Delaware Seashore State Park North Campground Reviews
We stayed at the South Campground 5 years ago and wanted to check out the North Campground this time. If you are trying to decide which side to book, they are very similar and the determining factor will probably which beach you like better. The view of the bridge at night is beautiful, bring your cameras. The campground is quiet and doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles but there are showers bathrooms, a playground, and a laundry facility. The sunrises are beautiful and a require a short walk across the street to the beach. The sunsets can be captured right in the campground at the gazebo by the waterfront. absolutely breathtaking. Some of the reviews mention the wind. I don't want that to discourage your visit but keep it in mind when setting up your site. There are no open fires allowed and I would not recommend putting up a tarp, gazebo, or anything that can become a sail regardless of how well it is tied down. One morning I walked through the campground and noticed at least 5 metal gazebos missing the covers as if they blew away.Something that I found pretty cool was the morning wake up call.
Apr 18, 2024 · Jaimie CorvettiBeautiful park with easy beach access. Lots of fishermen
Apr 30, 2025 · Sarah PaulStayed here with the camper and had a blast. Great location, easy to maneuver roads, facilities were clean, hook ups were well maintained and the grounds were great. Weather was rough very windy and cold, but not their fault. A short drive from OCMD we were able to hit all the fun places yet never be too far from the campground. We walked to (Coin Beach) under the highway which was awesome and down to the marina which was great. We hung around the bar Dockside just a short walk down the marina road and watched the Coast Guard run some drills. Was a great spot we will be returning. Side note, you definitely want a water regulator the pressure was top notch on the hook up.
May 15, 2024 · Franco ZBooked spot 400 on the north area of the campground. This campground was basically a parking lot turned into a campground. The website said that it was full hookup but there was no water. However, the grounds were clean, the beach area was large, the sunset was spectacular. The location was great and bike riding distance to the surrounding towns. I would definitely come back. Oh and dog friendly
Feb 26, 2022 · Imisa RiveraRight off the highway on the inlet. Full hookups. No shade and spots are close together, but this place is all about proximity to the beach and to fishing. Every time I've been here, the crowd has been extremely friendly.Spots are level and the bath house is very nice and clean.
