Country Junction Resort & Marina Introduce
When local users in the Springville, Tennessee area search for "camping near me," Country Junction Resort & Marina, located at 221 Lakeshore Dr, Springville, TN 38256, USA, presents an appealing option for a getaway centered around the lake. You can reach them at (731) 336-6085 or their mobile number +1 731-336-6085 for inquiries and reservations.
Based on the available customer reviews, Country Junction Resort & Marina offers a unique blend of a welcoming community atmosphere and access to lake activities. One reviewer highlighted the exceptional friendliness of the residents, who went out of their way to provide assistance, even offering golf cart rides up the hill to a nearby BBQ place and noting the amazing burgers available at the local grocery store. This strong sense of community and helpfulness from the residents appears to be a significant positive aspect of the resort and marina.
Another reviewer echoed this sentiment, stating that they, along with their family, friends, and other campers they met, agreed "Across the board Country Junction Rocks!!!!" They further emphasized the balance between a relaxed environment where self-regulation is possible and the ready availability of the owners' help when needed. This suggests a management style that fosters a sense of trust and community among the campers, creating a positive and supportive atmosphere. The reviewer even referred to the location as their "little piece of heaven," expressing deep appreciation for the place and the owners' prompt assistance during a potentially difficult situation.
However, there is a point of caution for those intending to access the resort and marina from the water with a boat. One reviewer shared an experience where, while they wanted to tie their boat up to the dock, management did not encourage this. They mentioned a $5 per day on-your-honor fee for vehicles coming in off the road, which they were willing to pay, but they did not feel well-received when attempting to access the property from the water. Although they were allowed to dock for a short time, the experience felt "weird," leading the reviewer to advise against accessing the facility from the water. This suggests that there might be specific policies or preferences regarding how non-resident boaters interact with the marina facilities, and it would be prudent for anyone planning to arrive by boat to clarify these policies with the management beforehand.
The combination of positive feedback regarding the community and management, alongside the cautionary note about accessing from the water, paints a picture of a resort and marina that values its land-based guests and residents. The environment seems to be one where friendliness and mutual support are common, enhancing the overall camping or stay experience. The mention of a great BBQ place and amazing burgers at a nearby grocery store also suggests convenient local options for dining.
To gain a more comprehensive understanding of Country Junction Resort & Marina, local users searching for "camping near me" should consider the following:
- Inquire about camping options: While the reviews mention residents and boat docking, specific details about the types of campsites available (e.g., tent sites, RV sites with hookups) are not provided. It's essential to ask about the availability and features of camping facilities.
- Clarify boat docking policies: Anyone planning to bring a boat or access the resort from the lake should directly inquire about the rules and fees associated with docking for non-residents or campers. Understanding these policies will help avoid any unexpected issues upon arrival.
- Ask about amenities: Beyond the welcoming community and marina access, it would be helpful to know what other amenities are available, such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, picnic areas, fire pits, or recreational areas.
- Inquire about the environment: The location on Lakeshore Drive suggests a scenic setting by the water. Asking about the specific type of lake, the surrounding landscape, and any natural attractions in the area can help potential visitors understand the environment they can expect.
- Seek information on local attractions and services: The mention of a BBQ place and a grocery store is helpful, but inquiring about other nearby attractions, restaurants, or services could further inform a decision to stay at Country Junction Resort & Marina.
- Ask about any rules or regulations: Understanding the campground or resort's rules can ensure a smooth and respectful stay for all visitors.
- Inquire about promotional offers or seasonal rates: It's always worth asking if there are any special deals or discounts available, particularly for local residents or during specific times of the year.
The positive testimonials regarding the community spirit and the responsive management suggest that Country Junction Resort & Marina could be a delightful place to stay for those seeking a friendly and engaging environment with lake access. However, the specific concerns about accessing the marina by boat for non-residents should be carefully considered by those planning to arrive via the water.
For local users in the Springville, TN area looking for "camping near me" with a lakeside setting and a strong sense of community, Country Junction Resort & Marina appears to offer a unique appeal. The emphasis on resident friendliness and helpful management is a significant draw. However, it is crucial to obtain more specific information about camping facilities and to clarify the policies regarding boat docking, especially for those intending to access the property from the water. Direct communication with the resort and marina is recommended to ensure a clear understanding of all aspects of a stay.
In conclusion, Country Junction Resort & Marina in Springville, TN, offers a camping and marina experience characterized by a welcoming and helpful community and responsive management. The lakeside location provides opportunities for water-related activities. However, potential visitors, particularly those planning to arrive by boat, should directly inquire about the specific policies regarding marina access and docking for non-residents or campers. Further inquiries about camping amenities and the overall environment will help local users determine if this resort and marina is the ideal "camping near me" destination for their needs.

Country Junction Resort & Marina Reviews
Residents were super nice. Gave us rides in golf cart up the hill to great BBQ place and burgers at the grocery store are amazing. We wanted to tie boat up to the dock, but management doesn't encourage that. There is a $5 per day on your honor fee coming in off the road in a vehicle, we would have happily paid, but we were not well received from the water side. They allowed it for a minute, but it felt weird. Don't recmn'd accessing it from the water.
Jul 17, 2021 · Ashley MThere’s a lots of pros & cons reference Every Experience, no exceptions.I & my family, friends & all other campers we have met agree Across the boardCountry Junction Rocks!!!!The rules are loose enough we can police ourselves but when we need the owners help they are there!!!!I so appreciate this place, it’s our little piece of heaven in today’s world!!Thank You for EVERYTHING!This past weekend could have been a mess without your Immediate help!!!!You are very much appreciated!!
Nov 24, 2020 · Sharon HadleyThe owner is very arrogant and rude. If you rent a lot from him, you’re not even allowed to flush your used toilet paper down the toilet. There are multiple rules that you should read before signing your lease. There are many more campground areas that are much friendlier and kept to standard.
Jul 20, 2019 · Brian BratschiBeautiful. You get a good views of the river plus a boat launch and dock. People are very friendly. The sites are average with plenty of room for a vehicle and a personal porch. Good camp ground.
Jun 23, 2018 · Donna PenningtonI have visited and stayed at country junction multiple times over the past 3 or so years. The place is beautiful and fun all except for some of the people who also stay there or are camping there. Everytime that I have gone an elder man or woman has come up to me and my siblings and been extremely rude to us or just sat and stared at us as we swam. Not only that but we brought a friend with us as well and he tends to dress in all black but he means no one any harm he's a great person he just likes the color black and im assuming the elderly there didnt think he looked proper enough to be there and so everytime he would wave or just do nothing in general just sitting and talking with us they would give him disgusted looks and come up to us and start hassassing us.Not only them but some of the teenagers that stayed there as well. About 6 of them or so had come up to us while at the river and been extremely rude to us as well. These arent just average campers most of these ppl live there and just because my sisters and i dont live there gives none of these people any right to treat us this way. This has not happened not once or twice but every single time. Other than being harrassed and stared at by golf carters and campers the place is absouletly beautiful and we had a great time anyway.
