a community for members seeking recreational camping opportunities in the Diamond area. When considering local camping options, understanding the experiences of other campers is crucial for making an informed decision about whether a particular campground aligns with your expectations.
One recent visitor shared a notably negative first impression of Leisure Lake Membership Association. Their experience began upon arrival on Memorial Day when, driving their show car at what they stated was 7 mph, they were "greeted by 3 elderly women running to the roadside screaming 'slow down'." This initial encounter left a lasting negative impression, especially upon learning that one of these individuals was reportedly on the board. The reviewer, who stated they have "camped elsewhere for 16 years and truly understand the speed limit," described this welcome as a "terrible way to meet people for a first time visit" and concluded, "I would not camp at Leisure Lake for anything. Reel these these women in. Not a good face for your campground." This review also mentioned "unkept sites on the grounds," adding to the unfavorable initial assessment of the campground's overall maintenance.
Another review highlights a significant concern regarding noise levels within the campground. This visitor expressed frustration with "some campers who don't have any consideration for those around them, blasting their music all day and night!!" The excessive noise reportedly made it impossible to have a conversation at their own campsite. While acknowledging the potential of the location ("This could be such a great place"), the reviewer lamented the inconsiderate behavior of some guests, concluding, "Sad really!!" This feedback suggests a potential issue with noise management and consideration among some members or guests, which could impact the experience of those seeking a peaceful camping environment.
Based on these two recent reviews, the environment at Leisure Lake Membership Association appears to have both positive and negative aspects, at least from the perspectives of these visitors. The first review points to a potentially unwelcoming or overly strict initial interaction with some individuals associated with the campground, coupled with concerns about the upkeep of the campsites. This suggests that the aesthetic and management style might not meet everyone's expectations. The second review highlights a potential issue with noise pollution caused by inconsiderate campers, which could detract from the peaceful enjoyment of the natural surroundings. While the inherent natural environment of the location in Diamond, Ohio, is not described in detail, these reviews suggest that the social and management aspects significantly influence the overall atmosphere experienced by visitors.

However, as a membership-based campground, it likely offers a range of amenities intended for the use and enjoyment of its members and their guests. Based on the nature of campgrounds in general, potential services and features could include:

It would be prudent to ask about site maintenance, noise policies, and the general atmosphere of the campground based on the recent feedback.
Promotional information is not explicitly present in the provided reviews. The negative experiences shared by these visitors might, in fact, serve as a cautionary note for potential local users. For those considering joining Leisure Lake Membership Association or visiting as a guest, it would be wise to seek additional perspectives and information beyond these two reviews. This could involve speaking with current members, visiting the grounds (if possible, and with permission), or looking for other online reviews or testimonials. Understanding the benefits of membership, the associated costs, and the community culture would be essential before making a commitment. Potential local users might inquire about any introductory offers or opportunities to experience the campground before joining.
In conclusion, for local residents in Ohio searching for "camping near me," Leisure Lake Membership Association in Diamond presents a membership-based camping option. However, the recent reviews highlight potential concerns regarding initial interactions with individuals associated with the campground, the upkeep of the sites, and issues with noise from other campers. While membership campgrounds can offer a sense of community and various amenities, these specific experiences suggest that prospective local users should exercise caution and conduct thorough due diligence before deciding to join or visit Leisure Lake Membership Association. Contacting the association directly for more information and seeking a broader range of opinions would be advisable to form a well-rounded understanding of what this local campground offers.

Leisure Lake Membership Association Reviews
Visited this campground on Memorial Day. My husband chose to drive his show car since it was a beautiful day. We were met by our friends at the gate and given directions to their site. As we rounded the first corner we were greeted by 3 elderly women running to the roadside screaming "slow down". We were going 7mph. We have camped elsewhere for 16 years and truly understand the speed limit. I find out one of these women are on the board. What a terrible way to meet people for a first time visit. I would not camp at Leisure Lake for anything. Reel these these women in. Not a good face for your campground. Not to mention the unkept sites on the grounds,.
May 28, 2024 · Vicki GilpinIt's unfortunate that there are some campers who don't have any consideration for those around them, blasting their music all day and night!! Can't even have a conversation with anyone at your campsite, because their music is so loud. This could be such a great place, but for those that can't be considerate of others! Sad really!!
