Fastlane Campground Introduce
Looking for a dynamic campground experience close to home? Located in DeLand, Florida, Fastlane Campground offers a unique camping environment that particularly shines during major local events, while also providing a welcoming space for general camping. As a featured option in the 'camping near me' category, Fastlane Campground presents itself as a convenient and well-equipped choice for local residents seeking a versatile camping destination.
Fastlane Campground, situated in DeLand, enjoys a strategic location with easy access to both the natural attractions of Central Florida and the excitement of nearby event hubs like Daytona Beach. The campground's address at 3150 E New York Ave places it conveniently near major highways such as Hwy 4 and I-95, making it easily reachable for local campers and those traveling to the area for specific events. While the immediate environment of the campground isn't extensively detailed in the provided information, its proximity to DeLand suggests access to local amenities and services.
Based on customer reviews, Fastlane Campground appears to offer a particularly appealing setup for large events, notably the Daytona Bike Week. One reviewer specifically mentioned the "pretty cool set up for the bike rally," indicating that the campground is organized and equipped to handle the influx of visitors attending such events. This suggests that Fastlane Campground is experienced in managing a higher volume of campers and providing necessary facilities.
The services and features highlighted in the reviews provide valuable insight into what Fastlane Campground offers. The helpfulness of the staff, particularly mentioning an individual named Troy, stands out as a significant positive aspect. This suggests a commitment to customer service and a willingness to assist both first-time visitors and returning guests. The campground accommodates various camping styles, including RVs, haulers, tents, and car camping, making it a flexible option for different types of campers.
For essential amenities, the campground provides a good number of trash cans and Porto-Johns, indicating attention to basic sanitation needs, especially during potentially crowded events. Additionally, the presence of showers is a notable convenience, offering campers a way to refresh during their stay. These facilities contribute to a more comfortable camping experience, particularly for longer stays or during warmer Florida weather.
One reviewer mentioned the availability of beer, vendors, food, and a swap meet, specifically in the context of the bike rally. This suggests that during events, Fastlane Campground transforms into a lively hub with on-site conveniences and entertainment. While these specific offerings might be event-dependent, they highlight the campground's potential to create a vibrant community atmosphere.
In terms of promotional information, the reviews themselves act as strong testimonials, emphasizing the helpfulness of the staff and the well-organized setup for events. The mention of being a "nice, cheap option only 20 mins to the main strip in Daytona" serves as a key promotional point for those attending events in Daytona Beach, offering an affordable alternative to more centrally located accommodations with easy access via major highways.
However, one important environmental factor to note is that the campground is "directly in the sun." This is a crucial piece of information for potential campers, especially during the hot Florida summers. Campers should come prepared with adequate shade structures, sun protection, and strategies for staying cool, particularly if their chosen camping spot offers little natural shade.
For local users searching for 'camping near me' that offers more than just a basic campsite, Fastlane Campground presents an interesting option. Its ability to cater to large events while also accommodating general camping suggests a versatile and potentially lively atmosphere. The positive feedback regarding helpful staff adds to its appeal, indicating a welcoming and supportive environment for campers.
The accessibility of Fastlane Campground, being only 20 minutes from the Daytona main strip and with easy access from major highways, makes it a convenient choice for local residents looking for a weekend getaway or those participating in events in the Daytona area. The variety of camping options available ensures that different preferences and needs can be met, whether you have a large RV or prefer the simplicity of tent camping.
In conclusion, Fastlane Campground in DeLand, Florida, stands out as a conveniently located and well-regarded campground, particularly noted for its excellent setup and helpful staff during events like Daytona Bike Week. While potential campers should be mindful of the open, sunny environment, the availability of essential amenities, the variety of camping options, and the positive customer experiences make it a strong contender in the 'camping near me' category for local users seeking a dynamic and accessible camping destination.

Fastlane Campground Reviews
incredibly helpful. First time in Florida and first time here for bike week called with questions and Troy help me out so much. I would recommend this to anyone that’s coming out here for bike week or camping in general. They have a great campground with tons of things nearby. Again, Troy was incredibly helpful
Mar 08, 2025 · Andrew StumpThis place has a pretty cool set up for the bike rally. I've been to burning bike before, but this is the first time I've camped. There's beer, bikes, babes! Vendors, food, swapmeet. They take RVs, haulers, tents and car camping. Lots of trash cans, Porto johns and even showers. Nice, cheap option only 20 mins to the main strip in Daytona. Easy access from hwy 4 or I-95. Lots of space but directly in the sun, just fyi
Mar 08, 2025 · Gypsy AlfordDecent campground! Clean enough showers for bike week.
Mar 19, 2025 · Jordan ParrishWe went to see the Burning Bike again this year. We had family and friends in from Missouri and Tampa that had never seen it burn. So that was cool for them but everybody there thought it was going to be lit at 8 or 9pm and it was 10 and they had to go home and pack to leave and of course it started sprinkling on us. So everybody left. My husband and I were on bikes unlike all of them abs with everybody trying to leave we took our time and watched from our bikes until it was all the way up the rider.. and then the rain let up and we drove the cold moist, hour and a half home.
Mar 11, 2024 · Angie SaundersWe booked this for bike week 2023, we were very disappointed. There were no signs indicating where to go for registration when you get there, we drove around it 4 times before we found where to go. We were packed together like sardines. The way the map looked we would be close to the stage and the swap meet, as it turned out, we were over a quarter of a mile away from everthing. There was no toilet paper in the women's bathroom/shower. Not enough trash cans. Only one food truck. The swap meet was not huge like advertised. It was misrepresented entirely. Will definitely not stay there next year.
