Ebenezer Campground, located on Salmon River Rd in North Fork, Idaho, offers a scenic riverside camping experience that has garnered positive feedback from visitors. For local users seeking a budget-friendly and naturally appealing getaway, Ebenezer Campground is definitely worth considering. The reviews highlight its picturesque location next to the river and the availability of essential amenities, making it a potentially ideal spot for your next camping trip.
Environment: Riverside Beauty in a Secluded Setting
The environment of Ebenezer Campground is clearly one of its major attractions. Situated right next to the Salmon River, campers can expect beautiful views and the soothing sounds of flowing water. The location is described as being about 5-7 miles after the paved road ends, suggesting a degree of seclusion away from more developed areas. However, the road is reported to be "pretty good," without ruts or excessive washboarding, making it reasonably accessible. This blend of natural beauty and relative ease of access is a significant plus for those seeking a peaceful outdoor experience.
One important note for dog owners is the presence of sap under the trees. While the campground is seemingly pet-friendly, as one reviewer brought their dogs, the sticky sap could be a concern. Bringing a tarp for your pets to lie on is recommended to avoid matted fur. Despite this minor inconvenience, the overall natural setting by the river appears to be highly appreciated by visitors.
The fact that one reviewer mentioned having the entire campground to themselves suggests that it might not always be crowded, potentially offering an even more tranquil experience for those who value solitude in nature. The combination of the riverside location and the surrounding natural landscape makes Ebenezer Campground an appealing choice for those wanting to immerse themselves in Idaho's scenic beauty.
Services and Features: Basic Yet Well-Maintained Amenities
Based on the customer review, Ebenezer Campground offers a few key amenities. It has a water pump, providing a source of water for campers. Additionally, picnic tables are available at the campsites, offering a convenient space for meals and other activities. The campground also features pit toilets, which are noted to be "very maintained," indicating a level of care for basic sanitation needs. These amenities, while not extensive, cover the essentials for a comfortable camping experience in a natural setting.
The affordability of Ebenezer Campground is also a significant feature, with a reported cost of just $5 per night. This makes it an exceptionally budget-friendly option for those looking to enjoy the outdoors without breaking the bank. The combination of a beautiful location and basic, well-maintained facilities at a low cost enhances its appeal, especially for local users seeking value for money in their "camping near me" options.
While there's no mention of other services like trash disposal, fire rings, or designated parking spots, the provided information gives a good overview of the key amenities available. Ebenezer Campground Reviews
Beautiful spot next to river! Has a water pump, tables, pit toilets which are very maintained. It's about 5-7 miles after paved road ends but road is pretty good, no ruts, not too washboard. For any dog owners, lots of sap under trees. We had our dogs lay on tarp after pulling chunks of hair out that got sap! 😫 Campsites are $5/night.
