Deep Creek Tube Center & Campground Reviews
DCTC&C is a quiet campground nestled in the woods bordered by Deep Creek. Their many campsites and cabins offer something for everyone. My group of a dozen or so guys enjoy three nights of wholesome fun and frivolity in the spring, with so many things to do during the day. We're in our 50s-60s, so cabins suit us best. The camp website provides a great description and pictures of each.
Apr 28, 2025 · Tom HendersonWe enjoyed our time at Deep Creek tube center & campground so much. This is a great campground for families. The grandchildren loved the goats and the rock mining. The store is very unique. There are different play ground areas for children. I personally love the small church that sets at the entrance into the campground area. We stayed in Ruth’s house and it was so nice. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching and listening to the running water in the creek. There was a fire pit that we enjoyed sitting around making s’mores. I would highly recommend this campground. A wonderful retreat from the hustle and bustle of this busy world. Did I mention they have ice cream cones in the camp store. Very yummy on a hot day. Hope you find your way to this unique little town and visit this great campground.
Sep 15, 2024 · Trish SpringfieldA perfect spot on deep creek! Great camp spot (not super private if that is what you need). We chose a tent-only site which had no hook ups but was very close to the bath house and river access. It looks like many families in tents chose an rv site so they could have water and electric which looked fun! Gorgeous and well maintained. Close to town and snacks/bars, and helpful staff. Can rent tubes and do a lazy river style run right on site. What a treat! We will be back, and can’t wait to try one of the cabins.
Aug 08, 2024 · LesleyWe had a wonderful time at Deep Creek and hope to be able to come back soon. It's serene and picturesque. It rained most of the time we were there this weekend but it added to the ambiance. We have a tiny pull-behind and placed our waterproof (roof) screen house above the picnic table and prepped our food at the table.and cooked it over the open fire. I like the deep 'camp kitchen's sink with hot water so that I could clean the dishes. The bath house provided hot water and individual stalls and were fairly clean but the shower I used had mold on the corner of the ceiling. It's dated and basic, seemed to be untouched from the 80's. The camp store was very cute and well stocked.
May 05, 2024 · Denean BreedCanceled reservation due to aftermath of hurricane Helene because State of North Carolina says not to drive in Western NC. Cancelation was 8 days prior to arrival but they kept $136 deposit. Their explanation was that everything was ok in Bryson City. Not considering that to get there it would violate NC orders. Not to mention gas shortages along the way.Been going there each year for 4 years, but never again. Beware greedy people.I should also note we originally asked if we could reschedule to next year and was advised we could not. So the deposit could have easily been applied to the rescheduled time. Obviously they have no intention of working with people. Just exploit the terrible situation facing NC.
