The environment surrounding CreekSide RV Park & Campground appears to be a significant part of its appeal, according to customer reviews. One reviewer describes it as "quaint and peaceful," emphasizing the tranquility of the location. The mention of an "orchard across the street" adds to the scenic charm and suggests a rural setting. Furthermore, the reviewer highlights the "amazing sunrises and sunsets" visible from the campground, indicating beautiful natural vistas that campers can enjoy. The overall impression is one of seclusion and a close connection with nature, making it an attractive option for those looking to unwind and immerse themselves in a peaceful environment for their "camping near me" getaway.
The services and features at CreekSide RV Park & Campground, based on the available reviews, point towards a focus on providing a welcoming and affordable camping experience. Key aspects highlighted by customers include:
- Friendly and Helpful Host: Both reviews specifically praise the host, Taylor. One describes her as "GREAT," and the other notes that "everyone was very friendly." This strong emphasis on hospitality suggests that campers can expect a warm and welcoming atmosphere during their stay.
- Affordable Rates: One reviewer explicitly mentions that the "prices were less for a week than I spend a night at some campgrounds!" This indicates that CreekSide RV Park & Campground offers excellent value for money, making it an attractive option for budget-conscious travelers and local campers alike.
- Peaceful and Secluded Atmosphere: As mentioned earlier, the tranquility and seclusion of the campground are highlighted, suggesting a quiet retreat away from more crowded or amenity-heavy camping options.
- Natural Beauty: The presence of a nearby orchard and the spectacular sunrises and sunsets contribute to the natural beauty of the location.
While the reviews provide valuable insights into the atmosphere and hospitality, they offer limited details about specific amenities. Based on the name "RV Park & Campground," it is reasonable to assume that the facility caters to both RV and tent campers. Potential services and features might include:
- RV Sites: Given the "RV Park" designation, the campground likely offers sites with varying levels of hookups, including electricity (likely 30 and 50 amp), water, and possibly sewer connections. The size and layout of these sites can vary.
- Tent Camping Areas: As a "Campground," it is expected that there are designated areas for tent camping, which could range from primitive sites to those with basic amenities like water or electric hookups.
- Restroom and Shower Facilities: While not explicitly mentioned, access to clean and functional restrooms with showers is a standard expectation at most campgrounds.
- Water Access: Potable water sources for drinking and other needs.
- Waste Disposal: Facilities for the proper disposal of trash.
- Creekside Location: The name suggests proximity to a creek, which could offer scenic views, the soothing sound of flowing water, and potentially opportunities for fishing or nature observation.
- Picnic Tables and Fire Pits: These are common amenities at campsites, providing convenience for outdoor dining and campfires.
The second reviewer makes an interesting point, stating, "...if you are looking for all the amenities that you have at home... There is a Holiday Inn just down the road!!!" This suggests that CreekSide RV Park & Campground might offer a more traditional and nature-focused camping experience, potentially with fewer of the extensive amenities found at some larger or more resort-style campgrounds. This aligns with the descriptions of it being "quaint and peaceful" and focused on "seclusion and getting closer to nature."
Promotional information is not explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, aside from the positive comment about the affordable rates. Local users interested in learning about any specific discounts for local residents, seasonal specials, or extended stay offers should contact the campground directly at (229) 886-0504 or +1 229-886-0504. Given the friendly nature of the host mentioned in the reviews, inquiries are likely to be met with helpful and informative responses.

The positive feedback regarding the friendly host, the tranquil atmosphere, and the budget-friendly rates make it particularly appealing. The potential for a creekside setting and the beautiful sunrises and sunsets further enhance its charm. While it might not offer all the amenities of a full-service resort campground, its focus on a genuine connection with nature and a welcoming environment seems to be its key strengths. CreekSide RV Park & Campground Reviews
It is quaint and peaceful out there. I have a lot tied to the place as I gave my vows to my now wife in the orchard across the street. Also, the sunrises and sunsets are amazing out there to watch. If you are looking for seclusion and getting closer to nature, you will find it there. I am grateful for the time that I have spent there.
Feb 28, 2025 · Aaron JonesJust spent a week there and it was awesome! The host Taylor was GREAT and everyone was very friendly. I would highly recommend this place to camp! Prices were less for a week than I spend a night at some campgrounds! If you are looking for a place to camp, this is it!!!, if you are looking for all the amenities that you have at home... There is a Holiday Inn just down the road!!! Keep up the good work Ms. Taylor!!!!!!!
May 26, 2024 · Timothy ShireyWe had to evacuate from Daytona Beach Florida from hurricane Milton. Found this RV park last minute. Wanted to send a big shoutout to Taylor for her wonderful hospitality. Great RV Park!!!!! We will be back!!!!
Oct 12, 2024 · Donna VWe were on a trip and needed a place to sleep. It was New Year’s Eve and called ahead. The owner said leave $15 in the drop box and we were able to pitch our tent. Clean bathroom and laundry room. Super quiet and respectful people in campground. No issues with noise as mentioned from the other reviews.
Jan 03, 2023 · Old Man OverlandWe've only stayed here 2 times. And both times we were able to sleep very well. The campground looks iffy, but it isn't bad. The sites are ok leveled. They have full hookups. Their rates are very inexpensive too. The people that run it are extremely nice. There's a Mike's Country Market not far from the campground. His prices are very fair. You'll take a right onto the main road or highway right in front of their car lot to get to it. And if you drive a little bit down, you'll take exit 2 to get to a few restaurants and auto parts places. Staying there was a whole lot better than sleeping at a Walmart parking lot or rest area.
