Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures Introduce
If you're searching for "camping near me" in the Sevierville, Tennessee area, Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures, located at 3524 Sam Ellis Way, Sevierville, TN 37876, USA, offers a unique concept combining tiny home rentals and RV camping. Situated within a convenient driving distance of popular destinations like Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (approximately 20 minutes), this location provides access to the numerous attractions and natural beauty of the region.
Based on recent customer feedback, the environment at Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures presents a mixed picture. While the area is acknowledged as beautiful and the campground boasts proximity to the river (within a 200-yard walk), some significant environmental concerns have been raised. One guest who stayed at a campsite over Memorial weekend reported issues with uncut grass, described as being 7 or 8 inches tall. This tall grass allegedly contributed to a significant bug problem and made the ground wet, impacting the overall camping experience. The same guest also noted that trees at the entrance to their site were overgrown, causing scratches to their camper. These observations suggest that ground maintenance may be an area needing attention.
Another review from a prospective visitor who did not stay at the campground but drove there to tour the tiny homes reported a lack of on-site staff and unanswered phone calls. This raises concerns about the accessibility of information and the availability of assistance for potential guests. The same individual also commented on the lack of view from the property and the close proximity of the accommodations to each other, suggesting a potential lack of privacy if all units are occupied.
Regarding services and features, the information available is limited and somewhat contradictory based on the reviews. The campground offers both RV sites and tiny home rentals, catering to different accommodation preferences. The proximity to the river is a notable feature, offering potential recreational opportunities, although the accessibility to the river was reportedly through the tall grass. The mention of a campsite suggests the availability of basic camping amenities, but the specific details of these amenities (e.g., hookups for RVs, fire pits, picnic tables) are not provided in the reviews.
The positive aspect highlighted in one review is the convenient location, offering a quick 20-minute drive to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This accessibility makes Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures a potentially attractive option for those wanting to explore these popular tourist destinations while having a camping or tiny home experience nearby.
However, it is important to consider the negative feedback regarding maintenance and staffing. The issue of uncut grass and overgrown trees suggests potential shortcomings in groundskeeping. The difficulty in contacting staff and the absence of anyone available for a tour raise concerns about customer service and on-site support.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Potential local users would need to contact Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures directly to inquire about any special offers, discounts, or the availability of tiny homes and RV sites. Ellis Cove Tiny Home & RV Adventures Reviews
We stayed in campsite memorial weekend. They didn't have the grass cut. At least 7 or 8 inches tall. Trees in entrance to the site were very overgrown. Scratches to my camper . It was a quick 20 min drive to Gatlinburg or pigeon forge. Area beautiful. I prob won't be back the bugs to bad in grass that tall and made my shoes wet. My husband was even trying to find someone who worked there to ask if he could use the lawnmower to at least cut the grass at or site. It was about a 200 yard walk to the river through grass that high.
May 27, 2024 · Becky LapointeI did not stay here, but I did drive there, hoping to take a tour of their homes. There was nobody there to talk to, and I tried calling their number, and there was no answer. There's really not much of a view there, but they are very close to the river. I also think they are way too close to each other. There's no privacy, if they are all rented.
